Nonetheless, the clove is used commercially to make clove oil, which contains active ingredients with anti-inflammatory, anti-thrombotic, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-diabetic, anaesthetic, pain-relieving, and insect-repellent qualities.
