 Abstract

The two 'E's, economy and education hold the key to development and growth of any country. Education plays an important role to enhance the state's economy (Idris, et al., 2012). India has the third-largest higher education system in the world and comes after China. The Indian education system consists of three levels beginning from Primary followed by Secondary at school level and then Higher Education which includes three years of graduation, two years of Post-graduation and four years of Doctoral studies. The type of institutions that provide higher education include central universities, state universities, deemed universities, institutes of national importance, private universities, and colleges affiliated to the University. Education is basic to explore and refine the human potential for all round development of an individual and country as well. Time to time education policies are framed to give direction to the education system as per the requirement of present and future. India had three National Education Policies in 1968, 1986 and 2020 respectively. The latest one is the National Education Policy--2020. The world is growing with a faster pace due to rapid development of science and technology. It has brought prototype change in the lifestyle and social processes as a whole. Changing scenario has brought more challenges along with opportunities to live in. To keep pace with this and to face challenges at global level is exigent and formidable for students. Acquisition of different skills and knowledge-- and interdisciplinary approach towards the world are needed to the students to deal with changing situations. The new education policy 2020 proposes to implement numerous strategic changes in the area of education like research, innovation, infrastructure, multidisciplinary approach, etc. to enhance the development of India. National Education Policy (NEP 2020) aims at exploring the role of Science Education in development of 21st Century Learning Skills which have been recommended with the intent to prepare the learners to face the demanding situations which may vary with spatial and temporal scale. Transforming the education system is an attempt to change the world and face the upcoming challenges. If the recommendations of the policy implemented properly with the same intention and spirit, it can make India one of the leading countries in science and technology in the world and will ensure more opportunities at Global level.

 Abstract

Understanding the distribution of methane source and sink regions is important to quantitatively assess the observed changes in atmospheric concentrations and climate change. The Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite-1 (GOSAT-1), is the world's first Earth observation satellite dedicated to greenhouse gas monitoring which measures the densities of carbon dioxide and methane from 56,000 locations on the Earth's atmosphere. In this regard, GOSAT-1 data from 2010 to 2018 has been analyzed to understand the methane spatiotemporal variability, seasonality and source and sink regions of methane concentration. During the 2010 to 2015 period, growth in atmospheric methane is attributed mostly to an increase in emissions from India, China and areas with large tropical wetlands. Maximum surface flux emits from India (4.756 Tg/y) and China (6.898 Tg/ y). Compared to other regions, China and India have a high source of methane. The hydroxyl radical is the main contributor to the methane's sink (troposphere OH). In India, CH4 concentration is maximum in September, and the minimum is in February/March. The tropical wetland or agricultural or combination of both of the rising global methane 2008 in words. The study helped in understanding the methane spatiotemporal characteristics, source and sink regions of methane, and budgeting the methane concentrations.

 Abstract

The aim of present study is to identify different chemical constituents. To study different activities of plant. To fabricate different types of formulation. Medicinal plants have been used in the treatment of various diseases as they possess potential pharmacological activities including antineoplastic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesics, anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, antidiarrheal and other activities. Phytoconstituents individually or in the combination, determine the therapeutic value of a medicinal plant. Alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolics, tannins, saponins, steroids, glycosides, terpenes etc. are some of the important phytochemicals with diverse biological activities. The pharmacological activity of a plantcan be predicted by the identification of the phytochemicals. Currently, phytochemicals are determined by various modern techniques, but the conventional qualitative tests are still popular for the preliminary phytochemical screening of plants.

 Abstract

The study indicated that the surrounding area of Jayashree Chemicals Pvt. Limited, Ganjam, Orissa a caustic soda plant released huge amount of mercury into the environment in the past 4-5 decades. Evaporated mercury from the Mercury cell house contaminated the surrounding biota leading to elevated mercury levels beyond prescribed limit was the major concern during analysis period. The effluent of a chlor-alkali industry (M/S Jayashree chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Ganjam) showed significant variation and difference in action at different concentrations is clearly evident from tables and figures explained in the result chapter. The highest concentration (concentration Z, 3.8% Effluent) showed typical mercurial toxic symptoms, beyond which survival of the alga became extremely difficult and at times, impossible under laboratory controlled conditions. The alga, Westiellopsis prolifica, Janet is more tolerant and less sensitive to toxicants. The analysis of variance ratio tests and correlation coefficient analysis carried out for all parameters studied indicate clearly that the toxicant, effluent containing mercury, is extremely toxic to blue-green alga. At higher concentration, all most all the growth parameters studied showed declining trend in exposed cultures, when compared to control cultures. At lower concentration of effluent (0.45% effluent), all the growth parameters showed an increasing trend in the exposed culture, when compared to control culture. Hence, it can be concluded that the toxicant (mercury contained) showed dichotomous behavior. At lower concentrations, the toxicant is growth regulatory and at higher concentration, the toxicant is growth inhibitory. The observed changes in the exposed cultures when compared to control cultures were only due to the toxicant, effluent. Hence, it can be concluded that the damage caused in the exposed system, at higher concentration, was only due to the toxicant and most important component of the effluent being mercury. Care should be taken to treat the effluent before discharge in to natural environments.

