Abstract: The goal of India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is to restructure the current educational system in order to better meet the needs of the twenty-first century. Significant changes are brought about by this approach in all educational domains, from early childhood education to postsecondary education and vocational training. A move towards a more comprehensive and diversified education, the incorporation of technology, a concentration on creativity and critical thinking, and an emphasis on experiential learning are some of the main components of NEP 2020. The strategy also emphasises the significance of inclusion and equity, seeking to close gaps brought about by socioeconomic inequalities. With a focus on teacher empowerment and learner-centric approaches, NEP 2020 seeks to establish an adaptable, current, and inclusive educational framework. This change in perspective is anticipated to provide pupils with the abilities required for a world that is changing quickly, encouraging creativity, flexibility, and lifelong learning. NEP 2020's complete design establishes it as a critical reform with the goal of reviving India's educational system for upcoming generations.
