 Abstract

SARS-CoV-2 is primarily responsible for COVID-19, a respiratory virus infection. COVID-19 is currently regarded as a systemic disease, because of the involvement of several organs in individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2. The initial effects of COVID-19 are well known and frequently involved a rise in mortality. However, long-term or delayed COVID-19 problems (post-COVID-19 syndrome) are now more commonly understood and are linked to higher morbidity. The major symptoms of post-COVID-19 syndrome include dyspnea, fatigue, dysgeusia, anosmia, chest pain, arrhythmias, headache, lightheadedness, and brain fogging (cognitive impairment), which lead to enhanced morbidity and a low-quality life. Treatment and management are well required for these long COVID haulers. The role of the interprofessional collaborative team in the assessment and management of patients with post-COVID-19 syndrome is a highlight of this paper. The purpose of this review is to explain the frequency of delayed and persistent symptoms, system-based symptoms, ways to recognize symptoms and indicators to manage the condition, and the role of an interdisciplinary collaborative approach in the management of post-COVID-19 syndrome in. To achieve this, several research papers were analyzed and evaluated that resulted into the outcome as interprofessional team of clinicians, specialists, super specialists, occupational therapists, social workers, and self-training programs is required to work and collaborate on improving and overcoming post COVID-19 syndrome. Unmanaged long COVID haulers may be subject to complex morbidity and may contribute to gross mortality.

 Abstract

Educating via social media has several options. Social media may help schools and university libraries sell and promote themselves. Since many instructors and students already use social media and other technologies, it's easier than ever to incorporate them into curriculum. Each social networking site has several classroom uses, from alerts to live lectures and more. First, social media networks allow students, educators, and parents to check in, ask questions, and obtain responses. Social media may boost e-learning. Social networking may help students work remotely. Training students to work remotely is becoming increasingly vital as online programs and jobs grow. Before using social media in the classroom, it's important to understand its effects, but we're certain it will help pupils learn technology. It's not how many people "like" your posts that's driving social media in the classroom. Social media encourages collaboration, open forums, and rapid information sharing, which helps students develop creative, critical thinking, and communication skills faster. Self-directed learning on social media helps students find answers and make decisions. Because social media gives students more freedom to communicate and collaborate outside the classroom, they experience the globally linked world before entering the workforce. Repeating these social media skills in a classroom context improves learning and critical thinking.

 Abstract

This study aims at validating the medicinal value of Premna latifolia from its antifungal properties against medically important fungal strains. The antifungal properties were tested against Fusarium and Rhizopus which had shown moderate rate of inhibition. The fungal activity of the P. latifolia might be due to the presence of various secondary metabolites. Hence, this plant can be used to identify the specific bioactive compounds which may serve as leads in the development of new antimicrobial agents.

 Abstract

Historically, the extraction of mineral reserves has always resulted in varying degrees of environmental resource degradation and social impacts, including displacement, all across the globe, even though the mining activity plays very vital role as for as development of the country was concerned. Whilst acknowledging that no mining can be entirely free of all negative impacts, there is sufficient ground to suggest that all-round performance on this subject in the mining sector needs to be urgently and substantially improved in the country. So there is a need for sustainable development in mining. As the mining activity of the Bellary district was concerned, the Supreme Court gave a major judgment on illegal mining activities in the district on the basis of lokayukta report of the Karnataka state; this may impact on the district economy and lively hood.

 Abstract

Unemployment refers to a state or situation of people of different categories when an invidual is left without a job, want a job, have actively sought work in and are available to start work or are out of work ,have found a job and are waiting to start it .It is a reflection of static development where high population growth hasn't met the national output and becomes unproductive. This issue is one of the major challenges in India ,especially in the underdeveloped regions like backward villages and towns. This paper selected Mirzapur urf Soorajpur,a village in Raibareli district from Uttar Pradesh, which is one of the most backward villages in the state despite the presence of primary resources. The balence between education and unemployment in the study area is unequal. The balence between education and unemployment in the study is unequal(Literacy Rate:59.97%).As a result, people are engaging into poverty, drug addiction, joblessness, stress, lack of job opportunities ,and most importantly not proper usage of resources available. This paper prescribes some policies which can provide some policies to enhance some job opportunities for the youth and farmers and to decrease poverty rate in the rural area.

 Abstract

This research paper presents an experimental study on the performance evaluation of Steel-Nylon Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Concrete in M-25 grade. Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) is a composite material that incorporates fibers to enhance the properties of conventional concrete. The addition of fibers improves crack resistance, tensile strength, toughness, and durability of concrete. In this study, steel and nylon 6 fibers were used in different combinations to investigate their impact on the mechanical properties of concrete. The mix design was performed as per IS 10262-2009, and the water-cement ratio was maintained at 0.43 with a 0.75% volume fraction of fibers. The physical and mechanical properties of the materials used were tested and found to meet the relevant Indian Standard specifications. The experimental program included testing of cube specimens for compressive strength, cylindrical specimens for split tensile strength, and beams for flexural strength at 7 and 28 days. The results revealed that the addition of fibers decreased workability but improved compressive, split tensile, and flexural strengths. Mix MS75N25 (75-25% steel-nylon) exhibited the highest compressive and flexural strengths, while mix MS100N0 (100-0% steel-nylon) showed the highest split tensile strength. The research provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of hybrid fiber reinforcement in enhancing the mechanical properties of concrete and its potential for various structural applications.

