Ulcers are a major complication of diabetes, often resulting in chronic wounds that are difficult to heal and susceptible to infection, potentially leading to debilitation or even death. As much as Diabetic foot ulcers are a common complication, so are carbuncles. Carbuncles also known as Bullosis diabeticorum (BD) bursts open to lead to ulcer formation in any part of body. Due to the complex nature of the condition, a combined approach using both Ayurveda and conventional medical treatments can offer better outcomes. This report discusses three cases of diabetic ulcers located on the various parts of body. After performing thorough wound debridement, treatment was administered based on the Ayurvedic principles of Vrana Chikitsa, alongside infection control. Regular wound care and monitoring was carried out. The ulcers showed steady improvement, with reduced slough and smooth healing observed in all cases. Complete wound closure was achieved within six weeks, without recurrence reported during a one-month follow-up period. This integrative treatment approach appears to promote faster healing in chronic, non-healing diabetic ulcers.

This paper explores the historical significance, principles, and contemporary relevance of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in the current multipolar geopolitical landscape. Despite facing numerous challenges, including criticism for losing its influence post-Cold War, the NAM continues to play a vital role in addressing global inequalities, promoting multilateralism, and advocating for the interests of developing nations. Through a comprehensive analysis of NAM's evolution and its role in global governance, the paper concludes that NAM's relevance remains strong, especially in fostering international cooperation and addressing emerging global challenges like climate change and economic inequality.

Honor killings remain a critical issue in India, where family honor, caste-based norms, and patriarchal structures play a crucial role in influencing the social order. Khap Panchayats, traditional self-governing councils, have been central to enforcing these rigid socio-cultural codes, particularly in rural areas. This research paper examines the role of Khap Panchayats in perpetuating honor killings and their intersection with legal frameworks. The paper offers a comprehensive socio-legal analysis of how Khap Panchayats uphold a culture of honor, the legal battles to counter their influence, and the sociological impact on marginalized groups, especially women and young couples.

Abstract This paper examines the evolution of daughters' rights as coparceners in Hindu law, particularly following the enactment of the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005. Historically, the coparcenary system excluded daughters from inheritance rights, relegating them to mere members of the Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) without equal claim to ancestral property. The 2005 Amendment marked a significant legal reform by granting daughters coparcenary rights, thus positioning them on par with sons in terms of property ownership and management. Judicial interpretations, particularly in landmark cases such as Vineeta Sharma v. Rakesh Sharma, have further clarified and reinforced these rights, emphasizing the retroactive application of the amendment. However, cultural and societal barriers, along with legal complexities, continue to hinder the effective realization of these rights. The paper discusses ongoing litigation and offers suggestions for enhancing awareness among legal practitioners and the public to promote gender equality in property rights. Ultimately, the paper reflects on the importance of both legal reforms and societal change in achieving true equality for women in the context of Hindu inheritance law.

Advertising plays a crucial role in shaping consumer behavior by influencing perceptions, attitudes, and purchase intentions. It serves as a vital source of information, allowing consumers to become aware of various products and brands. Through strategic messaging and the use of brand ambassadors, such as celebrities, companies like Lakme Cosmetics enhance their appeal and recognition among target audiences. However, not all advertisements adhere to ethical standards; some may be misleading, exaggerating product benefits or making false claims. Such practices can manipulate consumer perceptions and potentially harm their interests. It is essential for advertisers to commit to truthfulness in their messaging, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Consumers, in turn, should critically evaluate advertising claims to make informed purchasing decisions. Misleading advertisements, driven by a profit motive, pose significant challenges in maintaining consumer trust and ethical marketing practices.

Violence against women is the harsh reality of today which exists everywhere. One of the most prevalent crimes against women which is integrally tied to the maintenance of patriarchy is domestic violence. In India, where women are considered to be highly esteemed, we found many examples of violence against women. Nearly every home in India faces some form of domestic abuse, wherein women suffer abuse physically, psychologically and economically. According to National Family Health Survey (NFHS), 2019-2021, 29.3 percent of married Indian women between the ages of 18 and 49 have experienced domestic/sexual violence and this is only the data collected according to the cases reported by women, as there can be many more that never make it to the police due to fear of reprisal, social pressure, low literacy level, lack of trust on police and low conviction rates in such crimes. This paper critically analyses the problem of domestic violence against women in India as a violation of their human rights. The paper looks about the meaning, forms of violence against women and highlights the factors that perpetuate domestic violence against women. Further, it also discusses the national responses to prevent violence against women. In addition, the paper also attempts to provide recommendations to eradicate this menace from the society.

