This paper presents a study of shear behaviour of concrete beams. Normally shear reinforcement of concrete beams consist of traditional stirrups. Replacing these stirrups by welded wire mesh eliminates some of the detailing problems inherent in traditional rebar in the Reinforced Concrete Construction resulting in easier and faster construction, and better economy and quality control. In this present study behaviour of rectangular concrete beams with Shear reinforcement as Welded mesh in self compacting concrete was carried out. One control beam with conventional reinforcement and remaining with welded wire mesh as shear reinforcement at constant shear span to depth ratio is carried out. In this present study shear behaviour of self compacting concrete beams with channel shaped shear reinforcement in one, two and three layers were studied.

The term Artificial Intelligence is a very old concept. It can been introduced before 5 decades from now. It is used widely in different areas such as economy, society, trade and commerce, communication, etc. It was in 1997 that IBM's dark blue computer could defeat human world chess champion, where the beginning and usage of AI started in full swing. In China, the AI technology was used in making development plan for the new generation. Strategic goals were laid down and the work was initiated in the way to bring out the final impact. In today's world, competition is growing immensely in all the fields. Technology is taking upper hand in different sectors, whereas the role of human is gradually decreasing. The phenomena of Artificial Intelligence are grabbing the activities around the globe. This machine based learning system is able to study the perception of the users based on their activity. The demand of the consumers is met indirectly by providing them with their needs through the smart technology of AI. Recently it has been witnessed that, had AI be introduced in the field of E-Commerce, the marketers can attract more consumers. Depending upon the frequent checks laid by the consumers, their history, pages viewed, products brought repeatedly, etc., they are eligible to get attractive offers, which enables them to go in for future purchases. Thus, the present paper investigates the role of Artificial Intelligence in E-Commerce. For the purpose of the study, 100-degree college students are taken as sample from the city of Mumbai. The data was analyzed in descriptive manner. After analysis of the data, it was concluded that consumers are more attracted to the customized offers, those are provided to them by the e-commerce marketers. These customized models are prepared, not by the humans but with the help of machine intelligence based on their searches, history, previous purchases, etc. As the consumers are getting all their requirements satisfied under one roof, with special offers and discounts, they are more going in for online shopping, rather than retail purchases.

This experimental study has been done to investigate the behavior of the concrete when cement is replaced by some Percentage of the groundnut shell ash and silica gel. To overcome the huge demand for cement we should not have to be more reliable on the old constituents of the cement. We have to find some new sources of cement constituents in that one of the important agro-waste come into the list due to the presence of the silica in abundant amounts. In this experiment, we have done a broad analysis of workability and compressive strength. The Study is done at the constant water-cement ratio of 0.5. Partial replacement is done by weight of the Cement by 5% and 10 % by ground nutshell ash (GNSA) and 0.0%, 0.2%, 0.3%, and 0.4% of silica gel (SG) in the concrete mixture. We found that compressive strength increase approximately by 38% than normal concrete of M20 at 5%GNSA+0.3% SG Replacement.

Aim of this study is to determine the correlation of self-harm behavior and depression. This research used an observational analytic using the method of systematic review based on cross-sectional, longitudinal and cohort researches about depression and self-harm on teenagers. Four studies are included in this research and show that depression is correlated to self-harm behavior in teenagers. The severity of depression correlates with self-harm and the greater the depressive symptoms, the greater self-harm behavior outcome as well. Increased severity of self-harm is associated with higher levels of depression and also self-harm itself can act as a trigger for depression on teenagers. A study shows that there is an association between gender and self-harm. However, there is another study that stated there is no association between gender and self-harm in teenagers. In conclusion there is a correlation between depression self-harm behavior in teenagers.

In an automobile the power developed basically depends upon the fuel used for combustion. Gasoline and Diesel are used in liquid form which is extensively used in the world from last century. These fuels are obtained from crude oil reserves, which is available in limited quantity in the world. This situation will create a problem for energy crises in the future. The fossil fuels are also the big source of air pollution which is having a negative impact on environment as well as on human health. In the present scenario, ethanol is being used as an additive with gasoline in many of the countries of the world. At present in India, 10 percent ethanol mixing with gasoline is mandatory by the Government of India and from the year of 2017, it will be 20 percent. From the past researches it has been found that ethanol is a good replacement of gasoline but is has many disadvantages like: - due to its hygroscopic nature, ethanol damages the internal part to the engine, it effects the metallic as well as non-metallic part of the engine. For overcoming the problems an effort has been made in this study by using butanol as an additive with ethanol gasoline blends because butanol is not hygroscopic in nature and does not rust the internal parts of the engines. In this report, performance analysis of multi cylinder spark ignition engine has been evaluated on ethanol gasoline blend with or without butanol addition. Ethanol was added with gasoline in three different volumetric ratio as 10,20 and 30 percent. Butanol was added in the volumetric ratios of 2.5,5,7.5 and 10 percent with ethanol gasoline and gasoline. Various performance parameters of the engine such as bsfc. BTE, BSEC and EGT have been observed. Exhaust emission such as carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and oxides of nitrogen has also been observed. The results show that addition of butanol in ethanol gasoline blends had positive effect on the engine performance. Emissions of CO and HC founds to be lower compared to ethanol gasoline blends and gasoline. While NOX emission were on higher side. Overall, additive blends have been performed well and found suitable without any hardware modification of the engine.

Employee engagement is the buzz word in both corporate and academic circles in the recent years. Offshoot of economic crises across the world is cost cutting exercise across industry and mass retrenchment is often the primary action. At this juncture there is pressure for human resource management to focus extra effort on not only retaining a large work force, but also keeping them actively engaged. Employee engagement model is fundamentally a scheme for understanding the activities that make employees happy in the workplace. Each model draws on theatrical framework of organizational behaviour and human resource management to facilitate organisations to develop their own system of employee engagement.

Abstract: Recent advances in the fields of image processing and natural language processing are aimed at creating smart systems that will improve people's quality of life. In this paper, an effective method for text detection and extraction from photographs, as well as text to audio conversion, is proposed. Gray scale conversion is used to improve the incoming image first. Following that, the improved image's text sections are discovered using the Maximally Stable External Regions (MSER) feature detector. To efficiently gather and filter text sections in a picture, use geometric filtering in conjunction with the stroke width transform (SWT). Geometric attributes and the stroke width transform are used to remove non-text MSERs. Individual letters/alphabets are then combined together to identify text sequences, which are ultimately fractured into words. Finally, the words are digitised using Optical Character Recognition (OCR). In the final stage, we convert the identified text to speech using our text-to-speech synthesiser (TTS). The suggested algorithm is put to the test on a variety of images, ranging from documents to nature settings. Promising findings have been presented, demonstrating the suggested framework's accuracy and robustness and encouraging its use..

Human motion modelling is a classical problem at the intersection of graphics and computer vision, with applications spanning human-computer interaction, motion synthesis, and motion prediction for virtual and augmented reality. Following the success of deep learning methods in several computer vision tasks, recent work has focused on using deep recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to model human motion, with the goal of learning time-dependent representations that perform tasks such as short-term motion prediction and long-term human motion synthesis. In this project LSTM algorithm is used to train user activity like sitting, standing, dancing and based on live input video file motion prediction of user is done and lines are drawn on person based on his position of activity.
