 Abstract

Household food security is an important measure of well-being. Although it may not encapsulate all dimensions of poverty, the inability of households to obtain access to enough food for an active, healthy life is surely an important component of their poverty The objective of the study was to understand and improve the variety of food consumed among rural households, specifically in terms of diet diversity. By analysing the effectiveness of interventions about the specific needs and challenges of rural communities and improving women's understanding about nutrition and food diversity in rural families. Totally 200 subjects, under various age groups, were conveniently selected from the rural household families of Wayanad, Kerala. A study was conducted among the subjects. The collected data was sorted and evaluated using a statistical package for the social sciences. The data shows that the consumption of various food groups that provide adequate nutrients to their diet is consumed in less by rural household women Choosing foods from all food groups ensures that household women, as well as everyone else, obtain the necessary nutrients for optimal health, energy, and well-being.

This term has also its secured position as a hot topic in recent research works since the awareness on environmental management and sustainable development has been increasingly rising day by day all-round the globe. Today the topic Green HRM not only includes awareness toward environmental affairs, but also stands for the social as well as economic well-being of both the organization and the employees within a broader prospect. Before proceeding further, first of all we take up the question, "what is Green HRM?" Different authors have given different definitions for this term such as-- "Green HRM is the use of HRM policies to promote the sustainable use of resources within organizations and, more generally promotes the causes of environment sustainability". GHRM is directly responsible in creating green workforce that understands, appreciates, and practices green initiative and maintains its green objectives all throughout the HRM process of recruiting, hiring, training, compensating, developing, and advancing the firms human capital. It refers to the policies, practices, and systems that make employees of the organization green for the benefit of the individual, society, natural environment, and the business.

 Abstract

This paper presents the design and verification of a dual-core RISC-V processor. The RISC-V instruction set architecture (ISA) has gained significant attention due to its flexibility, modularity, and extensibility. We designed a dual-core RISC-V processor with a 3-stage pipeline (fetch, decode, execute) and implemented it using Verilog HDL. The processor was verified using various EDA tools, including EDA Playground, Cadence Incisive, and Xilinx Vivado. The results demonstrate the feasibility and advantages of building customized processors based on the open RISC-V ISA. This work contributes to the growing ecosystem of RISC-V-based processor designs and the exploration of advanced microarchitectural techniques to improve efficiency.

 Abstract

This research provides information on the prevalence of cyberchondria and its correlation with demographic characteristics using data from Scientific World Journal. Internet-based medical information is becoming a major component of patient education. Numerous websites on health are readily accessible. Searching the Internet before going for a medical consultation has become common. The analysis of the results indicates a strong correlation between the history of metabolic illnesses and cyberchondria (CYB). The cyberchondria severity scale (CSS) was used to quantify the prevalence of cyberchondria and related components. Increasing wide public awareness is essential to reducing the potential negative effects of cyberchondria, such as anxiety and sadness. This cross-sectional research examines how smartphone addiction is becoming more common among medical students at seven Egyptian institutions, as well as how it could contribute to CYB. Smartphone addiction was observed in 57.2% of individuals in the medical group and 55.9% of individuals in the non-medical group (P = 0.68). Medical students had a significantly lower mean well-being score than non-medical students (58.4 vs. 59.6; P < 0.01). There was a positive correlation between cyberchondria severity and smartphone addiction. Smartphones are a medium for performing online activities, and one such activity could be the compulsive online health information search - cyberchondria. This study aimed to test whether cyberchondria and intolerance of uncertainty (IU) positively predict smartphone addiction (SA), adjusted for age, gender, daily use duration, the reason for using smartphones, and symptoms of anxiety and depression. The sample consisted of 471 adults. Using the simple random sampling technique, the cross-sectional research aimed to determine the prevalence of cyberchondria among 160 B.Sc. computer science students. Data were collected through a self-administered Cyberchondria Severity Scale 12 questionnaire with a Likert scale scoring of 0-4.

 Abstract

Over the past few years, there has been a constant increase required for significant data speed in contemporary rapid connectivity serial links. But when data rates increase, multiple internal or external noise sources cause jittery signals on the signal that was sent, which takes up a large amount of the bit time frame. Phase interpolator (PI) based clock and data recovery circuit (CDR) optimisation is the focus of a jitter assessment technique developed for the current system. Using the CMOS TSMC 65 nm process node, the procedure is used for the enhanced design of an 8-bit dual-loop CDR. According to an enhanced version with an innovative PI topology provided in this composition, the CDR has a higher phase resolution. A sweep synthesiser with a programmable clock rate is developed within the suggested model. The sweeping clock fluctuates in a dynamic manner. There is arbitrary jitter in the test circuitry. Rapid synchronous latches are used in the suggested delay regulated delay lines to eliminate jitter in the clock. The locking stage of the traditional approach using the digital phase bound looping technique presents difficulties. In this section the emphasis is on the portable method. Power, area usage, delay, and other factors are used to evaluate the performance metric.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT The common medicinal plant of Euphorbia hirta (Family: Euphorbiaceae) has potent molluscicidal and piscicidal activity against freshwater snails and fishes. The toxicological actions of the diterpenoids, rutin, ?-sitosterol, botulin, and ellagic acid present in the Euphorbia hirta plant. Euphorbia hirta is an important medicinal herb, it is a widely used local and traditional medicine in clinical practice. The whole plant is commonly applied to cure various diseases especially gastrointestinal disorders including intestinal parasites, diarrhea, peptic ulcers, heartburn, vomiting, amoebic dysentery, afflictions of the skin, asthma, bronchitis, fever, coughs, and colds. The freshwater harmful snails Lymnaea acuminata and Indoplanorbis exustus are very common in the Northern part of India. Both snails are vectors of Fasciola hepatica, which causes endemic fascioliasis in cattle and livestock in the Northern part of India. Fishing with the aid of plant toxins was formerly very common. Today this easy method of fishing is still practiced in remote areas. The method is simple the poisonous ingredients are pounded and thrown into a pool or dammed-up sections of a small river. After a short time, the fish begin to raise the surface and can then readily be taken by hand. The present work is an extensive review of published literature concerning medicinal and biological aspects of the Euphorbia hirta plant to give comprehensive information in an attempt to provide direction for further research. It is commonly known as Dudhi.