This case study reviews the concept of empathy, which can be said to be barely analogous to sympathy, in librarianship as a profession. In this paper, the focus is on the implementation of empathy-driven practices at a particular library while examining the ways through which these types of practices offered by librarians could be developed and applied to enhance their relationships with the patrons along with a few other impacts on their job satisfaction and efficiency. Through the analysis of these practices, the case study informs on how being empathetic, not sympathetic, is what could be helpful in providing more meaningful and effective library services.

The present research work investigates the role of women in Indian society before and after independence, as well as how feminism has resulted in the development of a concept of a 'new woman'. This new woman is an amalgam of Western influences and her native ethos. Rupa Bajwa's The Sari Shop depicts the challenges faced by people in modern India. It demonstrates class stratification and subjection. In India, the top class enjoys luxurious lifestyles, while the lower class faces misery and poverty. According to conflict theory, societal stratification favors the rich and strong while allowing them to exploit the poor. As a result, it generates a system of winners and losers, which is maintained by those at the top. People who are losers do not have a fair shot to compete and hence end up at the bottom, as seen in the novel through the eyes of the protagonist, Ramchand. The novel depicts class stratification and its repercussions. The purpose of this paper is to determine what causes lower-class people to be stuck in one status, the causes of women's enslavement, and the benefits and drawbacks of various classes in society.

This study explores the awareness level of crowdfunding in Coimbatore City, particularly in the context of conscious marketing. As crowdfunding emerges as an alternative financing tool, it offers opportunities for supporting socially and environmentally conscious initiatives. The research examines public awareness, focusing on how technology and transparency impact crowdfunding participation. Using a mixed-methods approach including surveys and interviews, the study reveals significant engagement among young males aged 18 to 24, primarily in urban areas. While crowdfunding is seen as an effective way to support innovation, trust issues and the lack of traditional financial intermediaries remain obstacles. Social media platforms play a crucial role in promoting campaigns, but education on technology and transparency is needed to boost awareness and participation. Promoting socially conscious campaigns can enhance the impact of crowdfunding, resonating with the values of today's socially aware population.

The Uttarakhand Flash Flood of 2013 serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of environmental mismanagement and unplanned development. This paper examines the multifaceted causes of the disaster, including rapid urbanization, industrialization, and population growth, which have led to significant ecological degradation in the Himalayan region. The author argues that the indiscriminate exploitation of natural resources has disrupted the delicate balance of the ecosystem, resulting in catastrophic events such as the flash floods. The paper emphasizes the need for a paradigm shift in how we perceive and interact with our environment, advocating for sustainable development practices that prioritize ecological integrity over short-term economic gains. It calls for comprehensive disaster management plans, stricter regulations on construction in ecologically sensitive areas, and a collective commitment to climate justice to mitigate future disasters.

Documents and certificates are crucial for proving professional achievements, making them essential for career progression. The current system for issuing and verifying these documents is often slow and labour-intensive. Moreover, paper-based documents are susceptible to forgery, resulting in various educational frauds. This project aims to resolve these issues by leveraging blockchain technology. Blockchain extends beyond cryptocurrencies and has significant applications in various fields, including healthcare, supply chain management, and finance. In education, blockchain can transform the traditional method of issuing and verifying certificates. This project will illustrate how professional certificates can be authenticated using the Ethereum platform and smart contracts. The process includes converting traditional paper certificates into digital formats upon request, applying cryptographic hash functions to generate hash values for the digital certificates, storing the hash values on the blockchain, creating a unique certificate ID and transaction hash value, and utilizing the unique certificate ID and transaction hash value for certificate verification through a unified platform. This approach includes streamlining the certificate issuance, storage and verification process, increasing security by preventing forgery and unauthorized modifications, providing a clear and immutable record of certifications, and facilitating easy access and verification by third parties.