 Abstract

The process of making medical decisions frequently entails intricate ethical predicaments that necessitate careful contemplation and moral resolution. The paper commences by providing a comprehensive elucidation of the idea of reflective equilibrium, along with its historical evolution as a prominent method employed in the realms of moral and political philosophy. The use of reflective equilibrium in medical decision-making is then shown through detailed case studies of ethical dilemmas that often come up in healthcare settings. The aforementioned case studies encompass a diverse array of circumstances, including but not limited to end-of-life care, organ transplantation, resource allocation in times of pandemics, assisted reproductive technologies, and the issue of informed consent within clinical trials. This paper investigates the process of comparing and evaluating intuitions in relation to known ethical principles, including autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice, in order to reach a state of reflective equilibrium. This paper critically evaluates the benefits and limits associated with the application of reflective equilibrium in the field of medical ethics. Furthermore, this research examines the importance of attaining reflective equilibrium in the context of medical decision-making, highlighting its capacity to provide healthcare professionals and policymakers with a clear and coherent framework for addressing ethical challenges. In summary, the utilization of reflective equilibrium in the context of medical decision-making offers a potentially fruitful approach for addressing intricate ethical quandaries.

 Abstract

Scintillation counters have been widely used in particle detection. Particle detection suffers from a serious difficulty i.e. pile- up-effects caused due to the presence of backgrounds (non ?? events.) and high rate effects. The study of background level in the ??(958) mass region is very interesting and helpful in developing the technique to avoid the pile-up-effects. In this paper we have presented some results on the study of the background level in the ??(958) mass region produced in the ?-p-> ??n interaction near its production threshold. The yield curve corresponding to the minimum value of ?2 (14.84) of very high confidence level (CL) which is the best for the data and hence it can explain the background level.

 Abstract

The aim of present study was to carry out Pharmacognostic and physicochemical analysis of Celastrus paniculatus seeds. (Family; Celastraceae). The present study deals with Pharmacognostic characters as identification parameters of the seeds which were subjected to Macroscopic and Microscopic studies. Phyto-physicochemical studies were done by using WHO recommended parameters and Thin layer Chromatography of the seeds sample was also tested. The microscopy study revealed the presence of calcium oxalate crystals, stone cell, oil globules and aleurone grains etc. Macroscopic study shows orange red crusty aril, a few roughly three sided being convex on the sides and other more or less flat side, surface generally smooth and hard; colour, light to dark brown; odour unpleasant; taste bitter. Physiochemical parameters such as ash values, extractive values, foreign organic matter, TLC analysis were also determined. Preliminary phytochemical screening showed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, sterols, terpenoids. The Phytochemical and Physiochemical analysis of the Celastrus paniculatus seed is useful in standardization for quality, purity and sample identification.

 Abstract

Enterprise network is a network group or single network with one administrative control in an enterprise. An autonomous system (AS) is a network collection or single with administrative domain in an internet. An autonomous system contain a global different number called Autonomous system number (ASN).ASN is a unique number assigned to each AS which provides identifier for the system. Within an autonomous system, nodes communicate with one other using protocol called Interior gateway protocol(IGP).An autonomous system share and communicate route with another autonomous system using Border Gateway Protocol(BGP).BGP is an inter autonomous system routing protocol nodes in one autonomous system connect with other autonomous system.BGP is a path based protocol for routing to find efficient route from source to destination and it take routing decision based on the routing procedure and policies. From the autonomous system one router acts as border router communication information of route and create routing table using TCP connection. The border router advertises path and information of routing to its neighbor autonomous system. This research paper contains autonomous system and detail review of BGP protocol and analyzes the two different scenario contains two autonomous system with BGP protocol enabled configuration. The simulation study is conducted using OPNET simulator. Two different case studies have been created with varying parameter. For the first scenario, six BGP enabled router and links are used with various BGP parameter and specifically local preference attribute used for traffic tuning to find the network operation. For the second scenario, Eight BGP enabled router and links are used with various BGP configuration to find the result. It is strongly recommended that BGP protocol provides optimal route to a destination in an enterprise network.

 Abstract

The office of the Governor has a long history, though none too pleasant. Its colonial origin ethos and bureaucratic background naturally occasioned animated discussions in the Constituent Assembly on such aspect as the appointment, assigned to him a somewhat complex role - he was made a component of the State apparatus as well as a link between the Union and the federating unit, the latter in particular investing him with " a significance for national integration and for the preservation of national standards." Every state in India has a governor, according to the Indian Constitution. According to Article 153, there must be a governor for each state. The 7th Constitutional Amendment Act of 1956 made it possible for the same individual to be appointed as governor of two or more states under particular circumstances. The Governor is the state's top executive. However, like the President of India, he only has nominal or titular authority. On the other hand, the Governor also represents the Central Government, which implies that his position has a dual function.

 Abstract

The research is a deep study of the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX), which represent the market sentiments of the S & P 500 Index (SPX) over a period of 33 years. It evaluates how the two indexes perform in the stock market crash and how reliable VIX is in predicting market sentiments. The research distributes the market rally in two forms, and one is a trust rally, when investors are happy to see the market in a stable form, and investors' sentiments are positive towards the stock market. Second is a fear rally, where investors' sentiments are negative, and their outlook is bearish for various reasons. It observes the pattern of rallies, like the longest trust or fear rally, in which year and its duration. The research analyzes data to reach a meaningful conclusion and various inferences that can be drawn from the study of historical data.
