 Abstract

Gas leakage is one of the major concerns with residential, commercial LPG users, industries, and LPG/CNG gas-powered vehicles. Gas leakage is a very big threat in our day-to-day lives and can be hazardous to human health and the environment; even a small leak into a building or other confined space may gradually build up an explosive or lethal concentration of gas that may cause the death of human beings. One of the simplest methods to take preventive measures is to avoid the hazard associated with gas systems is to install gas leakage detectors at vulnerable locations and provide mechanisms for remote monitoring. There will be some observance to take quick action to prevent the explosion accidentally. We have proposed a gas leakage monitoring and prevention system using IOT principles to monitor the mobile app's safety measures. This paper describes the system that detects the spillage of the gas in a particular area using a gas sensor and immediately alerts the individual in the form of blinking the light and using Wi-Fi to send the alert messages via the Blynk app, and exhaust fan is used to scattered gas concentration to cut down the damages and save the lives.

 Abstract

Introduction: Nutrition in children with nephrotic syndrome is very important and requires attention. Epidemiological and clinical studies have shown that nutritional deficiencies decrease immune responses and increase the risk of infectious diseases. Nutritional status can relate with the incidence of relapse in children with nephrotic syndrome. This study aims to assess the nutritional status of children with nephrotic syndrome. Materials and method: This study was a descriptive study on two to eighteen years old children with idiophatic nephrotic syndrome in the pediatric outpatient clinic of Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya from January-April 2021. The SPSS application is used to process the datas. Diagnosis of nutritional status was made from parameters of weight to height/length, for children aged >5 years based on the 2000 CDC-NCHS curve and for children aged ?5 years based on the WHO curve. Results: A total of 70 subjects met the inclusion criteria. The majority of the subjects were male and the median age was 9 years (2-18 years). There were 13 subjects with first attack nephrotic syndrome, 31 subjects with steroid dependent nephrotic syndrome (SDNS)/frequent relapse nephrotic syndrome (FRNS) and 26 subjects with steroid resistant nephrotic syndrome (SRNS). Overall, the majority of nutritional status in children with nephrotic syndrome were normal and the possible risk of overweight (64.3%), followed by overweight and obesity (24.2%) and malnutrition (11.5%). Conclusion: The majority nutritional status of all children with nephrotic syndrome is normal and possible risk of overweight, as well as in each type of nephrotic syndrome.

 Abstract

The basic idea of wireless sensor network which are capable enough to sense changes or incidents with other devices. Some of the major roles of these sensors are to monitor environment or geographic zone. These senor techniques are combined with some processing power and wireless communication to provide security and information related to the various activities happening around . So this paper begins with the brief description/information about the architecture and application of wireless sensor network and then focus on the challenges of wireless sensor network.

 Abstract

Background:- Learning disabilities in school age children are one of the common problems that need the special attention from family, neighbors, social circles and teachers. Teachers are the primary that directly interacts with the kids & find out the child who is having difficulty in learning process. Teachers play a vast role in early diagnosis of student learning issues. Methods: - A Non-experimental Descriptive Research Design & Quantitative Research Approach was used to assess the Learning disabilities .A convenient sampling technique was used to collect the data from elementary school teachers. Data was collected using self structured knowledge questionnaire. The main study data collection was obtained from 500 primary school teachers from 39 selected schools at district Dholpur Rajasthan from 05-12-20 to 30-3-21. Ethical clearance was obtained from Desh Bhagat University Mandi Gobindgarh Punjab and District Education Officer Elementary Dholpur Rajasthan study was found ethically exempted. Results: - The study result revealed that majority 80% from urban area and 79.39% from rural area had average level of awareness whereas 2.69% of elementary school teachers from urban area and 1.82% from rural area had poor level of awareness. There was no association found between levels of awareness with selected socio-demographic variables. (p<0.05). Conclusion: - 80% of elementary school teachers were having the average levels of awareness about learning disabilities, while comparing with rural & urban school teachers there was no difference found about the level of awareness regarding learning disabilities.. There was no association found between levels of awareness score with selected socio-demographic variables.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Objectives: (i) To assess the level of knowledge regarding causes, transmission, prevention & management of HIV/AIDS among the students. (ii) To associate the level of knowledge among the students with selected demographic variables. Methods and Material: A descriptive research design was undertaken for this study. The population of the study consists of Nursing first Year students at selected School of Nursing. With the sample size of 50 were selected by using non probability convenient sampling. Result: Regarding knowledge on causes, transmission, prevention, and management of HIV among 50 samples 24(48%) had inadequate knowledge & 15(30%) had moderate adequate knowledge & 11(22%) had adequate knowledge. The chi- square test reveals that there was a significant association on age, sex and type of Family at the p<0.05 level. Conclusion: The study concluded that the most of the students are not having adequate knowledge regarding the causes, transmission, prevention, and management of HIV and there was significant association in age, sex and type of Family among the students.

 Abstract

Credit card fraud events take place frequently and then result in huge financial losses. The number of online transactions has grown in large quantities and online credit card transactions hold a huge share of these transactions. It is vital that credit card companies are able to identify fraudulent credit card transactions so that customers are not charged for items that they did not purchase. Such problems can be tackled with Data Science and its importance, along with Machine Learning, cannot be overstated. This project intends to illustrate the modelling of a data set using machine learning with Credit Card Fraud Detection. The Credit Card Fraud Detection Problem includes modelling past credit card transactions with the data of the ones that turned out to be fraud. Credit Card Fraud Detection is a typical sample of classification. In this process, we have focused on analyzing and pre-processing data sets as well as the deployment of multiple anomaly detection algorithms such as Local Outlier Factor and Isolation Forest algorithm and classification algorithms such as Random Forest on the PCA transformed Credit Card Transaction data.

 Abstract

AIM: The goal of this study is to learn more about the clinical features and efficacy of Lenvatinib, an orally active inhibitor of several receptor tyrosine kinases, in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. METHOD: 92 individuals with hepatocellular cancer were enrolled in a multicentre, randomised, non-inferiority trial. Lenvatinib (12mg orally once daily) was given to patients in a 1:1 ratio. RESULTS: The majority of patients (67.8%) were men. Child-Pugh A was found in 44.6% of the population, whereas Child-Pugh B was found in 39.1 %. In 9 % of cases, dose decreases were noted. PFS and OS medians were not reached. The benchmark PFS and OS at 6 and 12 months were 85.1 and 64.9 %, respectively, and 91.8 and 72.6 %, respectively. CONCLUSION: Lenvatinib therapy was shown to be effective and safe.

 Abstract

The consumption of junk food increases the risk of obesity, cardio-vascular disease, worsens appetite and digestion. The main objective of this project was to estimate the possibility of using watermelon rind, a fruit waste for production of functional foods. Studies show that Rind and seeds are rich source of dietary fiber and bioactive compounds and it could be used in various nutraceuticals. In this project the watermelon rind was ground into fine paste and utilized in chips. The chips were formulated with watermelon rind and composite flour (masoor dal, moong dal, channa dal, soybean dal), salt and pepper. The valorization of watermelon rind fortified with composite flour as a simple baked snack product has a major advantage of being an easy and light food. It is also a protein enriching snack. The final product was tested to have high dietary fiber and low fat content with nil trans-fat. It also had appreciable amount of protein.
