Abstract
This paper focus on application of Environmental Management Accounting (EMA) for sustainable agriculture. The emphasis of this research paper is on sugarcane and pomegranate farming. There are two methods of accounting. One is Physical EMA (PEMA) and other is Monetary EMA (MEMA). PEMA gives background to MEMA to evaluate and analyze cost control, efficiency and performance of life cycle of crop. MEMA is dependent on market price. Market price is variable with respect to time so we are focusing on PEMA in this paper.
Scope of paper is restricted Five Environmental Performance Indicators (EPI) relevant to sugarcane and pomegranate farming are Fertilizer, water, Planting Density, Life cycle of crop, yield of crop etc.
