 Abstract

Multi-person pose estimation under real-world conditions is a complex task. Despite the commendable performance of advanced human detectors, minor inaccuracies in localization and recognition are bound to occur. Such inaccuracies can lead to setbacks in multi-person pose estimation, particularly for approaches heavily reliant on human detection outcomes. This paper explores multi-person pose estimation using the MoveNet model in computer vision, efficiently predicting human body keypoints in images and videos. It comprehensively elaborates the model's architecture, data preprocessing, and keypoint interpretation, demonstrated through code snippets. Empirical evaluation involves diverse datasets and metrics for accuracy and efficiency. Results emphasize the model's effectiveness, especially in complex scenes. The paper also offers insights into multi-person pose estimation, guiding model selection, preprocessing, and evaluation. It aims to promote MoveNet-based solutions across applications, bridging research and practical implementation for impactful real-world deployment.

 Abstract

Introduction: Childhood-onset schizophrenia (COS) is a rare illness with an incidence less than 0.4%, that is poorly understood but seems continuous with the adult-onset disorder. The disease usually continues to progress in adolescence and adulthood. It can be diagnosed with the same criteria that are used for adults. Aim: To present a case of 12 years old female child who presented with symptoms of schizophrenia. Results: Patient showed significant improvement (improvement in auditory hallucinations, self-absorbed behaviour, delusion of reference) following which she was discharged from the hospital. Conclusion: Schizophrenia is a devastating illness, particularly when presenting in childhood or adolescence. Once a diagnosis is confirmed, aggressive medication treatment combined with family education and individual counselling may prevent further deterioration.

 Abstract

The objective of this project is to compare the stress and strain curves of corroded and uncorroded steel in order to understand the effects of corrosion on the mechanical properties of steel. To achieve this objective, uncorroded steel samples will be subjected to tensile testing to determine their stress and strain curves. Corroded steel samples will also be subjected to the same testing process after being exposed to a corrosive environment for a specified period of time. The stress and strain curves of the corroded and uncorroded steel samples will then be compared to identify any differences in their mechanical properties. The methodology for this project will involve selecting steel samples of the same material and dimensions, with one group being left uncorroded and the other group exposed to a corrosive environment. The samples will then be tested using a tensile testing machine to measure their stress and strain curves. The data collected will be analyzed to identify any differences in the mechanical properties of the corroded and uncorroded steel samples. The expected outcomes of this project are to determine how corrosion affects the stress and strain curves of steel and whether these changes are significant enough to affect the performance of steel structures. This research will have important implications for industries that rely on steel structures, such as construction, transportation, and infrastructure, as it will help to inform decisions about maintenance and replacement of corroded steel components.

 Abstract

The tourism and hotel industry plays a critical role in the development of an economy. Its role becomes significant in the case of developing economies, like India. The study related to tourism and hotel industry becomes relevant and vital in the present world scenario of increasing role of tourism in many aspects including stimulating economic growth, making addition to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country, employment generation, earning foreign exchange, development of infrastructure and so on. The tourism and hotel industry of India not only contributes to its GDP but also helps the economy and people of the country in many ways. This makes the study essential from the world as well as India's point of view. The present study is an attempt to examine the contribution and role of tourism industry in the economy by scrutinizing the relevant data related to tourism and hotel industry of the world with a special emphasis on India. The study also aims to analyse the domestic and foreign tourists' footfall to the monuments protected under the Archaeological Survey of India. It further tries to evaluate the data related to the availability of approved hotels of India and their occupancy; and of the recognized tourism service providers in India.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Women are crucial facilitators for development. They serve a catalytic role towards realization of transformational economic, environmental and social reformation essential for sustainable development. Women's empowerment is essential not just for the well-being of individuals, families, and communities, but for the overall development of mankind. Over the past few years women's role has changed significantly and is making its greatest impact in our society today. The contribution of women to society was limited and controlled by men few years back, but today women are playing a important role in many important areas. Role of women in the contemporary world has changed at an accelerating rate and she is actively taking part in areas such as Politics, Professional Medicine, Training Jobs, Business and Law. Formerly they were not part of any political, Administrative matter, but they have advanced in many aspects. This paper attempts to analyse the changing role of women in modern India and is based purely on secondary source of data. Various studies shows that although women in modern India have made a considerable progress in every aspects and sphere of life, they still have to struggle against deep-rooted patriarchal mind-set of society. Though Indian constitution grants equal rights and oppurtunities to women as that of men but they were never been successful to bring a remarkable change in the status of women. Equal footing with men is still an illusion for women because men dominance still prevails in the Indian society.

