  Abstract

Introduction: This paper presents the case of a 40-year-old female residing in Delhi, India, whose X-ray of the submandibular gland area and a USG scan of the Thyroid / neck region revealed a salivary gland stone of about 8-9 mm in size. She had availed distal FTS energy healing sessions for the treatment of her condition. Method: The case records from both the healer and the patient are examined in-depth in this research using a case study methodology. Results: Healings were started 12 days after the initial diagnosis had taken place. On the third day of healing, the necessity for analgesics / painkillers was reduced. Surgery was suggested for the removal of the stone, due to it's awkward position. The first attempt at removing the stone through surgery was not successful due to persisting infection and pus in the tissue near the salivary gland. The surgery was rescheduled 2 weeks later, however the stone was nowhere to be found. A full recovery was observed within a span one month of starting energy healings. Conclusions: The energy healing protocols of FTS demonstrate effectiveness in treating a range of diseases, regardless of the distance between the healer and patient. These protocols are considered complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). It is important to conduct further research on this phenomenon using appropriate sample groups and methodologies. Additionally, it would be beneficial for healthcare professionals and their associates to receive training in holistic and non-contact energy healing techniques, thereby making treatment more accessible and cost-effective for patients.
