Abstract
HIV (Human immune deficiency virus) is transmitted through unprotected intercourse, blood transfusion, from mother to fetus and other ways. The aim of the study is assess the level of knowledge of adults regarding premarital HIV testing and provides the knowledge regarding the importance of premarital HIV testing so that before marriage people do HIV testing so transmission of HIV can be prevented and save the many lives.The conceptual framework is based on Ludwig theory. The study involves semi structure questionnaire and planned teaching program provides to samples. Output refers to increase the knowledge of adult regarding premarital HIV testing among adults. This study deals with Description of methods and different steps used for collecting and organizing data.
Descriptive evaluatory methodology and one group pretest and post-test design used and 30 adults used as a sample between age group 18-41years by non- probability convenience method. Pre-test taken, planned teaching program and post-test was performed after 7 days. In this study calculated paired T test value16.5 and table value 2.05. Researcher reject null hypothesis.It shows that planned teaching program was effective and level of knowledge regarding premarital HIV testing among adults was increased