 Abstract

The post office savings schemes have been a popular investment options for many investors in India. This study aims to investigate the satisfaction level of investors toward these schemes. A survey was conducted with a sample of 151 respondents who had invested in post office savings schemes. The study found that investors had a positive perception of these schemes as they provided perception of these schemes as they provided a safe and secure investment option with guaranteed returns. The study also found that investors were satisfied with the interest rates offered by these schemes and perceived them to be better than other investment options available in the market. However, the study also found that investors were not aware of the various schemes offered by the post office and the benefits they offered. The study recommends that the post office should increase its awareness programs to educate investors about the various schemes and their benefits. This will help investors make informed investment decisions and also increase the popularity of post office savings schemes as a viable investment option.

 Abstract

The main objective of this research is to design development and evaluate floating control releases tablet of an antihypertensive drug in order to achieve therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance. The present research work discuses about the floating control release tablet which suitable for enhance its bioavailability (It is useful for achieving controlled plasma level as well as improving bioavailability) and prolonged residence time in the stomach. Gastro retentive drug delivery system is an approach to prolong gastric residence time of tablet, thereby achieving targeting and site specific drug release in the upper gastrointestinal tract (GIT) for local or systemic effects. Several gastro retentive drug delivery approaches being designed and developed, including high density (sinking) system that is retained in the bottom of the stomach, low density (floating) system that cause buoyancy in gastric fluid, mucoadhesion system that cause bio adhesion to stomach mucosa, and also unfoldable, extendible, or swellable system are involved.

 Abstract

Fishes were exposed to the maximum allowable concentration value of red mud waste extract for a period of 30days to study the impact of the lechate waste. The MAC value deduced from the toxicity test was 3.1 % of waste extract (WE) in 50 liters of water for 30 days. Lethargicity was noticed in the contaminated fish on the first day of introduction of the toxicant, waste extract. Gradual onset of inactivity and loss of equilibrium was marked in WE exposed fish compared to control fish. Reddening of eye and whole body was noted in the WE exposed fish. The sodium ion and potassium ion content significantly decreased in brain, liver and muscle tissues of the red mud waste extract exposed fishes. The muscle showed the highest percent decrease in sodium ion content, when compared to liver and brain tissues of the waste extract exposed fish. The muscle tissue of the exposed fish was significantly affected than brain and liver tissues of the RMWE exposed fishes except in magnesium ion where it was least affected. Significant depletion was noted in potassium ion content of the exposed fish tissues. The red mud waste extract which is equivalent to the lechate leaking from the red mud pond is highly toxic and affects the fish. Decrease in ion content in different tissues of the waste extract (Red Mud Waste Extract / lechate from red mud pond) exposed fishes indicated the intensity of the toxicant, waste extract. The cause of lethargicity and imbalance in the movement of the waste extract exposed fishes compared to control fish was due to the toxicant used for the study.

Her imaginative and distinctive attempt to examine women's history from the past to the present and evaluate the state of the movement and its effects on society is reflected in the themes she explores in her novels. This study examines the portrayal of traumatised families and the pervasive effect of traditional patriarchal structures in Kapur's novel Difficult Daughters. By analysing the narratives and character dynamics within these literary works, this research aims to shed light on the complex interplay between personal trauma and societal norms, particularly in the context of Indian society.

To comprehensively analyze the multifaceted impacts of GST on the Indian economy, this paper employs a mixed-method research approach. The paper evaluates the effects of the GST on economic indicators, sectoral performance, challenges encountered during implementation, and its overall contribution to the Indian economy's growth trajectory based on quantitative and qualitative insights, extensive literature review, and empirical evidence.

 Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the myths associated with the very famous shrine of Northern Andhra and to rediscover the truths regarding the Simhachalam shrine both mythologically and historically. In society, to date, many believe that Simhachalam was built by Vijayanagaras or Gajapatis. Also, mythologically though this shrine is accorded much significance, many own percepts which are far away from the historical truth are associated with this shrine. Percepts for research are collected from groups of devotees both from northern Andhra and other states. Many historical books and authentic sources were gone through to put forward the realities. Finally, this article tries to untangle the myths and disclose the realities regarding the Simhachalam temple both mythologically and historically.

 Abstract

A Soil Health Card is used to assess the current status of soil health and, when used over time, to determine changes in soil health that are affected by land management. A Soil Health Card displays soil health indicators and associated descriptive terms. The indicators are typically based on farmers' practical experience and knowledge of local natural resources. The card lists soil health indicators that can be assessed without the aid of technical or laboratory equipment. Soil Health Card (SHC) is a Government of India's scheme promoted by the Department of Agriculture & Co-operation under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. It is being implemented through the Department of Agriculture of all the State and Union Territory Governments. Major Constraints in adopting the SHC recommendations were difficulty in understanding the information given in the soil health card and calculating fertilizer dose on the basis of nutrient status of soil, unscientific method of collecting soil samples. Regular trainings to the farmers on soil sample collection procedure followed by interpreting recommended dose of fertilizers will create the positive intent among the farmers in adopting the SHC recommendation for sustainable soil health management.

