Abstract
This study examines the impact of financial literacy on consumer awareness and knowledge of equity-based mutual funds offered by Indian banks. An understanding of investor knowledge becomes a crucial component of making responsible financial decisions as retail involvement in equity markets increases, especially through bank-distributed funds. The impact of financial literacy on customers' comprehension, confidence, and investment in equity-based funds from public and private sector banks is examined in this research.
