The paper titled: The Emergent Woman in Alice Walkers Meridian highlights how black women are triply burdened and attempts to examine Walkers attitude to life, love, sex, marriage, men and spirituality against the background of her powerful work, within the context of a racist, sexist and capitalist society. The focus is on spiritual survival- the survival whole of my people. But beyond that, the paper is committed to exploring the oppressions, the insanities, the loyalties and the triumphs of black women. The paper is categorized into three parts- Part 1 discusses Walker as a Womanist and defines in Walkers terms what the womanist tenets imply. It also justifies the selection of the novel Meridian and explains how Meridian in the first part of the novel is introduced into Initiation. Part 11 discusses Meridians active participation in the Civil Rights Movement after the Renunciation of her child. Part 111 focuses on the final chapter Ending and on Meridian atonement and ultimate release from bondage thereby concluding that Meridians growth and emergence of a strong woman is successfully constructed. Conclusively, the paper justifies Alice Walkers celebration of blackness, black roots and the aspirations of black womanhood and presents a balanced picture of black womanhood. It also describes the task of Alice Walker as a writer to give back to black woman their own black woman self, their beauty, physical and sexual strength, motherhood, sisterhood and wifehood.

A graph G with p vertices and q edges is called a harmonic mean graph if it is possible to label the vertices x?V with distinct labels f(x) from {1,2,..q+1} in such a way that each edge e = uv is labeled with f(uv) = ?(2f(u)f(v))/(f(u)+f(v))? (or) ?(2f(u)f(v))/(f(u)+f(v))? then the edge labels are distinct. In this case f is called Harmonic mean labeling of G. In this paper we prove that some families of graphs such as H- super subdivision of Y-Tree HSS(Y_(n+1)), HSS(Y_(n+1)) ?? K?_1, HSS(Y_(n+1)) ?(K_2 ) ?, HSS(Y_(n+1)) ?? K?_2 are harmonic mean graphs.

Edge detection is a process of identifying and detecting sharp discontinuities in an image. The discontinuities are abrupt changes in pixel intensity gray level value. Although a number of various techniques for detection of edges are available, but amongst all these edge detection techniques, the canny edge detection algorithm is the best, most effective and the widely used method for edge detection because it consists of a number of adjustable parameters which can affect the speed and effectiveness of the algorithm. We address two practical issues, namely smoothing factor selection and efficient implementation of thresholding in implementing Canny edge detection algorithm. Detecting the accurate edges or boundaries ease the location of objects in the image and parameters like shape, area can be measured easily. This paper presents a brief study on improved versions of canny edge detection. This paper contributes to present existing novel approaches to improve detection using canny edge detection.

The blend of ANSYS and ADAMS can improve the accuracy of framework reproduction. In this paper, initial, a link stayed space support, comprising of stay links, segments, and the space bracket, is worked in ANSYS. Second, the modular impartial record (mnf) required in ADAMS is produced by executing the large scale order "ADAMS" and afterward brought into ADAMS programming. Third, the adaptable body in the mnf document is associated with the inflexible body worked in ADAMS through the outside hubs determined in ANSYS, and afterward the dynamic investigation can be done. Accordingly, the heap record required by ANSYS could be acquired by tapping on the menu "Document Export". At long last, the heap record is brought into ANSYS programming by the APDL language and the static examinations relating to various burden steps are completed. The reproduction examination shows a decent presentation and a few outcomes we are keen on are acquired.

Big data analysis has been getting a lot of attention in many industries. Visualization plays an important role not only in intuitively showing the results of data analysis but also in the whole process of collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and sharing data. This paper presents a procedure for the interactive visualization and analysis of data using Tableau as a business intelligence tool. Methods: Starting with installation of the Tableau Desktop Personal version 10.3, this paper describes the process of understanding and visualizing data using an example. The example data of information of students of an institution are fictitious and are used solely for the purpose of experimentation. Results: To explore the visualization of data using Tableau for beginners, this paper describes the creation of a simple view for the statistics of the expenditures and income of a fictional education institution. Since Tableau provides various visualizations and customization, the level of analysis can be increased with small multiples, view filtering, mark cards, and Tableau charts. Conclusions: Tableau is a software that can help users explore and understand their data by creating interactive visualizations. The software has the advantages that it can be used in conjunction with almost any data base, and it is easy to use by dragging and dropping to create an interactive visualization expressing the desired format.

