Abstract
Changes in the pilgrimage in Char Dham of Uttarakhand, due to the change in the form of traditional pilgrimage and present situation as well as to highlight the impact of modern transportation and communication on the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand, the present pilgrimage is only tourism. The aim is to conduct an introspective study of the various points, as well as to highlight the impact of change and development in the nature of the chattis falling on the pilgrimage route, and also to highlight the changes that have taken place in the pilgrimage in the present times. Along with this, the problems being faced by the pilgrims have also been mentioned so that in the coming times, the pilgrimage to the Char Dhams of Uttarakhand can become easy and simple and accessible to the common people.
