This study examines the transformative potential of the National Education Policy (NEP) in fostering gender equity and inclusivity through the empowerment of women via education. The analysis delves into the policy's strategic frameworks, objectives, and initiatives aimed at dismantling educational barriers and biases faced by women. By employing a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative case studies, the research highlights the NEP's commitment to creating equitable educational opportunities. Key findings indicate that the policy's emphasis on gender-sensitive pedagogy, scholarships, and female-centric educational infrastructure has significantly contributed to increased enrollment rates, retention, and academic achievements among women. Additionally, the policy fosters an inclusive environment by integrating gender studies into curricula and promoting women's leadership in educational settings. However, challenges such as societal norms, financial constraints, and rural-urban disparities persist, requiring ongoing efforts and strategic adjustments. The study underscores the critical role of education in empowering women, advocating for a holistic approach that encompasses societal change, policy support, and community engagement. It concludes that while the NEP has laid a solid foundation for gender equity in education, its full impact depends on effective implementation, monitoring, and the willingness to adapt based on feedback and changing dynamics. This research contributes to the broader discourse on gender equality, offering insights and recommendations for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders committed to empowering women through education.

Wounds typically heal through natural processes, but if an infection occurs, it can delay healing and transform the wound into a chronic ulcer known as Dustha Vrana. Bedsores, or pressure sores, are commonly seen in non-ambulatory patients, such as those with paraplegia or quadriplegia. The most common sites for these sores are the sacrococcygeal, shoulder, and occipital regions due to continuous pressure, immobilization, and malnutrition. If not properly treated, these sores can progress to Dushta Vrana (chronic wounds) and may lead to severe complications such as sepsis or osteomyelitis. In such cases, Vranashodana (purification) and Vranaropana (healing) treatments are recommended. In a recent study, a decubitus ulcer at sacrococcygeal region was treated effectively with a mixture Daruharidra churna and Madhu. This combination, applied at wound site demonstrated significant effectiveness in treating pressure sores due to its properties of Vranashodhana and Vranaropana. Thus, this treatment approach proves beneficial in managing decubitus ulcers.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a landmark milestone in Indian education system. The present paper explores education at foundation stage in HP in keeping with NEP 2020. It is a matter of pleasure to observe that after a long time our education policy has been changed. Himachal Pradesh was the first state to implement NEP2020 in the year 2021, but nothing considerable and significant has been achieved so far at the Foundation stage. In Himachal Pradesh lack of clear-cut policy and implementation plan for pre-primary education and/ or ECCE as envisaged under foundation stage of NEP-2020 is a major challenge for the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Problems include: lack of education, training, proper recruitment, teaching quality, minimum qualification for teachers in HP for being eligible for an appointment in the Preprimary classes. NEP 2020 works to build proficient teachers for better networking. So, it was thought worthwhile to study the challenges and problems for implementation of the same at foundation stage in the light of NEP-2020 and to put forth some concrete suggestions to help planners, administrators and policy makers to implement these in letter and spirit for the smooth implementation of NEP-2020 with special reference to Foundation Stage in Himachal Pradesh. A green economy is a worldwide sustainability goal. Over the last decade, India's economic growth has produced employment and improved living conditions. Urbanization is widespread, particularly in developing countries like India. UN anticipates 60% of the world's population to live in cities by 2030. The world's rural population is 90% Asian. Growing urbanization will reach 56% by 2050. The Green Economy may enhance GDP, employment, resource conservation, social harmony, and disaster preparedness. Green economics provide promise despite climate change and unsustainable development. The green economy is a popular solution to global warming, biodiversity loss, and unsustainable economic expansion. How is "green economy" defined? A green economy invests on forests, water, soil, and fish to promote long-term prosperity and end poverty. It requires governmental changes and enabling conditions to redirect public and private investments to natural capital, new sectors, and technology. Environmental protection and economic development have no "trade-off". Green economies create employment and income.

