ABSTRACT: This review article deals with the comprehensive study on various techniques being adopted for biomedical waste management for the safe disposal as if not treated at the appropriate time using appropriate methods, biomedical waste can cause havoc in the environment and for human health. The purpose of this study is to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the various treatment methods for different categories of medical waste management and their underlying technologies and to observe the impact of biomedical waste mismanagement; also to ascertain the level of progress made by India in this field. The research methodologies used are the combination of literature review, key informant interview and case studies. Biomedical waste is the waste generated during medical activities in hospitals & Clinics, biological laboratory work or research work. It is essential to classify the waste into different categories for ease of scientific biomedical waste management. The biomedical waste can be categorized in to four types, namely, general, infectious, hazardous and radioactive and accordingly strategies being adopted for its safe disposal. General medical waste is non-toxic matter similar to domestic waste. Infectious waste are the materials which have the potency to spread contagious diseases, these waste have been in contact with body fluids. Hazardous waste like used syringes; old drugs etc. can be ignitable, corrosive, reactive, or even toxic to human health. Radioactive waste is produced from nuclear medicine treatment, chemotherapies, radiation therapies, and medical equipment that use radioactive isotopes. These wastes should be treated with utmost care as a fraction of radioactive material can initiate a biohazard. Studies estimate that 15% biomedical waste is infectious in nature and hazardous waste accounts for 5%of the quantity. For hazardous and radioactive medical waste management, we should have a cradle to grave approach. Effective management is mandatory for healthy human sustenance and a clean environment, failure of which can lead to catastrophic damage to human health at mass level.

In the early Sangam phase, taboos pertaining to determination of purity or impurity given the biological process concerning a female body were almost nill. Whereas in the late Sangam literature, we come across references pertaining to the inferiority of the fairer sex, determined on the basis of biological distinctions.

MANET is utilized in many fields because of its advantage in quickly establishing networks. The network will perform well if mobile nodes trust each other and act cooperatively. However, dynamic topology characteristics and frequent connection failures by the movement of nodes make routing difficult and cause vulnerability to be easily exposed. Therefore, the routing provided in the MANET should have security features that can reduce the damage to various attacks. For this, in this paper, it is proposed for a trust evaluation method of nodes using cluster structure and a secure data transmission technique through key exchange without CA. The proposed technique adopted a hierarchical structure to enhance the efficiency of the reliability evaluation of nodes. The reliability measurement reflects the quality of packets as well as the number of packets and the measured reliability is maintained by the trust management node. The integrity of the data transmission is improved through key exchange without CA between the nodes. In order to increase the efficiency of routing, anomaly nodes are detected by DSN checking of nodes that generate excessive traffic on the path when data is transmitted.

No-fines concrete is used nowadays as special concrete. This concrete is eliminating the use of fine aggregates in normal concrete. It is specially used in pavement blocks which are used in Industrial area. Its higher porosity helps in permeating rain water directly helps in refreshing groundwater aquifer. This concrete has high porosity due to this behavior relative density is lower than normal concrete. This is also reducing dead weight in the structure. The compressive strength of this concrete is also lower than normal concrete. This concrete is mix with different ratios of aggregate/cement and it helps find different properties like chemical, physical and mechanical.

Machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques are being used to solve many real world problems. These techniques are highly effective, minimal effort and saving huge amount of time. Now people are invested in stock market or share market for yielding huge amount of money. Stock market is association of buyers and sellers. But in stock market, any time the stock value will grow or down according to the economic trends. So these changes could affect your share value and some times that decreases your profit. So stock market prediction is very necessary for avoiding this loss. We will propose a system that predicts the stock market value based on social sentiments using machine learning. We will collect the tweets from twitter API and Social media data to perform sentiment analysis and at same time collect data from Social media . Then find the correlation of historical data and extracted twitter data. This relational value used to determine the predicted outcome. This prediction system could greatly help stock investors in taking desired decision which could affect the profit of stock.

Water quality profile based on physicochemical parameters is short and easy approach to assess present status of any water body. Reservoirs have social and economic importance for humans, as they bring industrial, agricultural and urban development, contributing with hydroelectricity and supplying water for human consumption and irrigation. Uttarmand is a medium irrigation project constructed across the river Uttarmand, a tributary of Krishna river in Patan Tahsil of Satara district in Maharashtra. Various anthropogenic activities adversely affect physicochemical parameters of the water. Thus, water quality assessment from selected sampling stations of the reservoir was carried out from January, 2019 to December, 2019. The water quality parameters analyzed includes temperature, pH, turbidity, total dissolve solid (TDS), total hardness, alkalinity, chlorides, free CO2, dissolved oxygen, BOD, phosphate and nitrate. Variation in physicochemical parameter was observed which gives baseline information in water quality monitoring strategies.