 Abstract

Steel concrete composite deck is a quick and affordable structural method that is employed all over the world. In recent times, India has also become more aware of the tactics. A lean cold-formed steel sheet that can be shaped into any required shape makes up the profile deck. Changing the geometrical shape and strength of material characteristics of the steel concrete deck allows for a critical analysis to be done in this article. Its impact on the placement of the N-A and flexural resistance is examined. Another significant issue with decks is their ductile behavior. In order to assure ductile behavior of composite deck, authors present the limitation assessment of N-A for frequently used steel grades for profile deck. For an open trough type profile deck, the article takes into account differences in concrete thickness, yield strength of the material, and concrete cylinder strength. According to Eurocode EN-1994, N-A depth and MOR calculations are conducted assuming a complete connection between steel and concrete. The findings reveal that changing geometrical and material factors significantly affect flexural capacity and N-A placement.

 Abstract

Deglobalization is being accelerated through a combination of protectionism, countries having 'friend shoring' which means limiting trade to countries with shared values, invasion of enemy countries (Ukraine-Russia war) which leads to geo-strategically motivated bans and sanctions. This research paper focuses on two-dimensions where deglobalization can highly impact. The first dimension is threat to climate and the second dimension is fulfilled by testing Romer's hypothesis which states that inflation is lower in open economies. The aim of the second dimension is to check causal relationship between trade openness and inflation, taking Wholesale Price Index as the variable. The researchers also checked any long run or short run relationship between the two variables. Methodological tools include test stationarity of the data, Granger Causality Test Johansen Cointegration Test taking secondary empirical data of past 10 years. The inferences drawn are not supporting the idea of a closed economy or a global economy with isolated regional trading blocs.

 Abstract

Globally cancer is one of the commonly life-threatening diseases which severely affect the human being. It is recognized by the uncontrollable division of cells. There is a demand for new methods to prevent this disease. Conventional therapies have several adverse effects on the on healthy cells, therefore, an alternative and effective medication are required to combat this disease. Benefits of using plants derive product over synthetic medication have increased the importance of medicinal plant in the field of healthcare. Many plants derive product shows potent in cancer treatment by inhibiting cancer activating enzymes, stimulate DNA repair mechanism, induce anti-oxidant action, and promote protective enzymes production. In the present review, an effort has been done to provide information about the various compounds present in the medicinal plants that have shown potent activity against various forms of cancer. Internationally accepted classifications of malignant tumors, developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), are based on the histotype, site of origin, morphologic grade, and spread of cancer throughout the body The WHO classifications are the foundation of cancer diagnosis and the starting point for cancer management. Starting in 2000, the WHO classifications began to include biologic and molecular- genetic feature.

 Abstract

Abstract Job satisfaction is a critical factor influencing the performance and retention of employees, particularly in safety-sensitive occupations such as Loco-Pilots in the North-Eastern Frontier Railway (NER). This research paper aims to identify and analyze the motivational factors that significantly impact job satisfaction among Loco-Pilots in the NER, ultimately contributing to the railway's overall effectiveness. To achieve this objective, a mixed-methods research approach will be employed. Firstly, a structured questionnaire will be distributed among a sample of Loco-Pilots to gather quantitative data on their levels of job satisfaction and identify key motivational drivers. The questionnaire will be designed based on established theories and previous studies on job satisfaction and employee motivation. Secondly, in-depth interviews will be conducted with a select group of Loco-Pilots to obtain qualitative insights into their experiences, perceptions, and personal narratives regarding job satisfaction and the factors that influence their motivation. These interviews will provide a deeper understanding of the context-specific elements affecting Loco-Pilots' job satisfaction in NER. The research will be conducted within a specific time frame, ensuring the participation of a representative sample of Loco-Pilots in NER to enhance the study's validity and generalizability of findings. By combining quantitative and qualitative data, this research aims to offer a comprehensive perspective on the complex interplay between motivational factors and job satisfaction among Loco-Pilots in NER, providing valuable insights for railway management to implement targeted strategies to improve employee motivation and job satisfaction.

 Abstract

This research paper investigates the use of waste marble dust as a soil stabilizer to improve soil properties and enhance its suitability for construction purposes. The study involves the collection and characterization of soil samples from a location in Jaipur district, followed by mixing the soil with varying proportions of marble dust obtained from a marble cutting and polishing industry in Nagaur district. Various laboratory tests, including Atterberg's limits, specific gravity, Proctor compaction, and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests, were performed to evaluate the effects of marble dust on soil characteristics. The results reveal that the addition of marble dust to the soil led to a reduction in clay content and an increase in the percentage of coarser particles. The Optimum Moisture Content (OMC) increased, while the Maximum Dry Density (MDD) decreased with higher percentages of marble dust. The plasticity index and swelling properties of the soil were improved, resulting in better volume stability. The CBR values of the soil significantly increased with the incorporation of marble dust, indicating enhanced strength and load-bearing capacity. The findings suggest that marble dust can be a promising soil stabilizer, particularly for engineering projects involving weak soils, offering an alternative to deep or raft foundations and leading to cost and energy savings. The optimal proportion of marble dust for soil stabilization was found to be 15%. Thus, utilizing 15% marble dust content in soil stabilization can yield the best results. The study highlights the potential of waste marble dust as an effective and environmentally friendly solution for soil improvement and construction applications, contributing to resource conservation and reducing environmental pollution.
