Traffic controlling is very important in the present scenario. Present traffic controlling system fails to control the traffic at busy junctions. Traffic signal controlling is probably the best option to control the traffic as it is very convenient to control the traffic. In this paper PLC (programmable logic controller) plays a vital role in controlling the traffic automatically. The system controls the traffic based upon the density and flow of the vehicles. By using sensors it calculates the density of the vehicles at all the lanes and prioritize the signals according to their density. According to the logic operations and program given to the PLC it controls the traffic by giving appropriate signals based upon their density. If the traffic flow is more then green signal is given to that lane and if the traffic flow is less then the red signal is given to that lane.

Millions of waste and other debris are filling our oceans at an exponential rate. This situation is catastrophic it has now garnered worldwide attention. Despite the catastrophic conditions, little to now robotics research is conducted in the identification, collection, sorting, and removal of waste from oceans and rivers and at the macro- and micro-scale. Only a scarce amount of individual efforts can be found from private sources. This paper presents a cursory view of the current plastic water waste catastrophe, associated robot research, and other efforts currently underway to address the issue. As well as the call that as a community, we must wait no longer to address the problem. Surely there is much potential for robots to help to meet the challenges posed by the enormity of this problem. In India, garbage disposal has become a huge cause of disturbance. This project solves two of the major problems. This machine is consisting of a net like structure which collect & remove the wastage from water bodies. It is also used to remove oil from the upper layer of the river. This is powered by solar powered motors using photovoltaic cells. The use of this project will be made in rivers, ponds, lakes and other water bodies to clean the surface water. This system will be also helpful for Kaveri and government projects for cleaning rivers from trashes like dhotis, flower offerings and other wastes.

Ivor Gurneys (1890-1937) poems, songs and music are considered to be churned out of the strife of the Great War, which had left deep psychological scars on his schizophrenic mind. Yet, Gurney can hardly be classified as a pacifist, anti-war poet like Owen or Sassoon. Rather, his poetry mingles the notes of patriotic pro-war poets with the pathos of death and loss. Moreover, his long strife with mental illness had broadened the metaphor of war to a considerable extent it was no longer merely an external conflict with armed combatants; it became a prolonged battle with ones inner self. Ironically, Gurney turns back reminiscently to the memories of war as those which offered him a rare repose of mental stability something which he lacked both in the pre as well as the post-war years. Amidst these tribulations, he succeeded in contributing to a new idiom of lyricism and an indigenous pastoral/ elegiac tradition of music which immortalised a distinctively English world of haunting, everlasting beauty the Cotswolds, the Severn valley and forests of Gloucestershire. Gurney radicalisation was a return to the roots. Like Wordsworth and Yeats before him and like Auden, Larkin and Hughes who would be successors it was the most eternal in nature which was discovered as brimming with possibilities of a new flowering, a new harvest. The paper would deal with this persistent note of irony in Gurneys images in which the most rooted visions of localities of England become vantage points for the dawn of a new, humane consciousness.

for the past few years water scarcity is the major problem in our society. The level of the water has become down, so many bore well has been dug and it is left uncovered properly which has became the death pits of many children and has taken the lives of many children. The time taken to rescue a child from an bore well takes about more than 72 hours .Due to an lack of an proper oxygen and humidity, the lives of an many child couldnt be saved. Recent survey says that about 10 of them 3 were rescued after a long process. This has became challenging nowadays. The main aim of this technique is to rescue to an child safe within an short period. so we use an ultra slim rescue stick for an rescue made up of steel diameter is about 20mm .on which the sensors are placed above the stick at the top. The ultra slim rescue stick is inserted into the hole and goes down below the child and it is changes into an L shape , the child is rescued safety without an major injury. The ultra slim rescue stick can be extended based upon the distance. The time taken up for the rescue process is less than the conventional ones. No need of digging another parallel hole

This paper describes a shunt active power filter with a control system based on the instantaneous active and reactive power method (p-q method), and obtained its performance through simulation results with different types of loads. This method has been broadly used to generate the reference for compensation current in active power filters (APFs). Harmonic control stratagem is applied to compensate the current harmonics in the system. The simulations are passed out with PI controller for the control strategies for different voltage condition. Under balanced and unbalanced voltage condition it is found that the instantaneous active and reactive power component has a better harmonic compensation performance.

ABSTRACT Narrating a story in an effective way is always been a challenge. In case of narrating illness it cannot be trouble-free. Various human conditions provide various meanings of illness. Illness offers ample number of perceptions and connotations. Arthur Kleinman, a prominent American Psychiatrist, in his theoretical work, The Illness Narratives, views illness in a wider perspective. He states, by invoking the term illness, I mean to conjure up the innate human experience of symptoms and sufferings. Illness refers to how the sick person and the members of the family or wider social network perceive, live with, and respond to symptoms and disability. Thus illness becomes part and parcel of human life and suffering. It moulds the thoughts of the society; manipulates and gears human life, invades peoples thoughts and inhabits their memories. It occurs often in conversations of the sick and in the people surrounded them. A persons health and mental conditions change according to the despotism of illness and mould lives, thoughts and creative processes. In a nutshell illness more often mirror the society. Illness in its wider sense represents suffering, misery, pain, death, the question of existence and so on. On the other hand it also lays a hand on inter/intra personal human relationships, empathy, ethics and care. When illness holds its influence on human life, unsurprisingly it reflects in literature, which in turn reflects human embeddedness with illness. A patient is not only an object of medical query, but also a narrator of suffering. Some narrators can effectively represent the sufferings of the ill, but it is not effortless. This paper tries to understand how illness is represented in Jodi Picoults novel My Sisters Keeper. It is also intended to go deep into the techniques used to narrate illness.

Traditionally Exporting has been seen as a way to increase turnover of individual enterprises when Internationalization of SMEs begins with. Exporting, as the traditional way to internationalize, is still very important, but during the last decade, internationalization has become a much more differentiated business activity of crucial importance for achieving competitiveness. Foreign partnerships, foreign investments, subsidiaries and cross border clustering represent viable ways to facilitate exchanges of knowledge and technology and to strengthen international business strategies of SMEs. Such international activities cover both outward (e.g. sales/export) and inward (e.g. import or access to knowledge) activities along the value chain. Exporting firms are also often involved in a range of inward and related activities that interact with each other. The role of management in technological advancements, quality related with product manufacturing, process capability, application of operational knowledge of the staff, lived in abroad and having people with foreign experience will increase the pace of internationalization. This paper underlines that internationalization consists of a broad range of activities that contribute to the development of enterprises' competitiveness. Competitiveness is the role which can be developed by the management. However, this holistic approach has not been adopted sufficiently by policy measures aiming to encourage internationalization and at increasing firms' competitiveness. Statistical approaches such as, Factor analysis, multiple regression, Man whitney U test and correlation are used for finding the results through SPSS software.
