Ancient times have witnessed women being physically subjugated, socially discriminated, economically dependent and psychologically traumatised. But modern contemporary woman is breaking her silence, questioning the male dominance and bracing the challenges. This is the first instance of the 'New Woman' in Indian writers' English-language works. Modern Indian novelist Shashi Deshpande has focused in particular on the common predicament faced by middle class, educated, employed Indian women, whose quirks differ from those of urban women in India. Shashi Deshpande presents a reformed woman who reasons, scrutinizes and finally evolves into a New Woman. The protagonists of her novel whether it is Saru of The Dark Holds No Terrors, Indu of Roots and Shadows or Jaya of That Long Silence all comprehend the suppression of 'self' due to the male conquered system which is rude, callous, suppressive, domineering and horrendous and hence forces them to break their silence to lead a life of a reformed 'New Woman'. The present paper discusses how the revelation of one's identity takes place through Indian mythological reflections.

Mitral valve prolapse (MVP) is a common valve abnormality in general population. Despite the general belief of a benign disorder, several articles since the 1980s report sudden cardiac death (SCD) in MVP patients, with a substantial percentage of asymptomatic young individuals. MVP is an underrated cause of arrhythmic SCD. The subset of patients with malignant MVP who may be at greater risk for SCD is characterized by young women with bi leaflet MVP, biphasic or inverted T waves in the inferior leads, and frequent complex ventricular ectopic activity with documented ventricular bigeminy or ventricular tachycardia (VT) and premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) configurations of outflow tract alternating with fascicular origin or papillary muscle. MVP is a common condition in the general population and is often encountered in asymptomatic individuals. Here, we report the case of a 52-year-old male presenting for ventricular bigeminy. Initial workup revealed a Barlow disease with mitral valve prolapse. The patient underwent mitral valve surgery with good outcomes. Mitral valve prolapse is defined as abnormal bulging of the mitral valve leaflets into the left atrium during ventricular systole. Mitral valve prolapse is a common condition that is a risk factor for mitral regurgitation, congestive heart failure, arrhythmia, and endocarditis.

This study investigates the ongoing use of caustic soda in soap and detergent production, examining its benefits and drawbacks amidst growing environmental concerns. Caustic soda's effectiveness in converting fats and oils into soap and detergent powder, as well as its role in cleaning agents and pH adjustment, makes it a valuable ingredient. However, its production and utilization raise significant environmental concerns, prompting the industry to shift towards sustainability. This research aims to evaluate the efficacy of caustic soda against its environmental impact, exploring safer, more eco-friendly alternatives that balance functional performance with environmental responsibility. By revaluating the use of caustic soda, the industry can mitigate stakeholder concerns, adhere to legal obligations, and ensure long-term survival, ultimately aligning with sustainable marketing principles and contributing to a more environmentally conscious future. This study's findings will inform detergent manufacturers' strategies, policy decisions, and sustainable practices, addressing the critical need for environmentally responsible production processes in the chemical industry.

Determining the exact location of earthquake origins is crucial in seismology and is integral for several seismic-related tasks such as building a 3D picture of the Earth's interior, identifying the characteristics of seismic sources, and assessing potential dangers. Various traditional machine learning approaches like the nearest neighbor, decision tree, and support vector machine have been applied to solve the problem of earthquake detection. However, a recurring challenge with these methods is the need for expert knowledge in choosing the right features, which can sometimes lower their accuracy. Convolutional neural networks, which are primarily used for image recognition, have been adapted for a task of pinpointing earthquake epicenters or estimating their exact locations. In this setup, the model is trained using waveforms from multiple stations to predict the location of an earthquake swarm. The recurrent neural network (RNN) excels at extracting meaningful information from a sequence of inputs, making it suitable for dealing with a series of seismic stations that are activated in response to seismic wave propagation. This approach has been examined for enhancing real-time earthquake detection and the classification of source features. Other machine learning approaches have also been suggested for earthquake surveillance. Our approach introduces a recurrent neural network (RNN) model that uses differential P-wave arrival times and station positions to locate earthquakes. This model is designed to quickly identify the first P wave arrivals, which is vital for the rapid distribution of earthquake early warning alerts. Our method takes into account the impact of subsurface velocity structures by integrating the locations of seismic sources into the recurrent neural network. We have evaluated our method using a comprehensive seismic dataset from Japan. Our findings indicate that the recurrent neural network model can accurately pinpoint earthquake locations with relatively little data, offering new insights into the development of effective machine learning solutions.

