Abstract
Karnin? Yonivy?pada is one among the twenty Yonivy?padas described by ?c?rya Su?ruta, characterized by a fleshy protuberance in the vaginal canal resembling the pericarp of a lotus flower [1]. It results from vitiation of Kapha and Pitta do?as, causing local M??sa praroha and discharge. In modern context, it can be correlated with cervical erosion or chronic cervicitis, presenting with similar symptoms such as vaginal discharge, pain, and irritation. This review aims to highlight classical references, etiopathogenesis, modern correlation, and Ayurvedic management principles of Karnin? Yonivy?pada.
