  Abstract


Electric stun gun, commonly referred to as stun guns or conducted energy devices (CEDs), have emerged as widely used non-lethal weapons in a variety of security-related domains. These devices operate by delivering a high-voltage, low-current electrical shock that incapacitates an individual temporarily by disrupting the body's neuromuscular system. While initially developed for law enforcement and military applications, electric stun devices have gained popularity in civilian markets for personal defense, offering a safer alternative to traditional weapons like firearms and knives. The design and operation of these devices revolve around the precise control of electrical output--delivering high voltage but low current to avoid permanent harm while maximizing effectiveness in immobilizing a target. The technology behind electric stun teasers is continuously evolving, and new advancements are focused on improving performance, safety, and ease of use. Despite their non-lethal nature, electric stun devices are not without their risks, with concerns about misuse, health implications, and potential for excessive force, particularly in law enforcement applications.
