 Abstract

A large number of purchasing decisions are influenced by a person's interactions with his family, friends, relatives, and acquaintances. In order to properly advertise things, marketers must understand who makes and has input on the purchasing decision in the family. The goal of this study is to learn more about how family members and societal factors influence the purchasing of consumer durables including refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners. It looks into product discrepancies between family buying roles, as well as dealers' opinions of these roles and societal influences. While children and female family members started and influenced demand, male family members made the final decision and paid the bill. This proves that our society continues to work. This study also examines dealers' views of these characteristics to see how well they correspond to actual consumer behavior.

DHANARAJU** ABSTRACT The open access sources of use and awareness is becoming an important theme of substance for researchers, academics, librarians, university administrators, funding agencies, government officials, commercial publishers, and learned-society publishers etc. The exposed access literature can be pragmatic to all forms of published research output, including scholarly journal articles, conference papers, theses, book chapters and monographs. Prior to the advent of the Internet publishers and academic societies subjugated scholarly communication, and researchers channeled their research output exclusively through authoritative publishers and academic societies. Present-day when Internet has become a part of our lives, it endures to make changes in every facet of our society and restructures scholarly communication in many ways and publishing are progressively enchanting place in the electronic environment. Open Access was initiated in the developed countries and was marked by three notable declarations known as Budapest Open Access Initiative in 2002, Bethesda statement in June 2003 and the Berlin declaration in October 2003 and since then the issue is dispersion through the world and many developing countries as well as India have joined the effort. Open Access literature and journals and are expected to be read more often than those with subscriptions thereby having a higher impact rate. Additionally, open access suggestively accelerates the publication and use of new research by reducing the time lag between the actual accomplishment of a piece of research and its publication.

 Abstract

The manufacturing industry plays a very important role in the development of any country. The current era is an automated phase in which many changes from the traditional method of production to new computer-controlled machines are able to perform more detailed work with minimal human intervention. But now the one-day industry known as industrial 4.0 is currently undergoing a fourth industrial revolution, better known as Industrial 4.0 where the 'real' and 'real' world will be seamlessly connected leading to what are known as cyber-physical production systems. As a result, traditional production processes undergo a major transformation that will change the way companies deal with production. In their journey to embrace Industrial 4.0, each country is expected to face many challenges related to the level of skills of its workers. Valuable skills today will expire in the future and all employees are expected to have new skills in the field of information technology, data analysis, practical intelligence etc. A high percentage of jobs will prioritize cognitive skills and system skills. in addition to physical activity skills while defining job-related skill sets. This study contributes to the information body by closing the gap in existing documentation by moderation and clarifying the impact of the availability of skilled workers in industry 4.0.

 Abstract

In the busy life of human beings all people want to reduce their works and it is possible with the help of the technology. Likewise technology is becoming one of the greatest support to the human being. The common and small works are like controlling the home appliances. If we do not manage to control the usage of power today then in future the problems will be faced by us or our upcoming generation. So, there is a need to manage the electricity with help of technology. In this paper we address an IoT(Internet of Things) based Building Management System. There are many works are done on this issue using different methodology. Our method is using the NodeMCU and relay which would be controlled by a mobile application, using this the user can easily manage and control the appliances without the physical presence on the exact location. Our method is easy to control and it is also at a very low cost. This inquire about article guarantees back for the poor individuals with respect to a toll compelling and control sparing who are involved with their works. Siddha system of medicine is a traditional dravidian system of medicine.Siddha system has all potential to prevent and manage diseases through 32 types of internal medicines and external therapies.In addition,various Special therapies proves effective in the management of several ailments.One such Special therapy is Varmam therapy,a manual therapeutic pressure therapy.Varmam therapy has its significant background and still practised and preserved in Kanyakumari district and south kerala.Siddha medicine has vast repository of Literature evidences regarding Varmam,which includes its various school of classification,different manipulation techniques and internal and specific external therapies related to varmam.With this background, this article is as an initial step to elaborate the location of Varmam points of Head on anatomical background and its scientific rationale for indications of various diseases.

 Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) recognized the coronavirus illness (COVID-19), which started in Wuhan, China, as a global pandemic on March 11, 2020. Since then, it has expanded over the entire globe, having an impact on the lives of millions of people. Many nations, including India, instituted citizen lockdowns in an effort to reduce the number of instances. In India, the lockdown was imposed beginning across March 2020 in a number of states and towns. People were forced to stay inside throughout the lockdown, which interfered with their usual daily routines. The current study examines changes in dietary habits brought on by lockdown in three groups: sedentary individuals, gym-goers and athletes. This is a cross-sectional online study where a google form-made questionnaire was used. There were 90 participants in this study, with 30 in each group within age group of 21-29years both male and female. Participants with chronic disorder and athletes playing other sports except team sports or two sports at a time were excluded. It was observed that dietary habits were positively affected due to lockdown since, decrease in the outside food consumption was observed in all the groups. Participants with good physical activity levels pre-lockdown were able to maintain healthy dietary habits during lockdown. In conclusion, lockdown affected dietary habits of all the groups, but the impact was more significant on gym-goers compared to sedentary and athlete group.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Prevention of toddler home accident depend upon a reciprocal relationship between protection and education related to age infants need to be totally protected from home accident, whereas toddlers through education require increasingly less parental protection. Safe behaviour is a learned behaviour gradually acquired in a step by step process with increasing age and experience. The aim of study was to 1. To assess the knowledge level of mothers regarding prevention of home accidents. 2.To associate the knowledge of mothers with selected demographic variables. 3.To develop the information booklet regarding prevention of home accidents. Methods: The research approach adopted for the study was descriptive research approach. The research design adopted for the study was non-experimental research design. non-probability convenience sampling technique was used. The data was collected through the tool which is prepared by the investigator. The sample consists of the 60 mothers. Collected data analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi - square test. Results: The finding show that majority of mothers having more knowledge (mean percentage 61.85%) in the area of management and health education of home accidents, 60.05% in the area of introduction and definition of home accidents, 59% in the area of cases and types of home accidents, 48.78% in the area of prevention and management of home accidents. The overall knowledge mean percentage was 55.3% ?The results showed that there is significant association between knowledge of mothers regarding prevention of home accidents and demographic variables- education status, occupation, economic status. Conclusion: The study revealed that was overall mean knowledge score obtained by the mothers was 16.51and median was 14 with standard deviation 6.03 and the mean percentage was 55.03%. So, this indicates that mothers have some knowledge regarding prevention of home accidents.

 Abstract

The electrical power system has various components such as generators, transformers, transmission lines, etc. We have to protect these components. In the electrical power system, a large number of power conversion steps are required. The lightning arresters, fuses, relays, and circuit breakers are some protective devices of the power system. In the electrical power system, many circuit breakers are introduced and some are still under research. The recently developed circuit breakers play a major role in the electrical power system. But recently developed circuit breakers have some disadvantages compared to this circuit breaker. The recently developed circuit breakers have a complex design structure. The short conducting path and the mutual coupling are the main aspects of this proposed circuit breaker. This circuit breaker is easily switched off in faulty conditions. In this paper, the literature review. Detailed simulation with the help of MATLAB software of the circuit breaker and results are included. This paper also describes the comparison between two circuit breakers based on the various electrical parameters.

 Abstract

Present research is primarily stressed on the impact of agro-environmental factors on crop-land use pattern and for these purpose blocks of Bishnupur subdivision has been selected for the study. So, detail scenario of agricultural land use and block level differentiation of crop land use pattern have been represented and analysed for final extraction of rural development pattern in these blocks. In this regard, proper stress is also given to represent the micro-level land use pattern as well as rural development pattern in the area concerned. The major objective of the present research is to define the determinants of the agro-environmental condition of the research field and to review the land cover and land use pattern of the area concerned with particular reference to agricultural land use and cropping pattern. The harsh climatic condition especially high temperature, low rainfall in that area is not favourable for taking best possible measures for optimal land utilization and management. Crops are uniformly cultivated during the rainy season with the help of rain water, but that also depends on intensity and amount. We have number of crops dominated by paddy in this region. Other crops are potato, Wheat, vegetables, jute, oilseeds etc. All those crops are cultivated in different season during the year. From ground truth observation it has been highlighted that though paddy, till and potato have been highlighted as major crops in mono cropping, double cropping and multiple cropping cultivation but several other crops are cultivated as observed in the crop diversification map.