The application of the base isolation techniques to protect structures against damage from earthquake attacks has been considered as one of the most effective approaches and has gained increasing acceptance during the last two decades. This is because base isolation limits the effects of the earthquake attack, a flexible base largely decoupling the structure from the ground motion, and the structural response accelerations are usually less than the ground acceleration. Seismic isolation is being used worldwide to protect the structures like buildings, bridges etc. from the destructive effects of earthquakes. In base isolation the base becomes horizontally flexible, which strengthen the structure against earthquakes. There are so many factors and suitability explained for application of base isolation techniques. The conventional technique for a seismic design of structures is to strengthen the structural members in order to protect them against strong earthquakes. The special techniques to minimize inter story drifts and floor accelerations are increasingly being adopted. Base isolation is a design methodology that serves to decouple a structure from the strong ground motions caused by earthquakes. This decoupling of the structure typically occurs at the ground level, between the super-structure and the foundation. Base isolation is to prevent the superstructure of the building from absorbing the earthquake energy. In seismic isolation, the fundamental aim is to reduce substantially the transmission of the earthquake forces and energy into the structure. This is achieved by mounting the structure on an isolation system with considerable horizontal flexibility so that during an earthquake, when the ground vibrates strongly under the structure, only moderate motions are induced within the structure itself.

Ocular allergy represents one of the most common conditions encountered by optometrists in their clinics. Allergic conjunctivitis is often underappreciated and undertreated. It is rarely vision threatening but can significantly decrease the quality of life for patients. In India, a large number of urban population is deemed to be affected and this number was growing in pre-covid era .The vast increase in ocular allergy in clinics has been attributed to enhanced pollution level in the cities. An attempt was made to review this relatively less explored topic through multidisciplinary collaborations. This review provides a summary of the forms of ocular allergies, with a focus on symptoms and signs, impact on quality of life and therapeutic options of allergic conjunctivitis.

Digital video watermarking is used for copyright protection and authentication of multimedia data in a networked environment like government information , military and defence data etc. It makes possible to identify the author, owner, distributor or authorized consumer of a document. In this paepr, we propose a new video watermarking approach based on discrete wavelet transform(DWT), discrete cosine transform(DCT) and singular value decomposition(SVD) technique in order to protect digital media copyright efficiently. The aim for this work is to achieve low payload with high robustness. The robustness of this technique is tested by applying different types of attacks. Proposed scheme is used to get good image quality of watermark image with better peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR), correlation coefficient(CR) and payload.

In the present work, we present an image database of isolated Handwritten Telugu Characters, used in the standard Telugu literature. There are 18 vowels, 36 consonants in Telugu language. Of which, only around 52 character classes are commonly used. These classes form unique pattern shapes and some of these are often written in multiple styles. Altogether 10,400 isolated character images, belonging to 200 different individuals are collected in our work. The database is divided into training and test sets in 7:3 ratio for each pattern class. A Convolutional Neural Network has been designed and the test set recognition performance is reported using this network. We have achieved a recognition accuracy of 80% on the test database consisting of 52 classes.

