Traffic sign detection and recognition have gained importance with advances in image processing due to the benefits that such a system may provide. The recent developments and interest in self-driving cars have also increased the interest in this field. Automatic detection and recognition of traffic signs is very important and could potentially be used for driver assistance to reduce accidents and eventually in driverless automobiles. There are many sign boards on roads that people are unaware of. They might have seen traffic or road signs all the time but don't understand what those signs are indicating. Our Traffic Sign Recognition System detects and recognizes road signs or traffic signs from an image and video. It will also recognize signs in real-time using CNN. Here, Deep Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is used to develop Autonomous Traffic or Road Sign

Abstract Background: India's will to pursue much-needed fiscal changes under a federal system has been warmly praised at face value. This was evident when India abandoned her old convoluted and ineffective tax system in favour of the eagerly anticipated Goods and Services Tax (GST). Since its introduction, it has been a major economic development since independence and needs to have the facts verified. The shortcomings of the current indirect tax legislation have been addressed by the introduction of the GST. It is accurate to see the government's July 1, 2017, implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as an unprecedented move. Method: The research methodology used in this study is exploratory research. secondary sources considered to compile information. The Journey of GST, spanning six years from the day of implementation to January 2024. Result: The paper intends to offer insights into the evolution and results of GST through a thorough examination, illuminating its role in forming India's tax landscape and supporting the more general objectives of economic development and simplified taxes.

Movies are popular for their portrayal of the different genders. The study looks at the objectification of female characters and its impact on the contemporary issue of sexual violence against women in India. The analysis and findings are based on objectification theory, male gaze theory and feminist theory. The study shows that the sexual objectification of women in the selected films is stereotypical and they are mostly portrayed as sex objects or objects of the male gaze. The study concludes that the sexual objectification of women can evoke unhealthy social and physical instincts in viewers and provoke the risk of sexual violence.

ABSTRACT IMPORTANCE : SSIs occur either during or up to 30 days after a surgical procedure, largely avoidable with proper infection control measures. SSIs often need to be treated with additional antibiotics, and may require interventional procedures or even re-operation. SSIs can lead to major complications, including death, as well as significantly increase the cost of care. This review focuses on postoperative strategies specifically aiming to prevent SSI, rather than other surgical site incidences or complications. OBJECTIVE : On completion of this article, the reader should be able to understand and summarize surgical care improvement and post operative wound care to reduce surgical site infection. METHODS : A vigorous, maximum sensitive and online search of the literature was performed in published articles in the last 24 years (JUNE 2000-JUNE 2024). The databases searched were MEDLINE (via PubMed) and Cochrane Library. CONCLUSION : Largely avoidable with proper infection control measures, SSIs occur either during or up to 30 days after a surgical procedure. SSIs often need to be treated with additional antibiotics, and may require interventional procedures or even re-operation. SSIs can lead to major complications, including death, as well as significantly increase the cost of care. It is estimated that, at the very least, 5% of patients who undergo surgery develop a surgical site infection (SSI). There has been much interest in the use of negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) as a prophylactic treatment to reduce the risk of SSI. Evidence suggests it can accelerate healing times, reduce both the length of hospital stay and the frequency of dressing changes, and improve patients' quality of life.

Sodium fluoride, a metal and environmental factor found in freshwater bodies, can alter enzymatic parameters and impair a variety of physiological and metabolic processes in fish. The primary goal of this research was to determine the effect of sodium fluoride toxicity on freshwater fish Rita rita's biochemical content, specifically the levels of liver enzymes like aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine transaminase (ALT). Toxic effects of sodium fluoride on freshwater fish Rita Rita, displayed linearly elevated AST and ALP levels. This investigation suggests that serum enzymatic parameters may serve as useful indicators for evaluating biomarkers in sodium fluoride induced eco-toxicological research.

This research paper delves into the intricate dynamics of peer pressure among high school students, aiming to unravel its prevalence, impact, and students' coping strategies within educational environments. Through a survey-based methodology, 100 high school students participated in structured questionnaires, providing insights into their experiences with peer influence. The findings underscore the pervasive nature of peer pressure, with a substantial portion of students acknowledging its presence in various spheres of their lives. Academic pressure emerged as a dominant theme, indicating the significant impact of scholastic expectations on students' behaviors and decision-making processes. However, challenges were evident in seeking support from trusted adults and navigating peer pressure situations effectively, highlighting the need for targeted interventions and supportive environments within high schools. The study emphasizes the importance of proactive strategies, including fostering positive peer relationships, promoting open dialogue, and equipping students with coping mechanisms.

