focusing on data from the 2023 National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report. It explores
the trends and patterns in gender-based violence, including domestic violence, cybercrime,
and sexual offenses. The paper also discusses regional disparities in crime rates and examines
the socio-economic and cultural contexts that contribute to these crimes. By utilizing a multi-
faceted approach, this study highlights the need for more effective policies, legal frameworks,
and support systems to combat crimes against women. The findings emphasize the
importance of future research and targeted interventions to address the root causes of gender-
based violence.
