Because single molecule sensors like nanopores can detect biomolecules even at low levels, they could be important in medical practices today. Using nanopores for sensing means you need less of a substance to detect it, which can be helpful in clinics. Nanopores can also be adjusted to detect many different types of molecules, are inexpensive, and can be made in large quantities. We talk about past studies and how nanopores can be used in medicine to detect diseases early, track treatments, and recognize when a disease comes back. Infections are a big problem for public health and they are becoming more dangerous for people everywhere.