The 1952 Tamil movie 'Parasakthi' shocked the Dogmatic Tamil Society which had never seen before the fiery and fervour lines of dialogue. It was the first film to talk about Dravidian Ideology and Rationality. It has introduced various syntax and symbolic elements to emphasize the Dravidian concepts and principles. The climax courtroom dialogues defined Dravidian Ideology. It triggered a wave of radicalism in Indian popular culture and slapped social inequality. The movie strongly questioned the primary constitution and social law as a precursor of social reforms. It challenged all the wrong beliefs and overthrew religious myths. This movie in the name of God was not against God but against the atrocities in the name of God. The dialogue" Ambal is a stone, it won't talk" produces turbulence among religious cultists and that one word 'Ambal' created a buzz. Some people who could not bear this shock demanded a ban saying Parasakthi hurt religious sentiments. This movie was considered one of the most controversial flicks in the history of Tamil cinema. The questions and criticisms raised by the film Parasakthi have not changed even today. The movie tasted unprecedented success and cemented its action by employing cinema as a medium of propaganda and enabling social reform.

Neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Parkinson's disease (PD), cause significant impairment by affecting neurons in the central nervous system (CNS). These conditions lead to progressive nerve cell degeneration and death, resulting in movement disorders like ataxia and cognitive impairments such as dementia. AD alone accounts for 60-70% of dementia cases worldwide.A growing body of research highlights a link between neurodegenerative and metabolic disorders. Insulin signaling abnormalities, common in older adults with pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), are also observed in AD and PD. Although the exact mechanisms connecting these disorders remain unclear, shared pathological features such as inflammation, insulin resistance, and oxidative stress suggest a common link. This overlap has spurred interest in repurposing antidiabetic drugs for treating neurodegenerative diseases.Antidiabetic medications, particularly those targeting insulin resistance and inflammation, offer potential as disease-modifying treatments for AD and PD. Despite the challenges in developing effective therapies for these neurodegenerative conditions, exploring the use of antidiabetic drugs presents a promising avenue for future research and therapeutic strategies. This review focuses on the potential of repurposing antidiabetic treatments to manage and possibly alter the course of AD and PD.

The anti-inflammatory qualities of ginger and its active ingredients in osteoarthritis are gaining recognition despite the herb's long history of health benefits. Certain active ingredients in ginger have properties in common with synthetic medications such non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines. Ginger inhibits prostaglandin and leukotrienes by upregulating the expression of 5-lipooxygenase, cyclooxygenase 1, and cyclooxygenase 2. Inhibiting many genes associated in the initiation of the inflammatory response is another important function of ginger. Enzyme-encoding genes, chemokines, and cytokines are among them. Ginger has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic qualities without causing adverse effects on the kidneys or gastrointestinal tract. Up to 2-2.5 g of ginger per kg of body weight is considered a safe dosage without any negative effects. To validate ginger's potential as a treatment for osteoarthritis, more research on human subjects is required. This review established ginger's excellent bioactive profile and the therapeutic benefits of these active ingredients. The information in this review is current and covers the benefits of applying and consuming ginger for osteoarthritis pain reduction and enhanced knee function.

It makes sense that we would want to learn from nature's long history of problem-solving and improvement in order to address our own sustainable design challenges, given that nature has spent billions of years refining and solving many of the issues that humans face today. While plenty of research has been done on the design of more sustainable buildings, little has been done on ecologically sustainable design approaches that might decrease resource waste by understanding how natural systems adapt. The purpose of this study is to study biomimicry in architecture as a possible remedy for environmentally friendly building design. In order to look into how biomimicry has been used in the built environment so far, it examines two case studies in addition to evaluating the fundamental ideas and developments in the field. It is anticipated that this study will show how taking cues from nature in the form of skeletal efficiency, water efficiency, thermal environment, and energy supply can lead to more sustainable building designs.

The category of single mothers is fluid and ambiguous. Single mothers are not new to Russia, as most of the roughly twenty-seven million Russians who died in the Second World War were men, leaving many mothers single. However, in New Russia with the shedding of the socialist character of the state and the withdrawal of the social safety net, the situation of single mothers has taken a new turn. Capitalist influences in Russia have changed what it is to be a single mother in Russia. Disillusioned with the 'weak men' and the state, women often end up embracing new aspects of capitalism. Though, it is seen that single-mother households are among post-soviet Russia's poorest, as they cannot count on either child support, subsidies or a life-long job, they face considerably less social stigma than what Soviet-single mothers faced. This provides some women especially those living with their mothers with the joy of bringing up their children without the handicap of a jobless or alcoholic father. Today most single mothers prefer to stay with their mother, aunt or other female relatives helping them at least in domestic unpaid work. On the other hand, those without any family support or state support constitute the most vulnerable section of society. This paper thus tries to look into the situation of single mothers in New Russia with its capitalist economy altering the fate of single mothers.
