Abstract
The topic "the socio-economic condition of the cinchona plantation workers of Munsong: sociological study". since it is the sociological work on the socio-economic of the workers, it aimed to study the socio-economic conditions of cinchona plantation workers in Munsong, Kalimpong district of West Bengal. The study is mainly focus on the labors of cinchona plantation industry of Munsong and on the series of events that happened during the past 10 years, it reflect how the shutting down of cinchona plantation impacted the lives of workers and their families and also to understand the problems of workers during pandemic, which has caused inevitable economic crisis that has primarily affected the workers of the cinchona plantation. It also highlight the role of women in the cinchona plantation industry in the present scenario