Background: Gastric ulcer disease remains the most common gastrointestinal disease. This affects about 4 million people every year worldwide with an incidence of 1.5%-3% and 2-14% of these will progress to perforation. Mortality is reported in 30% of cases and caused morbidity in 50% of patients. Some studies have suggested that mortality in patients with peritonitis accompanied by candidiasis ranges from 20%-75%, whereas others have argued that the presence of fungal isolates in patients with perforated peptic ulcer does not affect the outcome. A recent study reported an incidence of 45% of patients peptic ulcer perforation cases accompanied by candidiasis in Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya in 2019. Methods: This was a cross sectional study based on medical record data of patients with gastric ulcer perforation accompanied by candidiasis who underwent laparotomy and gastric repair surgery at Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya from January 2019 to December 2020. Results: There was no significant correlation between candidiasis and mortality in gastric ulcer perforation patients (p=0.989). Conclusion: Candidiasis does not increase mortality in patients with gastric ulcer perforation.

An IoT-based vehicle theft detection and remote engine locking system is GPS technology that helps the users identify the vehicle in theft mode and enables the controlling mechanism technique. At present day scenario, there is a rise in the number of vehicle thefts exponentially. Criminals are becoming smarter day by day and have reached the stage of applications present against the existing vehicle safety system. Vehicle theft has become a major issue which should be traced and prevented. The proposed system overcomes most of the limitations and the cost effectiveness and also reducing complications by making use of few high-priced products like ignition key. In proposed method we have the extension for controlling mechanisms which remotely locks the vehicle engine and prevents the theft. In proposed technique, user start/stop the vehicle either by using the android application or by the ignition keypad-based security unlocking system, tracks exact location (latitude, longitude) of the vehicle using the application anywhere any time. Android application is very helpful for locking the vehicle engine in case of theft and upon rash driving of vehicles. In this way vehicles are provided with better controlling mechanism and thus reducing the crimes.

Since its first discovery in an Iranian male in 1961, zinc deficiency in humans is now known to be an important malnutrition problem world-wide. It is more prevalent in areas of high cereal and low animal food consumption. The diet may not necessarily be low in zinc, but its bio-availability plays a major role in its absorption. Phytic acid is the main known inhibitor of zinc. Compared to adults, infants, children, adolescents, pregnant, and lactating women have increased requirements for zinc and thus, are at increased risk of zinc depletion. Zinc deficiency during growth periods results in growth failure.

The dental plaque-induced periodontal disease presents the characteristic signs of inflammation and loss of supporting periodontal tissue. Biofilm removal, antibiotics along disinfectants are considered conventional methods of periodontal therapy. However, it has some limitations. Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (PDT) seems to be a unique and interesting therapeutic approach toward periodontal therapy. There is a great need to develop an evidence-based approach to the use of PDT for the treatment of periodontitis and periimplantitis. However, the low wavelength lasers exhibiting deep tissue penetration basically do not interact with the periodontal tissues within the pocket. Therefore, PDT as a low-level therapy with short irradiation time does not produce any thermal change within the gingival tissue and root surface or destruction of the intact attachment apparatus at the base of pockets. PDT may be an effective way to treat the bacteria linked to periodontal diseases and could provide a better option than antibiotics or other mechanical methods for treating periodontal diseases and may prove to be a promising alternative to conventional periodontal therapy in near future.

Electricity is critical and increasingly demanded. A great deal of energy was lost and depleted. When walking on a population of humans, an alternative means of generating energy was found; the vibration between the surface and the move was wasted. The use of this wasteful energy will create and satisfy demand for electrical energy. An electric transducer is the transducer that detects the vibration. This transducer turns mechanical energy into power. If the pressure is applied from the footstep to the electric transducer, the pressure or force is converted into the electricity. In series parallel communication the electric transducer is connected. Then, the electric transducers are mounted Using a wooden tile as a pattern phase tiles. This tile can be positioned in a crowded environment, on foot or on training tools. Power up low power devices can produce electricity from this electric tile
