Adolescence is a critical stage of development, during which emotional and psychological challenges often emerge, especially among girls living in socio-economically disadvantaged regions. The Tribal Sub-Plan (T.S.P.) areas are characterized by unique cultural, educational, and economic conditions that may influence the mental health of adolescent girls. In this context, the present study aims to examine the nature and level of anxieties experienced by girls belonging to the T.S.P. areas. The study focuses on identifying various forms of anxieties, such as academic, social, familial, and personal anxieties, and understanding the factors contributing to these concerns. Special attention is given to the impact of limited educational resources, social expectations, and environmental constraints on the psychological well-being of girls in tribal regions. The findings of this research are expected to provide meaningful insights for educators, parents, policymakers, and social workers to develop appropriate educational and psychological support systems. The study highlights the importance of targeted interventions and awareness programs to reduce anxiety and promote the emotional well-being and overall development of girls in T.S.P. areas.
