Efficient supply chains play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services. However, disruptions in the supply chain often result in delivery delays that cause significant financial losses and operational problems for companies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of supply chain disruptions on delivery delays in various industries. Through an extensive literature review, case studies, surveys and interviews with supply chain professionals, this study identifies the most common disruptions and their impact on delivery schedules. In addition, the study evaluates existing mitigation strategies and makes recommendations to improve supply chain sustainability.