 Abstract

This Study is all about politics in Indian cricket system .The main aim of the study is to create awareness about to able. Descriptive research helps to portray accurately the characteristics of particular individual, situation or group. Convenience sampling method is used in this study to collect the samples.When population elements are selected for inclusion in the sample based on access is called convenience sampling.The statistical tool used is percentage analysis, which includes Independent sample t test, Chi-square, Correlation and ANOVA.The total number of responses collected in the survey is around 1337 .It was found that constitution makes it mandatory for the Government to protect and promote freedoms, and to assure every citizen a decent standard of living. In this study I have concluded that , is getting some traction, and demonstrates the powerful interconnections between sport, politics, international relations and soft power diplomacy. For sports organisations this gets uncomfortable: the sport-politics nexus is fine when it is positive, but problematic when negative. The International Cricket Council will be watching this closely and trying to prevent it becoming a major issue, because it has had bitter experiences with South Africa earlier and Zimbabwe more recently.

 Abstract

The depiction of any group in the media can have a positive or negative impact on that group. It is important to study the content of the media because the creator of media messages can stereotype a particular group of people such as minorities, age groups, race, gender, etc. The audience is influenced by the content of media, and they may form a particular view of a particular group. In India, cinema is a medium that has a huge audience. The content of films can sensitize people to treat senior citizens well, or it can create a negative view of them. This study was conducted to understand, how older characters (60+) are depicted in Hindi commercial cinema. It is a visual study; the researcher has used semiotic analysis to study the depiction of old characters. The character traits, objects, and the setting were observed. It was found that the depictions of older characters in the selected films were similar but due to the narrative, each one had some distinct characteristics of their own. The socioeconomic status of the characters also impacted their depiction.

 Abstract

Indian constitution provides language freedom to the states. The states can formulate their own education policy but in language selection, friction between central government and state government arises. The present study aims to analyze English teaching techniques as a second language in Sabarkantha and BanaskanthaDistricts of Gujarat state by considering factors like; legislatives on English teaching, English teaching approaches, English teaching methods,teaching material and text book, and ICT usage in context to selected government run colleges of Sabarkantha and Banaskantha District.(N=1156 ,n= 219).The study consists of primary data source and the data collected through structured questionnaire are analyzed and interpreted by conducting applicable statistical tests i.e. pre-test activities and co-relational tests. The results reveals on significant positive correlations between legislatives on English teaching and rest of the factors. To conclude, state legislatives on English teaching is at the rethinking stage in terms of English teaching techniques. Further research can be conducted by extending area of research and questionnaire factors.

The Indian literature further high-light the fact that primitive men even Indo-Aryans, wanted to marry not out of sexual urge, but to assert their property right on women. The tradition of hand weaving is a part of our country's cultural heritage and symbolizes the ability of the weavers to design intricate artistic and attractive products by use of various kinds of handlooms. It may be noted that, India as a developing country in the world, where handloom is one of the largest economic industries for its innovations, productions, flexibility, promotions of individual weavers, and versatility as well. Among the states in India, Odisha has one of the richest traditions of handloom and handicrafts in the country, which goes back to the time of ancient period. Apart from that, handloom and handicrafts products of Odisha are appreciated all over the country and outside because of their unique and natural motifs, delicate designs, and aesthetical colour amalgamation. Odishan handloom products are known for their incorporation of some of the basic and known traditional motifs like wheels (chakra), shells (shankha), and which connected the towards tradition and culture through the deep concept of signs. These designs are derived from our ancient culture, tradition, folklore as well as mythologies like Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Jagannath culture of Odisha. Ikat of Odisha is woven with gem-colored, slightly-blurred motifs. Motif is the most basic unit with the help of which a design is created. At the same time, such motifs are frequently inspired by nature and are also closely linked to natural, daily life and socio-cultural-economic factors prevailing in any society.

 Abstract

One of the most significant elements that pose a significant risk to agricultural productivity is the presence of leaf diseases. Finding and naming diseases and pests as soon as they appear is one of the most effective ways to cut down on the financial damage they incur on the farmer. In this study, a convolutional neural network was utilized to automatically detect illnesses that might affect crops. Here we have taken an image dataset containing more than 20,000 images. Training is carried out with the help of the Inception-ResNet-v2 model. The direct edge in the cross-layer and the multi-layer convolution in the residual network unit of the model. Following the completion of the combined convolution process, it is triggered by the connection into the ReLu function. The experimental results suggest that this model achieves an overall recognition accuracy of 98.0%, which substantiates the claim that it is successful. Following the completion of this model's training, we developed and deployed the UI of agricultural disease and insect pest identification. After that, we began the real testing process. The findings demonstrate that the system is capable of correctly identifying crop illnesses so that the farmer can choose to suitable method to overcome the crop from the identified disease.
