Abstract
Media is always considered as a platform of sharing knowledge. It helps an individual to access information on a global level. This study documented how children were attracted towards television as sources of media in different settings .i.e. institutional settings and family settings.
Major findings of the study were that in both the settings there has been recorded that they uses different sources of media and access to material. However in the two contexts there is no particular routine habits which directs, how to use media as source of learning
