Job satisfaction is a critical factor influencing employee performance, retention, and organizational success. This research paper aims to compare the job satisfaction levels between public and private sector employees in Surat District of Gujarat. The study analyzes key factors contributing to job satisfaction, including salary, job security, work-life balance, career advancement opportunities, and work environment. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, gathering data through surveys and interviews from employees in both sectors. The findings highlight differences and similarities in satisfaction levels and provide insights for policymakers and organizations to enhance employee well-being and productivity.
