 Abstract

The Act East Policy is a significant expression of India's foreign policy with a view to develop economic integration with South East Asia. The Policy seeks to build a close connectivity between India and the countries of East Asia through the Northeastern region of India. The geographical location of the Northeastern region stands itself as the most favourable location to focus on implementation of India's Act East Policy. Being located in the southern part of the Indian state of Assam,Barak Valleyoccupies an important position in the Act East Policy as it is interlinked with the other Northeastern states and international border as well. Keeping this in view the present study tries to explore the opportunities for development of Barak Valley under the Act East Policy. The study observes that the geographical location of Barak Valley provides it a chance to become a hub for intra-state and international trade. It is expected that if the Act East Policy is put into operation properly it will usher in a new era of progress, prosperity and all round development for the Barak Valley.

 Abstract

Preeclampsia is a leading cause of maternal and fetal mortality and morbidity worldwide. The early identification of patients with an increased risk for preeclampsia is therefore one of the most important goals in obstetrics. Preeclampsia occurs in 2-5% of pregnancies in the Occident, but it complicates up to 10% of pregnancies in the developing countries. Preeclampsia is a multi-system disorder of pregnancy, which is characterized by new onset hypertension (systolic and diastolic blood pressure of >= 140 and 90 mm Hg, respectively, on two occasions, at least 6 hours apart) and proteinuria (protein excretion of >= 300 mg in a 24 h urine collection, or a dipstick of >= 2+), that develop after 20 weeks of gestation in previously normotensive women

 Abstract

Abstract: Education is necessary for overall human development. But we often see the inequality of education because of which poor talented children are affected, especially the tribal children. But if we all show the light of education to the tribal students by resolving the racial differences, then equality of opportunity will come in education. First of all, it is necessary to eliminate superstitions and ignorance form tribal society. In the era of 21st century every tribal students should be made technologically proficient. We should eradicate the number of dropout students from schools. The teacher should strive to bring all the tribal students into the area of education. A mass awareness is the key to overcome ignorance. It is the principal duty of all of us to make the tribal society free from the oppression of ignorance and to form a beautiful society.

 Abstract

The present study aimed to measure the physical and chemical properties of both ground water and surface water. Surface water and groundwater are two important sources of freshwater that are essential for human consumption, agricultural production, industrial use, and ecological balance. Surface water refers to the water that flows on the earth's surface in streams, rivers, lakes, and oceans, while groundwater is the water that is stored beneath the earth's surface in aquifers. Both surface water and groundwater are interconnected, and their quality and quantity depend on various factors such as climate, geology, land use, and human activities. Water quality can vary significantly from place to place due to a range of natural and human factors. This study provides an overview of the factors that can influence water quality and the ways in which water quality can vary across different geographic locations. The study examines the natural factors that can impact water quality, including geology, climate, and natural ecological processes. It also discusses the human factors that can contribute to changes in water quality, such as land use practices, industrial and agricultural activities, and waste disposal practices. Furthermore, the study explores the different parameters used to measure water quality, such as pH, dissolved oxygen, nutrient levels, and contaminants. It highlights how these parameters can vary from place to place, depending on local conditions and sources of pollution. The study also discusses the potential impacts of poor water quality on human health and the environment, including the spread of waterborne diseases, damage to aquatic ecosystems, and harm to wildlife. Finally, the study emphasizes the importance of monitoring and maintaining water quality to protect public health and preserve natural resources. It calls for the implementation of effective water management strategies, including the use of best management practices, regulations, and policies, to ensure that water quality is maintained at safe and sustainable levels across different geographic locations.

 Abstract

Recent centuries have seen significant changes in plant communities, although not all of these changes are consistent with the prevalent narrative of a biodiversity crisis. Although few extinctions have been recorded during the Anthropocene to date (0.1%), future decreases in plant species diversity are highly anticipated given habitat conversion in the tropics. In many parts of the world, the introduction of non-native species has considerably enhanced the diversity of plant species. At the same time, by bringing previously separated congeners into close proximity, these imports have also sparked the emergence of novel hybrid polyploidy species. At the local level, the conversion of primary vegetation to agriculture has reduced plant diversity, whereas other drivers of change, such as climate change, habitat loss, and nitrogen deposition, have effects that are highly context dependent and produce a distribution of temporal trends with a mean close to zero. These findings necessitate a review of the criteria used to establish and support conservation objectives. The preservation of biodiversity is a major concern in current forest management and can help human societies ensure the long-term sustainability of forest ecosystems, services, and resources. As the earliest woody plants in the succession process and capable of driving the development and succession of the canopy, understory shrubs serve as backup plants for the regeneration, development, and succession of forest ecosystems. In plantations, where it is essential for the growth of communities and the preservation of diversity, the diversity of shrubs is a significant part of the biodiversity of the forest. Additionally, shrubs maintain the soil quality of the stand and are crucial for the growth of forests, the transformation of agriculture into woods, etc. In this study dynamics of shrub diversity of Chitrakoot has been provided. The study area has 18919.80 ha area which is divided in 15 beats, 8 blocks and 86 compartments. Where the data shows primarily 29 types of shrub species with the total number of 16209 individuals. Dominance of Lantana camara, Carissa opaca, & Solanum nigrum has been noted. The different indices of plant diversity show highly diversified flora of shrub in study area.