 Abstract

In response to the growing need for energy-efficient lighting solutions, this paper introduces an Intelligent Lighting System (ILS) designed to enhance energy conservation and user satisfaction. Conventional light control systems often face limitations in seamlessly integrating into homes and offices due to inefficiencies and design constraints. The proposed ILS leverages advanced technologies, including motion sensors, light sensors, and wireless communication, to dynamically adjust light intensity based on user movement and ambient lighting conditions. By ensuring optimal illumination while minimizing energy consumption, the system contributes significantly to sustainable energy practices. This research outlines the comprehensive architecture of the ILS, detailing its components and operational mechanisms. The system's design project was undertaken at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Centre for Excellence in Information Technology & Communication and Outsourcing Centre. The lighting efficiency of the ILS was rigorously simulated using DIALux software, a leading tool in lighting design and analysis. The simulation assessed various parameters such as energy efficiency, direct lighting, and environmental impact, providing a robust evaluation of the system's performance. The study also explores practical applications and innovative ideas for implementing the ILS in diverse environments, including offices and factories. These applications demonstrate the system's versatility and effectiveness in different settings, highlighting its potential to revolutionize lighting control in both residential and commercial spaces. The findings indicate that the ILS can significantly reduce energy consumption while maintaining optimal lighting conditions, thereby promoting sustainable energy practices and enhancing user satisfaction. Furthermore, the paper discusses the environmental benefits of the ILS, emphasizing its role in reducing carbon footprints and supporting green building initiatives.  Abstract

Background: Bronchial asthma, characterized by chronic inflammation, bronchial hyperreactivity, and reversible airway obstruction, is often exacerbated by environmental allergens. The Papworth breathing method and Anulom Vilom Pranayam are two approaches used to manage these symptoms. The SF-36 questionnaire assesses various facets of health-related quality of life. Aim & Objective: This study sought to evaluate the efficacy of the Papworth breathing method and Anulom Vilom Pranayam in improving the quality of life and Peak Expiratory Flow Rate (PEFR) in adolescents diagnosed with bronchial asthma. Methodology: Seventy participants were drawn from schools and clinics in the Pune region and allocated to either the Papworth group or the Anulom Vilom group. Both groups received training in their respective techniques and participated in three weekly sessions over a span of four weeks. Results: The analysis revealed significant improvements in both groups. The p-value for PEFR was 0.0007, signifying a substantial enhancement in PEFR. Furthermore, the p-value for the SF-36 questionnaire was less than 0.0001, indicating a marked improvement in the quality of life of the participants. Conclusion: While both the Papworth and Anulom Vilom methods demonstrated substantial efficacy, the data suggests that Anulom Vilom may offer superior outcomes for adolescents managing bronchial asthma. Nevertheless, individual preferences and patient-specific considerations should inform the choice of therapeutic approach. Further research and clinical evaluation are essential to corroborate these findings and provide a comprehensive assessment of the relative effectiveness of these breathing techniques.

 Abstract

Objective: The study aimed to investigate the relationship between body composition and shoulder flexor strength in male volleyball players. Methods: Twenty male volleyball players were selected to assess body composition and shoulder flexor strength. The study utilized the human kinetic isokinetic machine and skinfold caliper for accurate measurements. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics and Pearson's product-moment correlation to determine the relationship between body composition and shoulder flexor strength. Conclusion: The study found no significant relationship between body composition and shoulder flexor strength in volleyball players. However, it revealed that shoulder extensor strength was significantly stronger than shoulder flexor strength. This suggests that training programs should focus on enhancing shoulder extensor strength, which plays a crucial role in spiking and serving in volleyball. Maintaining ideal body composition may also contribute to improved playing performance. The findings emphasize the importance of considering specific muscle groups and body composition in training programs to enhance player performance in volleyball.

 Abstract

Important papers like academic certificates from educational institutions and the SSLC and HSC are being changed to digital representations as we progress toward a more digital society. However, students usually have trouble remembering where their real degree certificates are, even while institutions and organizations cope with time-consuming processes for certifying and confirming credentials. By putting in place a blockchain-based certificate storage system, our initiative aims to solve this issue by enhancing security and speeding up validation procedures. Initially, digital formats for paper certificates are created, and then each certificate is given a distinct hash code generated by a stochastic process. Following that, these digital certificates are safely stored on the block chain. An application for smartphones may be used to validate and confirm these certificates. It uses of blockchain technology to provide a more effective and safe validation process.

 Abstract

the advancement of technology in agriculture has paved the way for innovative solutions to enhance crop yield and manage plant health. One such solution is automated plant disease detection using deep learning techniques. This paper presents a web-based application designed to detect diseases in plant leaves from uploaded images, utilizing state-of-the-art deep learning modelsplant diseases pose a significant threat to agricultural productivity and food security worldwide. Early and accurate detection of plant diseases is crucial for effective management and control. Traditional methods of disease detection often rely on manual inspection by experts, which can be time-consuming, labor-intensive, and prone to human error. To address these challenges, we propose a deep learning-based approach for automatic plant disease detection from leaf images.our approach leverages two powerful convolutional neural network (cnn) architectures: xception and densenet121. These models are pre-trained on the imagenet dataset and fine-tuned for the task of plant disease classification.
