 Abstract

Background and Aim - Dental anxiety is a ubiquitous issue affecting both adults and children around the world. The prevalence of dentally petrified children differs by population, ranging from 3 to 55%. Dental anxiety appears to be significantly influenced by age and gender, with females being more likely than males to experience dental anxiety. There aren't many scales in the literature that focus solely on children's perceptions of their dental visit, dentist, and dental treatment. Thus, we aim to assess dental anxiety in children based on their own perceptions. Materials and Methods- This cross-sectional study was conducted among 6-13-year-old school going children from Bhopal city. Study population included 397 children and questionnaire consisting of 18 questions under 6 categories was distributed after obtaining the consent. Results- Our results revealed that child's perceptions towards dental treatment varies with the advancement of their age. We observed least mean dental anxiety scores in 6-7-year age group while highest in 12-13 year age group.

 Abstract

This research study discusses the versatile nature of global recessions, outlining their causes, implications, and strategies for recovery. It delves into factors such as financial crises, declining consumer spending, trade contractions, business investment decline, monetary and fiscal policy changes, commodity price shocks, credit crunches, housing market collapses, and geopolitical events, all of which contribute to economic downturns. The consequences of global recessions, including unemployment, bankruptcies, reduced investment, financial instability, and budget pressures, are examined. The paper proposes a recovery plan that encompasses fiscal stimulus, monetary policy adjustments, financial sector stability, trade facilitation, and support for small businesses, labor market reforms, social safety nets, international coordination, debt relief, long-term investment, and regulatory reforms. The importance of tailored strategies, transparency, equity, and collaboration is emphasized for a comprehensive and resilient recovery from global recessions. The abstract concludes by underlining the need to draw lessons from history, adapt to changing economic landscapes, and remain agile in policymaking to promote stability and prosperity.

 Abstract

By using HPLC to test both Remogliflozin and Teneligliptin at the same time, a quick and easy-to-understand method was made. This method uses chromatographic separation with a 250 cm x 4.6 mm x 5 m symmetrically packed C18 Grace Column. The mobile phase was made up of Sodium bisulfate and methanol in a ratio of 60:40, with a flow rate of 1 mL/min, a pH of 4.3, and room temperature. 245 nm was used to measure UV.It was decided that the limits on recoveries, linearity, and quantification were all within a range that was acceptable. The results of the evaluation were good enough. The method that was made was clearly good enough for regular analysis of drug formulations. The suggested method was checked to make sure it met the requirements of ICH Q2 (R1).

 Abstract

Sumicidin, the fungicide cum insecticide showed significant difference in action at different concentrations on a blue-green alga, is well evident from the tables and figures described in the result chapter. At higher concentration of the fungicide and higher exposure period, drastic effects on the blue-green alga were observed. At the highest concentration (Conc. Z) of the toxicant, the alga showed typical toxic symptoms, beyond which survival of the alga becomes extremely difficult and at times impossible under laboratory control conditions. The analysis of variance ratio tests and correlation coefficient analysis carried out for all parameters studied indicated clearly that the fungicide cum insecticide, Sumicidin is extremely toxic to blue-green alga. In the present investigation, a graded series of concentrations of the fungicide, Sumicidin was prepared to evaluate the toxic effects of the Sumicidin on the blue-green alga. With the increase in the concentration of the toxicant the percent survival decreased and hundred percent death was noticed at 1.87 mg.l-1 of Sumicidin with in a period of 15 days. The maximum allowable concentration (MAC) recorded for this alga for 15 days exposure was 0.31ml l-1. The optical density study and the dry weight analysis indicated that the toxicant Sumicidin is deadly toxic. Sumicidin did not show any dichotomous behavior. Complete bleaching of the algal mass inside the test solution was observed. At higher concentration of the fungicide and at higher exposure period, bleaching of the filaments and total chlorosis of the filaments were observed. The exposed alga could not recover in recovery studies, even after prolonged recovery period. This indicated that the toxicant, Sumicidin caused permanent damage to the exposed algal system. Hence, it can be safely concluded that the damage caused in exposed system was only due to the toxicant. The present work was designed to study the effects of the fungicide, Sumicidin, on growth of the blue-green alga, Anabaena cylindrica, Lemm.

 Abstract

As education is the primary source of economic and social advancement, it is generally understood that each nation must have a futuristic and visionary education strategy. Different nations have implemented various education systems at the school and college levels to make them successful while taking into consideration their traditions and cultures. The NEP 2020, which was approved by the Indian Union Cabinet on July 29, 2020, outlines the goals for India's new educational system. The new policy has taken the place of the previous, National Policy on Education, 1986. The strategy gives a systematic framework for education ranging from elementary to higher education in urban and remote regions of India. It also includes career training. By 2022, the policy expects to change the Indian educational system. The New Education Policy 2020 aims to make high-quality education accessible to everyone to transform our nation into a vibrant and equitable knowledge society. It will cause a paradigm shift in India's educational system and change it into one that is equitable, modern, as well as progressive. This chapter focuses on the policy's main suggestions, its notable characteristics, including schooling and higher education, predicted results, its merits, and any issues that need to be resolved.

