Premature contraction of the uterus is the very first sign of premature labor, which is followed by progressive changes in cervix such as effacement and dilatation. Four or more uterine contractions with or without pain per hour is a major biophysical predictor of preterm labor. According to the WHO statistics, every year, an estimated 15 million babies are born preterm and this number is rising. Although tocolytic agents are used to suppress premature contractions and prevent preterm labor, it is not proven to be efficacious in preventing preterm birth or reducing neonatal mortality or morbidity. In the United States, preterm delivery is the leading cause of neonatal morbidity and is the most common reason for hospitalization during pregnancy. The rate of preterm delivery (before 37 weeks' gestation) has been declining since 2007. Clinical diagnosis of preterm labor is made if there are regular contractions and concomitant cervical change. Less than 10% of women with a clinical diagnosis of preterm labor will deliver within seven days of initial presentation. Women with a history of spontaneous preterm delivery are 1.5 to two times more likely to have a subsequent preterm delivery. Antenatal progesterone is associated with a significant decrease in subsequent preterm delivery in certain pregnant women. Current recommendations are to prescribe vaginal progesterone in women with a shortened cervix and no history of preterm delivery, and to use progesterone supplementation regardless of cervical length in women with a history of spontaneous preterm delivery.

The method of teaching in ancient India was called the Pathshala system or the traditional method. During the Vedic period, schools of this method were quite prevalent. But in post-independence India some methods were refined and some methods were discontinued to influence education. Notable among them are Bhandarkar method, textbook method, direct method, interview method, structured method, coordination method and play method of teaching. These methods influence student learning.

The population of India is fast increasing so is the prevalence of anaemia. Its incidence is very common in a developing country like India due to the increased rate of poverty and among the rich due to westernisation of food culture and lack of importance given to the nutritious food. Ethics in business is of key importance in the existence of companies in numerous countries and regions. The Business Ethics are the basic moral ground rules by which corporates run their business. Business Ethics is about what is right and what is wrong behavior with the preference to choose right over wrong. Taking into account the aforementioned circumstances, the goal of our paper is to identify the scale and scope of the use of Business Ethics in Indian company. We select one company for our study named Iron Triangle Limited. Our research has confirmed that Iron Triangle Ltd. use business ethics in their operations. Business Ethics refers to the standards and practices performed in the workplace place setting. It includes Societal standards of right and wrong, Business ethical standards and circumstances and legal standards. Business ethics are more rigid than in personal areas.

Abstract: Buddha dharma dar?ana has its origin in opposing animal sacrifice, the performance of several rites and rituals to attain heaven and divinity. To find peace in life one needs the right path, where Buddha spoke of the eightfold path. The talk of divinity, even if is found to have been accommodated in a certain sphere, it is never at the cost of human welfare on the socio-empiric front. There is a religious prescription not only for the sacrifice of animals and a considerable amount of eatables but also for man-child to attain spiritual excellence. Not only the rigidity of j?tiv?da (casteism) is rationally unacceptable but, at the practical level, the suggestion of class rigidity is found to be most unworkable and immoral, causing serious damage to social cohesion and solidarity. Buddha is undoubted, critical of this irrational move. From this point of view, the philosophy of Buddha seems to be the logical culmination of the underdeveloped rather inarticulate philosophical position.

The Nachni is an integral part of Bengali culture and, more generally, Indian culture. The community as a whole, however, shows a striking lack of recognition for this type of art. Conversely, these women, these dancers, are often stigmatised and looked down upon to the point where the women have come to view their profession as something to be ashamed of. The purpose of this research is to learn about the lives of the Nachnis, a group of socially and economically disadvantaged women in the Purulia district. Primary anthropological tools and techniques have been used to complete the study. The research shows that Nachnis are on the cusp of ascending from the lower socioeconomic class to the upper lower socioeconomic class, a sign that they are on the road to positive economic and social development.

Women have an important place in any society marked by tradition or modernity. Their contribution to the innovative perspective of the society along with maintaining the prevalence condition is of vital importance. And hence their proper place in any social cultural matrix needs to be explored. On non-tribal women many works of sociological interests are available. But it is still rare to find more valid and exhaustive literature on tribal women. Such a background to enthused me to scientifically explore the status of tribal women. In spite of all the government plans and women welfare schemes the benefits have not reached the tribal women. They cannot be regarded as being emancipated and free from the constraints of age old customs and traditions. It seems to be essential to save them from exploitation, to enrich their social status and to achieve their glory as respected citizens of India.

The present work is to formulate and evaluate the ointment of neem and turmeric extract for antimicrobial activity and anti fungal activity. The ethanolic extract was prepared by maceration method. The ointment base was prepared and three formulations of ointment were done by incorporating extract in the base by levigation method. All the formulation were evaluated for their physicochemical parameters like colour, odour, pH, spreadability, extrudability, consistency, diffusion study, solubility, washability. Also the formulation was evaluated for its stability at various temperature conditions which shows no change in the irritancy, spreadability and diffusion study. From three ointments, F3 was found to be the best formulation as it shows 98% drug release within 6hrs, drug content 98.8% and it shows more zone of inhibition against bacillus as compared to other three formulations.