The situation of migration in India during Covid -19 has resulted in massive chaos around the country. News headlines are filled with situational accidents, deaths and struggles of migrant workers all over the world, especially in India with a 135.26 crore population (2018). The migrant workers are among the worst hit due to the pandemic, yet the most vulnerable among the vulnerable communities consist of children of these migrant workers, labourers. During the migration of around 455.78 million people in India, the invisibles and most vulnerable Children of our society face a lot of hurdles, especially that they suffer to fulfil basic necessities for themselves. The 2011 census reports nearly 92.95 million migrant children migrate were found in India. The migrant children population of rural areas comprise 56% and urban account (44%). The migrant children have a stark division among them coming from well off and not so well off or poor households. The division studied by MPCE (monthly per capita expenditure) and the vulnerabilities faced by children show that children in bottom tercile households are bad in comparison to the middle tercile households. This clearly highlights the inequality existing in the Indian society in consideration to the children migrating. This paper aims at analyzing the areas where migrant children have been suffering in India, especially during the pandemic outbreak. The objective is to study in-depth data around migrant childrens health, labour conditions, trafficking, and education. The paper also put emphasis on government programs, initiatives and policies that are formalized in order to help migrant workers children and other vulnerable children during Covid-19 crisis. The paper utilises secondary data in order to incorporate a clear understanding of the topic. Analysis of secondary data is assessed by evaluating information and literary outcome of various articles like UN reports, UNICEF analysis, WHO reports on malnutrition, health, News/article platforms like The Hindu, Frontline & The Wire. Scrutinization of pertinent articles will assist in getting maximum current, updated and in-depth information about the topic thereby assisting at forming an outcome useful for readers. The high cost and fluctuating quality as well as the uncertain availability of fish meal have led to the need to identify alternative protein sources for fish feed formulation. .The fish Oreochromis mossambicus were collected from Aliyar dam near Pollachi and they were acclimatized. The selected plants (Moringa oleifera and Amaranthus crutenus) were collected, washed, shade dried and powdered using electric pulverizer. The feed was prepared by using basal ingredients like rice bran, coconut oil cake, chicken waste and corn flour as a binder. The feed was dried and stored in refrigerator. The fishes were fed with these supplemented feed for 120 days and the results were obtained for every15days once for growth parameter. The haematological parameters were done on the end of the experimental day (120DAT).The biochemical parameters on the muscle tissue of fishes were done on initial and final day of the experiment. The data were subjected to one way ANOVA and the means were separated using least significant differences (LSD). From the15th day after treatment (DAT) to120th day after treatment (DAT) the Fishes fed with 5% Moringa oleifera supplemented feed showed maximum increase in length. From the15th day after treatment (DAT) to120th day after treatment (DAT) the Fishes fed with 5% Amaranthus crutenus supplemented feed showed maximum increase in weight, specific growth rate, total feed consumed, condition factor, survival rate and feed conversion ratio. At the end of the experiment haematological parameters on RBC,WBC,HB, Platelets, PCV, MCV, MCH and MCHC was found to be maximum in 5% Amaranthus crutenus supplemented fishes. The biochemical parameter on protein, carbohydrate, lipid and amino acid was found to be maximum in 5% Amaranthus crutenus supplemented fishes. The above result indicates that there is possibilities of using selected plant powders supplemented feed for Oreochromis mossambicus.

Abstract - World is facing pandemic situation, in which more than 1.65 millions are affected cases and almost 6.5 lakh death has occurred as of 28 july,2020. Despite worldwide efforts to control it, the virus is continuing to spread for want of a prophylaxis and therapeutic strategy. Soon the virus started spreading many prophylactic measures evolved. Some of them are proven theories while some are not. In managing a communicable pandemic, it is logical and essential to explore Ayurveda which helps in addressing the COVID-19 challenge. Ayurveda aware of such viral situation may manifest in upcoming eras. Ayurveda told to follow the dincharya which gives overall protection from various diseases and increase the lifespan. Utilization of our traditional science in covid patients has already started in few of institutes and its effective. Now its right time when the AYUSH systems come into mainstream and transform Indian healthcare system. The preventive measures developed recently those only deals with local prophylaxis, which are recently developed theories in few months. Whereas Dincharya adaptation includes local prophylaxis (Cleansing eyes, nose and mouth), systemic prophylaxis (diet, sleep, pranayam etc.), social prophylaxis (dos & donts in social life) and immune boosters (rasayan sevan). By doing all this, protects from several diseases and boosts immunity. These measures may hence function as physiological masks barricading the viral invasion. Only healthy living adaption can give healthy long life, which is an easy deal with life. After all in routine every human being follows the tag line Prevention is better than cure.