 Abstract

Market use electronic devices to communicate to consumer. Abuse of a dominant position in digital markets refers to the act of a dominant company using its significant influence to engage in anti-competitive behaviour. Not only does this affect competitors seeking to establish themselves, but it also has far reaching implications for consumer wellbeing and the health of the market as whole. The digital economy rapid growth has created a previously unthinkable potential for innovation, convenience, and connectivity. Along with these advantages, though, worries have been made regarding the abuse of dominating positions by some businesses in the online marketplace. Addressing this issue requires a collaborative effort from governments, regulatory bodies, industry stakeholders, and society as a whole. Effective solutions encompass robust regulatory frameworks, transparent practices, ethical considerations, user empowerment, and innovative technological approaches. By taking comprehensive measures, it is possible to mitigate digital market abuse and cultivate an environment that fosters fair competition, privacy protection, and the positive evolution of digital interactions.

 Abstract

Recent advancements in smart cloud computing have yielded numerous advantages, particularly through innovations like the Internet of Things (IoT), which interconnects ordinary objects via the Internet. These IoT devices, equipped with sensors and actuators, collect and transmit data. However, maintaining the confidentiality of users' medical data is paramount, as any breach could endanger lives. To address this, attribute-oriented encryption (AOE) is commonly used for data security and access control. Yet, conventional AOE's processing demands are substantial. To tackle this, an efficient security approach merges AOE with Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to safeguard sensitive medical information and financial data. For cloud-based data encryption, AOE is a suitable choice for one-to-many communication and access control. Cloud servers can employ FHE to process encrypted data directly. Additionally, elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), known for its high security and compact key size, is integrated. This hybrid AOE-FHE-ECC approach offers reduced computational and storage burdens compared to existing methods. The proposed approach's security is supported by the Decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman postulate. Experimentation reveals its superiority, especially for resource-constrained devices, compared to traditional AOE.

Health administrators, work throughout the world to provide proper care to individuals when they are unhealthy and prevent disease. Availability and safe medication administration practices are the basic care provided to all the patients. Medications are chemicals that are intended to cure, prevent disease and relieve symptoms, diagnosis of certain illnesses as well as early treatment. They are prescribed and administered to patients with the intention of achieving results that improve a patient's quality of life while minimizing suffering. Nurses have inadequate medication dosage calculation skills and this is a topic of concern. In the clinical setting, nurses are having rights of medication administration to the patients. Although providing medication is a multidisciplinary process, nurses take on almost all the responsibility for administering and controlling the medication used. In this study we found out that out of the total 160 samples, 56.5% of the staff nurses had moderate knowledge [<50%], 31.25% had adequate knowledge [51-75%] and 11.25% had inadequate knowledge [<50%] regarding the medication dosage calculation. The study also indicates that there is no correlation between the medication dosage calculation skills with selected demographic variables of staff nurses.

 Abstract

The two 'E's, economy and education hold the key to development and growth of any country. Education plays an important role to enhance the state's economy (Idris, et al., 2012). India has the third-largest higher education system in the world and comes after China. The Indian education system consists of three levels beginning from Primary followed by Secondary at school level and then Higher Education which includes three years of graduation, two years of Post-graduation and four years of Doctoral studies. The type of institutions that provide higher education include central universities, state universities, deemed universities, institutes of national importance, private universities, and colleges affiliated to the University. Education is basic to explore and refine the human potential for all round development of an individual and country as well. Time to time education policies are framed to give direction to the education system as per the requirement of present and future. India had three National Education Policies in 1968, 1986 and 2020 respectively. The latest one is the National Education Policy--2020. The world is growing with a faster pace due to rapid development of science and technology. It has brought prototype change in the lifestyle and social processes as a whole. Changing scenario has brought more challenges along with opportunities to live in. To keep pace with this and to face challenges at global level is exigent and formidable for students. Acquisition of different skills and knowledge-- and interdisciplinary approach towards the world are needed to the students to deal with changing situations. The new education policy 2020 proposes to implement numerous strategic changes in the area of education like research, innovation, infrastructure, multidisciplinary approach, etc. to enhance the development of India. National Education Policy (NEP 2020) aims at exploring the role of Science Education in development of 21st Century Learning Skills which have been recommended with the intent to prepare the learners to face the demanding situations which may vary with spatial and temporal scale. Transforming the education system is an attempt to change the world and face the upcoming challenges. If the recommendations of the policy implemented properly with the same intention and spirit, it can make India one of the leading countries in science and technology in the world and will ensure more opportunities at Global level.
