 Abstract

Hedging is the strategy used by investors to reduce the risk of a particular investment and to increase the returns of the investment. Hedging is done to minimize the effects of adverse price variations of stock market. Hedging can be done using financial instruments like shares, exchange traded funds, forward contracts. This paper examines the effect of hedging in stock market. This paper explains demystify the common hedging strategies used by investors and its relative effect on stock market. This paper elucidates the advantages and disadvantages of hedging in stock market. This paper also explicates about different hedging strategy and its impact in stock market. Hedging is basically done by the investor to protect their respective portfolios from the unpredictable market conditions. To protect their portfolio investors are required to pay money called premium. Depending upon the type of investment different hedging strategies are used by the investors.  Abstract

This paper is about describing the present problem of educated unemployment in Kerala and the causes and effects of it and also pinpoint the various schemes adopted by government for solving it. Educated Unemployment is a situation where a person cannot find a job suitable to his qualification. Sometimes educated people are underemployed or unemployed when qualification does not match the job. Though Kerala has achieved much progress with regard to the spread of education, she has not been able to solve the problem of unemployment , especially educated unemployment among both men and women. The main objective of this paper is to analyze the extend, causes and effects of educated unemployment in Kerala and also evaluate the policies and various schemes associated with it.

 Abstract

Power quality disturbances lead to severe problems in industries and electrical grids. To mitigate PQ problems, the accurate detection and classification of the possible disturbances are essential. A large number of studies exist in this field. The first research step in these studies is to obtain several distorted signals to test the classification systems. In this regard, the most common trend is the generation of signals from mathematical models. In the literature, several models with significant differences are available. However, there is no integral model that considers all types of distortions. In this dissertation work, an integral mathematical model of power quality disturbances will be developed based on the models available in the literature. The model will include new types of combined disturbances. Almost all types of power quality disturbances will be considered under study. Further, this integral mathematical model of various power quality disturbances will be implemented for the generation of power quality disturbances using MATLAB environment. By using this model various power quality disturbances will be generated in a fast and automatic way. This model aims to facilitate future studies, supporting researchers in the modelling stage

 Abstract

Multipliers are major blocks in most digital and high-performance systems such as Microprocessors, Signal processing Circuits, FIR filters, etc. In the present scenario, Fast multipliers with less power consumption are leading with their performance. Wallace tree multiplier with carrying select adder (CSLA) is one of the fastest multipliers but utilizes more area. To improve the performance of this multiplier, CSLA is replaced by a binary excess1 counter (BEC) which not only reduces the area at the gate level but also reduces power consumption. Area and power calculations for the Wallace tree multiplier using CSLA with BEC are giving good results compared to the regular Wallace tree multiplier.

 Abstract

From the beginning of human existence, man has been acquainted with plants and used them in various ways over the years. This relationship between plants and man has grown and many plants began to be used as medicine. Nature has given our country a huge wealth of medicinal plants; therefore, India is often referred to as the Medicinal Garden of the world. India has a unique position in the world where a number of traditional medicine systems are known namely, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homeopathy, Yoga and Naturopathy. Medicinal plants are an important part of research development in the pharmaceutical industry. Such research focuses on the classification and direct use of active ingredients, or on the development of slow-acting drugs, or in the active testing of natural products to produce effective pharmaceutical compounds. The use of medicinal plants is an important source of treatment, treatment and prevention of many diseases and is often guided by the information collected from the direct relationship between humans and nature. The main purpose of the current review is to search and collect information about traditional medicinal plants with potential therapeutic activity. This review article also includes the important information about its components and the chemical elements present in that particular plant.

This will help other new service providers as well as will determine the effectiveness of various products. As well we have created a powerful communication system for the users to interact among themselves, and also with the service the service providers around the world. HOME SERVICE has a very wide scope in terms of interconnecting the online available product, services and bringing the best information to the knowledge of the users. This project presents an authentic database of the service providers present in various cities according to the location in which the service providers are having their shops so that users can find the service providers nearest to their region. Uses can select any region and find the concerned shop and send a message to the service provider to take an appointment. The registered service providers can see the upcoming appointments in their profile. They can confirm the appointment or cancel it. The user will receive the corresponding message.

There is no escaping the fact that, regardless of whether the retailer is in the textile, grocery, or mobile phone sectors, they must brand their services. As a retailer, you need to know what your customers think about your shop brands. Attempts to discover well-known and well-marketed brands that are selling substandard quality products are the focus of this study project An investigation of the relationships between store image, customer happiness, brand attributes of the store and patron loyalty is the goal of this study. To put it another way, Pipee's lesbian relationship with Astha was not an expression of Astha's feminism, but rather a byproduct of it. Finally, the novel retains its heteronormativity. With Astha's restlessness, she transforms into a lesbian and becomes careless with everything, even her children and husband, and Peepalika becomes a lesbian widow. She's always looking for a way to make an impact in the community. Getting married makes life easier for Astha, but she begins to feel lonely and dissatisfied after a while. She was raised in a regular middle-class family's traditional home environment. Astha is lonely at home because her husband is always away on work. She decides to pursue a career in education.  Abstract

The present investigation was carried to study the different plant extracts,plant oils, organic amendments and bacterial antagonists against anthracnose disease of papaya. Five isolates of G. papayii were isolated from the diseased fruits,I4 was the most virulent. Anthracnose caused by Gloeosporium papayii is considered to the important disease in papaya growing regions. Among the treatments of plant extracts, plant oils and organic amendments, neem Leaf extract, neem oil cake and cinnamon oil recorded the least mycelial growth.

 Abstract

FSO (Free Space Optics) has been developed as technology for highspeed Broadband communication system which act as an alternative for RF technology. The FSO system is investigated for 1550 nm wavelength. The proposed system consists of base stations which are positioned at a distance of 500-1400m from each other so that the number of base stations can be reduced and the coverage area can be improved and also analyse the bit error rate, Q factor of the proposed system . Further to improve the quality of FSO communication and coverage area by different filters like Gaussian filter, Rectangular filter, Butterworth filter, Trapezoidal filter under Fog condition conditions and to analyse which filter improves the coverage area to maximum.
