Abstract
Collection is the Wealth of library. library collection development is the process of planning and acquiring a balanced collection of library materials of many formats, including books, periodicals, CDs- DVDs, online resources and other media. electronic technologies and collection development are two of the top concerns in library and information science today. the papar highlights on the collection development of resources of selected Four Engineering colleges affiliated to KBCNMU, Jalgaon, (Maharashtra). the survey will covered all aspects of library collection development like, Books (Printed/Electronic), Journal Collection(Printed/Electronic),E-Collection, monographs, rare books, bound volumes, manuscripts etc. the descriptive survey method is adopted for the study. the main purpose of the study is to know the collection development resources in selected college libraries.
