The Misings are one of the major tribes of Assam. They are an Indo- Mongoloid ethnic group. They are mainly found in riverine areas of Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Tinsukia and Sonitpur district. The Misings are distinguished by their unique traditional economic system, social system, family system, rituals and cultural system. Now- a- days, there are some changes occuring on their way of social life because of globalisation, influence of communication and also because of their contact with various ethnic groups of India. Due to influences of globalisation, some considerable changes have taken place in their livelihood, patterns of house construction, marriage system, dress, Jewellery, food habit, language, religion, festivals , folk songs and folk dances etc. So in this paper an attempt has been done to understand the influences of globalisation and the changes taking place in social life of the Mising community. The study is basically based on the observation of the participant and through unstructured interview method.

The automated method for identifying Indian currency notes is conceived in this paper and checks whether they are false or original. In banking systems and other fields, the automated machine is very useful. The falsified currency bills in India are increasing by 100, 500 and 2000 rupees. If the technologies such as scanning, color printing and duplication increases, the issue of counterfeiting increases. This paper uses image recognition to recognize false Indian currency notes. The image acquisition is performed in this technique first and pre-processing applies to the frame. Smoothly and change the image to grey after conversion while pre-processing the image segmentation then extract features and minimize, then compare the image and include the outcome of false or actual currency.

World over, the issue of reduction of energy consumption in the buildings has become the most burning issue and the last decade has seen a substantial quantum of efforts towards reducing the same. However, the primary focus in most of these efforts has been on operational energy, with lesser weightage given to the other forms of energy. A holistic approach towards computing energy efficiency, covering all the energy consumption phases has been by and large missing both at the international as well as the national level. The primary research work done in this paper pertains to the establishment of such a wholesome approach by adopting Life Cycle Energy Analysis as a means to assess energy consumption. The paper lays down the methodology for the same to be broadly consisting of consolidating the existing data, evolving scientific parameters for computation of embodied energy, establishing standard processes for calculating LCEA, comparing the results with the work done by other research organizations and refining the same. Finally, the paper seeks to implement the results of the studies by putting in place uniform methodologies and systems for computing LCEA with respect to Indian conditions, substituting the present energy assessment systems with LCEA, and incorporating the same in the major rating systems including GRIHA and LEEDS.

For protection of the LVDC distribution systems, the overcurrent-based protection is the first choice and the differential protection is the last choice. The differential protection needs the synchronizing and comparing functions. Implementing these functions for the LVDC system with high fault transients is difficult and expensive. Also, the differential protection does not provide the backup protection. On the other hand, it does not have complexities of the over-current protection like coordination and setting issues. This paper proposes an over-current protection scheme that is based on the use of the over-current relays for the protection of a radial LVDC system with PV units. The protection system must respond toboth utility grid and microgrid faults which isolates the smallest possible section of the radial feeder to eliminate the fault.

India is a country whose population is growing rapidly, indicating that traffic is also increases. The development of rural and Urban areas also increases its means furthering of transportation facilities are also developed. The geometric design manages the dimensions and layout of visible features of the road such as alignment, sight distance, cross-section and intersections. When geometric design performed manually, it is time-consuming and highly susceptible to very costly errors. In the present time, various software are available in market such as Bentley MX Road, HEADS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc are used to design the geometry of road. Current patterns are adapted to the utilization of computer programs for roadway geometry design. For this job the best available Highway Geometric Design Software must be used for designing of road. Keeping this in view we have used Autodesk Civil 3D Software for the geometric design of the proposed road. Total station is a nifty for importing the points in AutoCAD civil 3D which is in the form of x, y, z co-ordinates that is latitude, longitude and elevation. These co-ordinates of the ground will generate and helps to design the alignment in the AutoCAD.

Load forecasts are very important for the smooth working in the field of electricity. It has various uses such as purchasing of energy and production, switching the load, base development, and for evaluating contacts. Energy planning and generation of power play an important role in this scenario. Their knowledge can be used in the development of smart grids. It is of three types: long-term, short-term, and medium-term. A study concerning the already existing approaches of short-term electricity forecasting shows that an example of an improved technique is still in need. In this article, the use of a neural network called long-short term memory has been explored considering tackling of load projecting accuracy issues. The result is analyzed and the steps that can be taken to get better results along with the future scope of the project are discussed. Factors affecting load forecasting accuracy are also discussed. Forecasting permits using energy storage systems to decrease the cost of energy for the consumer. Knowing future electricity consumption along with future electricity prices makes it possible to decide when to engage a battery storage system as opposed to drawing power from the grid. It creates a path for future research and development of high-efficiency algorithms for load forecasting. A comparison of the merits and demerits of various load prediction methods is also performed.

Tannase enzyme producing fungal spores were isolated from spoiled bread. The extracellular fungal spores that producing maximum yield of enzyme was identified as Aspergillus niger. Enzyme production was studied under solid state fermentation using different rich tannin substrates like indian almond leaves (Terminalia catappa), amla leaves (Phyllanthus emblica), jamun leaves (Syzygium cumini) and tamarind leaves (Tamarindus indica). Compared to all of these substrates indian almond leaves were found to be the best substrate for enzyme production under solid state fermentation (SSF). The maximum production of tannase was found to be at 30? after 72hrs of incubation. The crude enzyme was separated by using the column chromatography from that fractions were analyzed that serine (0.2Rf) amino acid from indian almond leaves substrate using thin layer chromatography (TLC), and jamun leaves substrate has tannase enzyme functional groups using Fourier-transform infrared analysis (FTIR). Then the tannase enzyme was shows the higher inhibitory activity against the Pseudomonas sp., while applied on antibacterial activities.
