This study explores the intricate relationship between intellectual property (IP) law and its influence on innovation within the technology sector. By analysing legal frameworks and their enforcement, this research aims to uncover how IP laws either stimulate or stifle technological advancements. Through a comprehensive analysis of case studies and empirical data, the study also examines the potential consequences of overly restrictive IP laws on competition and market dynamics. Furthermore, it proposes recommendations for policymakers to strike a balance between protecting intellectual property rights and fostering innovation in the rapidly evolving tech industry. This research also takes into account the global nature of the technology sector and analyses the impact of international IP laws on innovation.