Introduction Disciplined human behaviour defines character that is necessary for achievement of organizational goals. In a school set up, educational discipline resonates with educational expectations. According to Mitchell and Bradshaw (2016), discipline guides learners towards self-control and ordered behaviour. They are therefore quite likely to achieve an ethical environment. According to Bell (2023), indiscipline among school learners is of concern worldwide. In this respect, school teachers normally apply different methods to achieve pre-determined educational goals. The headteacher directs either a disciplined or indisciplined school culture. This eventually sets the school scholastic tone that interprets the overall academic performance. Assumed to be the most educationally alert individual in a school(Rivkin, 2010), the headteacher's role is to prepare the environment for safe operations of further on-coming educational activities, key is preventing indiscipline(Bell, 2020).it is noteworthy that perceptions surrounding school indiscipline associate student behaviour . Implementing sustainable practices in rural regions is essential for ensuring environmental preservation and socio-economic stability, but numerous obstacles hinder progress. One of the most significant challenges is the limited access to financial resources, which restricts the ability of rural communities to invest in sustainable technologies as well as infrastructure. The lack of awareness and education regarding the benefits of sustainability further exacerbates the issue, as many rural inhabitants remain unaware of the long-term advantages of such practices. Infrastructural deficiencies, such as poor roads and unreliable electricity, make it difficult to implement and maintain sustainable solutions. Additionally, the deeply rooted traditional practices in these regions often lead to resistance to change, with many communities reluctant to adopt new methods. Geographic isolation also plays a crucial role in impeding the distribution and accessibility of sustainable technologies. Furthermore, the absence of strong policy support and government intervention leaves rural communities without the necessary tools and incentives to transition to sustainable practices. Overcoming these challenges requires a comprehensive approach that integrates education, policy reform, and active community engagement. Government initiatives must focus on providing financial assistance and infrastructure development, while educational programs should emphasize the long-term benefits of sustainability. Community involvement is vital to ensure the acceptance and success of sustainable practices, ultimately fostering a more resilient and environmentally conscious rural landscape.

The goal of image classification, a critical task in computer vision, is to group images into specified classes according to their visual attributes. To tackle this problem, a variety of machine learning approaches have been created, from more sophisticated models like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to traditional algorithms like k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN) and Support Vector Machines (SVM). This study tries to give a clear overview of these techniques, describing their main ideas and workings. We contrast deep learning methods that automatically derive representations from the data with conventional machine learning algorithms that rely on carefully considered feature extraction. The main objective is to provide a clear and thorough description of the various machine learning techniques used to solve the image categorization problem.

Though most ESL learners desire a "native-like" pronunciation, researchers have observed that some may want to retain features of their L1accents as a means of maintaining identity. This raises important questions about the best ways to teach L2 pronunciation. Therefore, the aims of this study were to discover how pervasive a preference for accent retention may be and to identify possible reasons learners exhibit this preference. To accomplish this, a scale was designed to assess a preference for accent retention, and potential explanatory variables were identified. Analyses of 350 ESL learners identified varying levels of a preference for accent retention, and revealed three significant predictors of this tendency. This article explores possible reasons for the observed results, including an effort to unify the findings through what is referred to as a propensity for proximal linguistic status. Some considerations for ESL pronunciation pedagogy are also discussed.

This study mainly deals with partial replacement of cement in concrete by bagasse ash at certain fixed proportions. The demand and use of cement is increasing gradually due to rapid industrialization in the world. For that it needs to invent alternative binding materials, and hence the Bagasse Ash, which is pozzolanic in nature, may be used at certain proportion in concrete. Sugar-cane bagasse i s a fibrous waste- product of the sugar refining industry, along with ethanol vapor. This waste product, known as sugar cane bagasse ash (SCBA) is already causing serious environmental pollution, which calls for urgent ways of handling the waste. Bagasse ash mainly contains aluminum ion and silica. In this study, cement was partially replaced by 0%,5%,10%,15% and 20% of weight of cement, for preparation of cement concrete mix. Fresh concrete test like Slump Cone Test as well as harden concrete test like Compressive Strength Test at the age of 7,14 and 28 days were performed for each mix of concrete. The tests were performed in the Material Testing Laboratory of Civil Engineering Department, H.R.H. The Prince of Wales Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jorhat, Assam. Effect on workability and compressive strength of bagasse ash mixes concrete were studied here in this work. The bagasse ash was produced by burning locally collected bagasse from various sugarcane Mill located at Jorhat district, Assam. The results obtained from the study were discussed and depicted graphically, and finally conclusions were drawn.

Abstract Consumer buying behaviour is a multifaceted area of study, influenced by psychological, social, and economic factors. Over the years, researchers have developed numerous theories to explain the complexities of consumer behaviour, with models ranging from economic theories that highlight rational decision-making to psychological and sociocultural models that emphasize the underlying emotions, motivations, and societal influences. This paper critically examines key theoretical frameworks that explain consumer buying behaviour, integrating insights from both traditional and contemporary models. The analysis covers theories such as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB), and psychoanalytic approaches, while also exploring how emotions, brand loyalty, and technological advancements shape consumer decisions in today's digital world. The review emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to understanding consumer behaviour, considering both individual and societal influences.
