Abstract
This review paper gives information on Big Data and Hadoop and Spark, along with the other technologies. It shows a
study on MapReduce and Hadoop distributed File System (HDFS)[3] which are important in Hadoop as well as Resilient Distributed
Datasets(RDDS) [6], Spark SQL [7], MLlib [5] which areimportant for Apache Spark. Along with that other Big Tools such as
Apache Flume [3], Apache Kafka [2], Apache Sqoop, [3] etc. It also shows the difference between these two open-source
frameworks and what future technologies are supposed to be integrated so that they can be more efficient and speed. What they
lack and how these can be solved.