The impact of Constitutional Interpretation is evolved by the Supreme Court of India and the impact of the same on the Indian Criminal Justice System. There is an attempt to note the periodic change in the court's attitude towards interpreting the various provisions of the constitution related to criminal law and procedure by analyzing the various judgments which have shaped the Indian Criminal Justice System. A study of this nature which intends to understand and report on the relationship between issues of Constitutional Law and Criminal Justice would traditionally follow an analysis of the Fundamental Rights as the points of intersection between constitutional issues and criminal justice; an analysis of the rights considered essential in securing criminal justice. Although any such analysis would successfully provide clarity of purpose and efficient reasoning towards securing an understanding of seminal concepts, the ideas that come through are rudimentary and superficial, as they do not account for the subtle changes in the underlying institutional and systemic framework. We therefore seek to undertake a different approach and focus our attempt towards examining and identifying the approach of the constitutional courts in interpreting such constitutional provisions and principles with a view to assess their impact on the development of our criminal justice system.

To statistically evaluate, how electronic commerce aids into the productivity of an organization by reducing operative costs. E-commerce (electronic commerce) is the buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of funds or data, over an electronic network, primarily the internet. These e-commerce transactions typically fall within four types: business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), consumer-to-consumer (C2C) or consumer-to-business (C2B). Online retail shopping is the most popular type of e-commerce oriented business which is very popular now-a-days and is used at large by the young people across the world. In the past two decades, few of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Flipkart, Meesho etc. have attained a substantial growth in online retail. In 2011, e-commerce accounted for 5% of total retail sales according to the U.S. Census Bureau. By Q2 2020, after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, e-commerce accounted for 16.5% of retail sales. Since then, it has fallen slightly to about 15% as physical stores reopened, but it is still growing day-by-day due to enlarged customer base across the globe. Reason behind such an acceptability of e-commerce accounts for much less expense involved than physical offices. Both functional and operational costs are reduced considerably by e-Commerce. Furthermore, e-commerce also has many other unmatched benefits when compared with offline commerce methods.

Kuchipudi, one of the Indian Classical dances, is rich in technique, music, grammar, shastra, sangita, sahitya and Chaturvidha Abhinaya. One underlying feature which is the most powerful yet subtle is Kuchipudi's deep philosophical fabric which not only teaches us about existence but also liberates us from suffering if dealt with properly. This research is about Kuchipudi's relationship with hardcore metaphysical aspects in the perspective of Indian Literature. As complicated and sophisticated it may sound, Metaphysics can be understood from Kuchupudi in a much easier way by all kinds of audience as it plays the role of an entertaining medium of philosophical knowledge transfer by being a dance drama tradition.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a global chronic liver disease that is highly correlated with insulin resistance and obesity. This review focuses on how weight reduction affects the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The majority of chronic liver diseases are non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and as the NAFLD population ages, there is a growing incidence of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) with fibrosis. Notable weight loss can enhance non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. A balanced diet, regular exercise and several bariatric surgeries can help to reduce body weight and improve fibrosis, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and liver fat. Diets low in carbohydrates, rich in fiber, high in protein, and hypocaloric aid in weight loss and reduce liver fat. Additionally, exercise reduces the buildup of fat in the liver, which has therapeutic effects for NAFLD. This review discusses the data showing that weight loss improves NAFLD patients' liver outcomes.

Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) is the most commonly performed orthopedic procedure. The main complication associated with ORIF is surgical site infection. Depending on the population under investigation, the total rate of problems following ankle fracture repair ranges from 5% to 40%.wound complications have been documented to affect 1.4% to 18.8% of patients. SSI is identified as the most common hospital-acquired infection related to ORIF complications, adversely affecting bone union and functional rehabilitation. Various risk factors for SSI are highlighted, including advanced age, higher BMI, smoking, diabetes, and the severity of the injury. Studies indicate that the incidence of SSI can lead to increased hospital stays and re-hospitalization rates. Understanding these risk factors is crucial for improving patient outcomes and minimizing SSI occurrences in surgical practices. This review synthesizes findings from multiple studies, providing a comprehensive overview of the challenges associated with ankle fracture surgeries and the importance of addressing SSI to enhance recovery and rehabilitation.
