ABSTRACT: Riley-Day syndrome is a hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy type III (HASAN) resulting insensitivity to pain, inability to produce tears, poor growth and labile blood pressure. It is caused by mutations in IKBKAP gene on chromosome 9. On clinical diagnosis no fungiform papillae on the tongue, there is deep tendon reflexes and lack of an axon flare, genetic test denotes presence of chromosome 9. Treatment of Riley-Day syndrome is preventative, symptomatic, and supportive. Medicines are used to control vomiting, eye dryness, and blood pressure. Central nervous system degeneration have a poor long term prognosis.

Anxiety is a normal response to human experience and survival not unlike the flight, or hide response, humans need anxiety in order to act and to protect them from suffering. It is the result of unresolved trauma leaving the individual in a heightened physiological state if arousal in which certain experiences have the potential to reactivate the old trauma, as is often the case post traumatic stress. Sometimes anxiety results from a lack of, or inexperience at, knowing how to self-sooth and there are other psychological and emotional reasons for anxiety

Alcoholism is a major health problem in the world today. The present study is an attempt to assess the effect of supportive psychotherapy on achieving the wellness among the alcoholic patients. The objective of the study were to assess the pre interventional level of wellness among alcoholic patients, to evaluate the effect of supportive psychotherapy on level of wellness and to associate pre interventional level of wellness score with selected socio-demographic variables. The Conceptual frame work for the present study was based on system theory modified by Ludwig von bertalanffy. The study was experimental in nature which was carried out in a group of 100 alcoholic patients admitted in Sree Balaji Medical College by simple random sampling and a structured observational checklist which was developed after extensive review of literature. Feasibility was established by administering the tool on six alcoholic patients. The tool was found reliable(r=0.90) .data collected was analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results of the study revealed that level of wellness of alcoholic patients is poor before administration of supportive psychotherapy. The mean post test wellness score 13.00 was significantly higher than the mean pre test score 20.84. The t value to evaluate the effectiveness of recreation therapy was found to be highly significant (6.91). There is no significant relationship of wellness score with selected demographic variable by chi-square. Therefore need for wellness among alcoholic patients is highly recognized. The present study concludes that supportive psychotherapy was found to be effective in improving the level of wellness among alcoholic patients.

In an engine, its purpose is to transfer force from expanding gas in the cylinder to the crankshaft via a piston rod and/or connecting rod. As an important part in an engine, piston endures the cyclic gas pressure and the inertial forces at work, and this working condition may cause the fatigue damage of piston, such as piston side wear, piston head/crown cracks and so on. The investigations indicate that the greatest stress appears on the upper end of the piston and stress concentration is one of the mainly reason for fatigue failure. This work describes the stress distribution on piston of internal combustion engine by using FEA. The FEA is performed by CAD and CAE software. The main objectives are to investigate and analyze the thermal stress and mechanical stress distribution of piston at the real engine condition during combustion process. The work also describes the FEA technique to predict the higher stress and critical region on the component. With using CATIA software the structural model of a piston was developed. Using ANSYS V14.5 software, simulation and stress analysis was performed.

Teaching has been one of the oldest and most respected professions in the world. The task of teacher is shaping the future of citizens and thereby society and nation. Due to respectful duty, teacher has been respectful in all society through ancient to Buddhist period. In the modern period teacher is regarded as a custodian and architect of a nation. Today, there are many duties and responsibilities of a teachers working at different level of education. Burnout is the outcome of excessive stress. Many illnesses like liver and heart disease are likely due to psychological stresses of modern life. The percentage of burnout is likely higher today. Better understanding of this stress outcome has to be promoted. The study was delimited to the thirty four governments and private degree Colleges located in territory of Himachal Pradesh and seven districts i.e. Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Una, Kangra, Shimla Chamba and Mandi of Himachal Pradesh. The investigator in the present study has adopted descriptive survey method. The population for the present study comprised teachers teaching degree classes in government and private (aided and non-aided) colleges affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University. Since, it was not possible to cover all the colleges in the State of Himachal Pradesh, stratified random sampling technique was applied, first for selection of colleges by giving due weightage to type of management, mode of appointment, location and gender and secondly to draw the sample of 546 teachers from the colleges. In the present study, the researcher used the following tools for collection of data:Burnout Inventory (BI) developed by Karuna Shankar Misra (2005). Means, S.Ds. and t-value used as a statistical techniques to analyse and interpret the data.

Education is a sector where the introduction of blockchain will bring a revolution to the way any organization perceives trust factor in the ecosystem. StudentChain is a pilot project for implementing blockchain ecosystem at the Institute level for Student Portfolio Management. The documents of students that they generate in their educational phase are approved by colleges before they are handed over to them. We can shift this process over to blockchain and capture these documents using Ethereum Network for data related storage and by using IPFS for file related storage. A Digital Signature by the appropriate authorities added after proof of consensus by means of biometrics will enhance the trust level among the stakeholders of the ecosystem.

In the present day scenario, as the needs of people are increasing day by day and similarly we see garbage bins or dustbins placed at public places are overflowing due to the increase in the waste everyday. Such conditions creates unhygienic conditions and produces bad smell that leads to deadly diseases and human illness. Hence to avoid such condition and to reduce the human illness we are planning to design "IOT Based Waste Management For Smart Cities". In the proposed system there will be multiple dustbins located throughout the city or campus which are provided with low cost embedded device which helps in tracking the level of the garbage bins and also separates the garbage which reduces the human efforts and reduces the mixing of the garbage. An unique ID will be provided for every dustbin so that it will be easy to identify whether garbage bin is full. When the level reaches the threshold limit, the device will transmit the level along with the unique ID provided. These details can be accessed by the concerned authorities from their place with the help of Internet and an immediate action can be made to clean the dustbins.

The tribal practice of sending away the spirits of the dead permanently to their abode in the other world, a few days after the burial, represents the final stage of a long chain of funeral rites. Since tribal religion mainly revolves around the concept of ancestor worship, and ancestor worship is a combination of beliefs and practices concerned with the spirit of the dead, funeral ceremonies acquire special significance.
