  Abstract


In this technological world everyone is suffering from frustration. It is becoming a serious problem in the society. Many people are suffering from this problem. This study was conducted to find out the relation between frustration level and school environment and to find the difference in frustration level with respect to gender, school and locality on the sample of 200 secondary school students of district Gurdaspur state Punjab. Descriptive survey research method and Frustration scale by Dr. N.S. Chauhan and Dr. Govind Tiwari and self- prepared School Environment questionnaire was used for data collection. Mean, SD and t-test were applied for data analysis. The findings of the study showed a significant and negative correlation between Frustration and School Environment. No significant difference was in frustration level of boys and girls who were studying in secondary schools. It showed that both boys and girls students have equal frustration level. Significant difference was found in frustration level of secondary school students of government and private schools. Private school students have more frustration level as compare to government school students. There is a significant difference in Frustration level of secondary school students belonging to rural and urban areas. Urban area students were facing more frustration than the rural area students. This study would be useful for parents, teachers, school administration and policy makers.
