 Abstract

Microfinance is the process of forming organizations to provide financial assistance to persons who are unable to support themselves due to poverty without the use of collateral. Microfinance involves credit, insurance products, and savings accounts offered to low-income, unbanked individuals to improve their socioeconomic standing. Micro-insurance offers protection from low-income individuals' risks in exchange for a premium corresponding to the likelihood and expense of the risk involved. General or life insurance can be purchased through non-governmental organizations, self-help organizations, and microfinance institutions under a microinsurance policy. Three microinsurance options are offered by Life Insurance Corporation of India: Jeevan Madhu, Jeevan Mangal, and Jeevan Deep. This study's major goals are to determine whether unbanked individuals need microinsurance and whether this type of insurance enables unbanked individuals to improve their standard of living. A questionnaire is given to 150 respondents from the Kancheepuram District in order to gather primary data using simple random selection. With the aid of the SPSS application and statistical procedures like percentage analysis and the Chi-square test, the acquired data were examined. According to the respondents, joining a SHG-linked LIC leads to overall socioeconomic empowerment in each person's life. According to the study's findings, the LIC should raise unbanked people's understanding of the advantages of microinsurance in order to raise their level of living.

 Abstract

Massive infrastructure construction has generated a boom in cement consumption, and the world uses 30 billion tonnes of cement concrete year to meet it. Academics from all around the world are coming up with new carbon-neutral building solutions to recycle industrial pollution, and they are sharing their findings online. Ash from sugarcane bagasse has a high percentage of amorphous silica and may be used in the production of concrete. This study investigates the chemical and physical characteristics of ash derived from sugarcane bagasse. The effect that the processing of sugarcane bagasse ash has on the performance of concrete is investigated. In this study, the fresh and hardened properties of concrete are investigated after being treated with varying concentrations of sugarcane bagasse ash (SCBA). A more environmentally conscious era might be ushered in by recycling agricultural and industrial waste in concrete. As potential partial replacements for river sand, Sugarcane Bagasse Ash (SCBA) and Granite Waste (GW) were investigated and tested in this research. Particle packing determines % substitution. The utilisation of bagasse ash and granite waste as a partial replacement for river sand is investigated. The tests that are performed on the concrete include compression, splitting tensile, flexural, modulus of elasticity, water absorption, sorptivity, and quick chlorine penetration. According to the results of many tests, bagasse ash-granite waste concrete is much more robust than conventional concrete. Bagasse ash-granite waste concrete offers greater strength qualities and lower permeability than standard concrete, they say.

 Abstract

Now-a-days online transactions and e-trade platforms are grown to be necessary factor of our lives. Additionally economic fraud is the most frequently occurring problem in financial enterprise, authorities and company businesses. Fraud may be described as wrongdoer deception with movie of acquiring financial advantage. Credit card frauds are without problems targets by fraudsters. As e-commerce and some different online sites have improved the online payment transactions, increases the risk for online frauds. Credit card fraud normally occurs when the card was stolen for any of the unauthorized objectives, or even when the fraudster uses the credit card information for his use. In the project, machine learning algorithms used such as Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbor, Local Outlier Function, K-Means Clustering. Similar set of Algorithmic program are implemented and tested utilizing an online dataset. The performance based on the accuracy and low false positive rate. Results show that each algorithm can be used for credit card detection with higher accuracy. But as compare to other algorithms, K-Nearest Neighbor is considered as the best algorithm that is used to detect fraud.

 Abstract

Natural product compounds are the source of numerous therapeutic agents. Recent progress to discover drugs from natural product sources has resulted in compounds that are being developed to treat cancer, resistant bacteria and viruses and immunosuppressive disorders. Many of these compounds were discovered by applying recent advances in understanding the genetics of secondary metabolism in microorganisms, exploring the marine environment and applying new screening technologies. Microbes have made a phenomenal/unique contribution to the health and well-being of people throughout the world. In addition to producing many primary metabolites, such as amino acids, vitamins and nucleotides, they are capable of making secondary metabolites, which constitute half of the pharmaceuticals on the market today (and provide agriculture with many essential products). A growing number of marine microorganisms are the sources of novel and potentially life-saving bioactive secondary metabolites. Here, we have discussed some of these novel antibacterial, antiviral, anticancer compounds isolated from marine-derived microbes and their possible roles in disease eradication and commercial exploitation of these compounds for possible drug development using many approaches.

 Abstract

The significance of environmental monitoring has increased as a result of climate change. Continuous monitoring of the environmental parameter is required to ascertain the environmental quality. Since the IoT is a technology, it is important for gathering information from the sensing unit. A sensing unit often consists of a variety of sensors, including those for temperature, gases, air pressure, and others. The study makes use of a Raspberry Pi to process and transport sensed data to a cloud server and to send message alerts through GSM. Thus, the received parameters are saved in the cloud platform. Through the use of cloud computing, the environment is updated in the form of a database. For immediate access to the measured parameters, a web server is setup.

 Abstract

In this new era, where tremendous information is available on the internet, it is most important to provide the improved mechanism to extract the information quickly and most efficiently . It is very difficult for human beings to manually extract the summary of a large documents of text. So there is a problem of searching for relevant documents from the number of documents available, and absorbing relevant information from it. In order to solve the above two problems, the automatic text summarization is very much necessary. Text summarization is the process of identifying the most important meaningful information in a document or set of related documents and compressing them into a shorter version preserving its overall meanings. In this paper, we present a new graph-based text summarizer method. The proposed method is fast and can be implement for text summarization.

 Abstract

The new human coronavirus illness, COVID-19, is currently considered the most fatal sickness it has ever produced. In addition to augmenting number of deaths, the COVID-19 epidemic it has also resulted in intense hunger and decreased economic productivity in the countries it has reached. More and more people are being infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19). The early detection & separation of COVID-19 individuals does seem to be essential in halting the disease's spread.. In order to identify COVID-19 consistently and quickly, deep learning (DL) algorithms are an excellent solution. In hospitals, there is a limited supply of COVID-19 testing kits caused by a lack of radiologists, and this is exacerbated by a lack of facilities because of upsurge into COVID-19 cases as a result of rising number of people infected. If you're not an expert at doing this kind of thing, you may find it challenging. Accurate COVID-19 diagnoses or treatment, as well as inadequate detection methods are to blame for the deaths of many individuals. Using chest X-ray pictures of patients, this research proposes a novel detection and classification method for quickly diagnosing COVID-19. It can be diagnosed quickly using a method known as HOG. Covid-19 diagnosis based on X-ray imaging is the foundation of our system proposal.

 Abstract

The Union Cabinet on 14 June had approved a recruitment scheme for Indian youth to serve in the Armed Forces. The scheme is called AGNEEPATH and the youth selected under this scheme will be known as Agniveers. Agniveers will be given an attractive customised monthly package along with Risk and Hardship allowances as applicable in the three services. According to the government, AGNEEPATH scheme has been designed to enable a youthful profile of the Armed Forces. It will provide an opportunity to the youth who may be keen to don the uniform by attracting young talent from the society who are more in tune with contemporary technological trends and plough back skilled, disciplined and motivated manpower into the society.
