The increasing preference fo r herb al and natural produc ts in perso nal c are has driven interest in the develo pm ent of herb al alternatives to synthetic sham p oos, w hich o ften c ontain harsh chem ic als linked to sc alp irritatio n, hair d am age, and environm ental c oncerns. This study w as undertaken to prepare and evaluate a po lyherbal sham p oo po w d er using selec ted m edic inal plants traditionally kno w n fo r their hair c leansing , co nditioning , and antim icro bial p rop erties. The p rim ary aim w as to d evelop a safe, effective, and eco -friendly form ulation w ith m inim al or no side effec ts, catering to the gro w ing dem and for natural hair c are so lutions. In this form ulatio n, The D rug Includ es O live Leaves, H ib iscus Flow er, m ethi, Ritha, C urry Leaves, Po m egranate P eel, P epperm int, Shikakai. The herb s w ere selected based on their ind iv idual and synergistic benefits for scalp and hair health, suc h as natural c leansing ability, antifungal and antibac terial effec ts, preventio n of dand ruff, streng thening o f hair roo ts, and p rom o tio n of hair g row th. E ach ing redient w as d ried , pow dered , and sieved to ac hieve a fine and uniform co nsistenc y, fo llo w ed by blending in optim ized p rop ortions to ob tain the final po lyherbal sham p oo po w d er.The prepared fo rm ulation w as sub jected to co m prehensive phy sic ochem ical and perform anc e evaluatio ns, including organoleptic prop erties (c olour, o do ur, texture), pH determ ination, foam ing ability, fo am retentio n, w etting tim e, dirt dispersio n, and c leansing efficienc y. T hese param eters are c ritic al in assessing Results revealed that the p olyherbal sham po o p ow der p ossessed desirab le physical characteristics and produced adequate foam ing upon application with water. The pH of the form ulation w as w ithin the id eal rang e fo r scalp use (betw een 5.5 and 6.5), ind ic ating m ildness and com patib ility w ith hum an sk in. It show ed effic ient c leansing ability by effectively rem ov ing dirt and o il w ithout leaving resid ues. reflecting the form ulation ' s g ood spread ability and ease of app lication. N o m icro bial c ontam ination w as d etected , and the p ow der rem ained stab le o ver the ob servation p eriod w itho ut sig ns of physical or chem ic al deg radation. O verall, the polyherbal sham po o p ow der develop ed in this study offers a prom ising alternative to co nventional sham po os. It pro vid es a natural and safe app roac h to hair c leansing and c are w itho ut the risk s assoc iated w ith synthetic add itives such as sulfates, parabens, and artificial fragranc es. M oreo ver, its prep aratio n is sim ple, co st-effective, and sustainable, m ak ing it suitable fo r b oth household use and p otential co m m ercial develop m ent. T he results enco urage further research into stand ardizatio n, long-term stability, and user acc eptab ility , as w ell as clinic al studies to validate its therapeutic efficacy for various scalp and hair conditions.
