From beginning to end love affairs of Susana is treated with her equal portion of hatred. Love with all lust and hatred with unfulfilled lust make the edible. RK Narayan's post-colonial novel The Guide is a romantic love history among Raju, Rousie and Nalini. This is a trilogy love and hatred story of the two male and one female character.