This paper presents a state-of-the-art voice assistance system designed to provide an unparalleled user experience across various applications. The paper also highlights the system's versatility and extensibility through seamless integration with email system. The voice assistant listens to the user's voice input and converts it as a text and then sends it as an email message to the recipients. Finely, Researchers have to provide user's Email id, which will be the sender email id for the recipient and this can be executed using Python. SMTP is the most common and popular protocol of email which means Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. It is used for transmitting email from one account to another over the internet. Protocol runs a list of instructions that validate and manage the transfer of email and also it pushes the message from client to the server. MTA-Message Taste Agents is the client which should be present in the system to send and receive mail.

 Abstract

The importance of followers in the leader-follower relationship has been overlooked in leadership research, with scholars often prioritizing the study of leadership itself, as noted by Meindl's "The Romance of Leadership". However, it is crucial to recognize that successful execution and goal achievement heavily rely on the actions and attitudes of followers. Given the current COVID-19 situation and widespread adoption of remote work culture, there has been a permanent shift in the dynamics of leadership and followership in favour of the latter. The purpose of this research is to provide a valuable contribution to the academic field by conducting an empirical investigation of Kelley's The Followership Questionnaire (TFQ), specifically focusing on its sub-scales of Independent Critical Thinking (ICT) and Active Engagement (AE), within the Indian context. Specifically, the study seeks to identify prevalent followership styles within a chosen organization and analyse the relationship between these styles and demographic variables. By administering the Followership Questionnaire to 228 participants from the State of Maharashtra in India, this study can shed light on the importance of followership in the leader-follower relationship, particularly in the context of the prevalent work from home culture and ongoing pandemic. The findings of this study have practical implications for leadership practices and strategies aimed at fostering more effective relationships between leaders and their followers. Ultimately, the research highlights the need to recognize the critical role of followers in achieving organizational success and emphasizes the importance of studying followership in various contexts.

All humans beings whether they are man or woman have dignity. We should expect that they should be treated equally in all over the country. Article- 14 of Indian Constitution also define the term of equality before the law and equal protection of laws. Anything that underestimate that the dignity of a human being is a violation and as it violates the principle of equality which are defined in Article 14 of the constitution and its open the doors for the discriminations which is also given in Article 15 and 16 of the Indian Constitution. Homosexuality is one of the most current and hot issues not only in the India but also in the world which raises the questions on human rights. People in the world become the victim of violence and discrimination from time to time. The reason only is the whom they love and how they look. In the year 2018 ushered a ray of hope for the LGBT community who has been fighting for a long period for their rights. The result of this long battle is that, homosexuality has been decriminalized by the supreme court of India, no doubt, the laws have changed but violence and discrimination against the LGBT community still persists. That is the evidence of the low status its actually grants to the LGBT community. In India same-sex marriage is still a dream. We must look forward to the Human rights statues for the attainment of the real objective of the Constitution .Which means that all citizens are equal. There is a need to bring reform in the society and to amend the thinking that it is no shock or mental condition and to make everyone believe that human rights stand for all and all humans beings are equal.

 Abstract

In today's terms, education is an essential tool to empower our community. When we talk about education, it comes in many ways to individuals in today's world, where there is plenty of informationavailablereadilyaround us, all thanks to social media. However, a significant concern with that kind of information available to the community via social media is how much of it is authentic regardingGender sensitivity. Gender problems include all facets and issues about the lives and circumstances of men, women, and other genders. Their interactions, variations in access to and utilization of resources, activities, and responses to adjustments, interventions, and policies. In this article, we will specify specifically major issues of transgender. The way that transgender persons display their gender identification often causes them to be excluded from society and marginalized. Both outdoor and internet media are increasingly showing transgender persons. These portrayals have a significant influence on how transgender youngpeople establish their identities and conduct their lives while also educating the broader public about transgender cultures. Nevertheless, there is still a dearth of studies on the viewpoints of transgender people despite growing awareness of this depiction. Transgender people are portrayed in modern media, and the patterns in modern media depictions of transgender people are discussed in this article, along with the theoretical foundation for doing so.

 Abstract

The available related literatures have reached at a long last conclusion is that the exposure of optimal genetic factors to the optimum training environment produces champion athletes. Sporting ability is found that racial athletic ability reify race as inherited permanent biological characteristics. In order to adapt the training load, the athletes have to develop physiologically to meet the physical demand required at elite levels. The present investigation was an attempt to evaluate the influence of insulin and hemoglobin on performance of tribal athletes. Seventeen (N=17) middle distance tribal male athletes (800mt. and 1500mt.) were selected as subject from different training clubs of Jalpaiguri district assuring their minimum district level participation for two times. The age of the respondents were ranged from 18 to 22 years. Venous blood samples were collected through Venipuncture Sampling technique and were tested in pathological laboratory for the assessment of fasting insulin and hemoglobin of subjects. Performance level was measured through time in 1500mt. run. In order to analysis the collected data, Pearson's product moment correlation of coefficient was adopted to find out the existence of relationship between the selected variables and performance of tribal athletes. The major findings of this investigation was that fasting insulin was significantly associated with performance level of middle distance tribal athletes and also noted a profound insight on the influence of lower range of fasting insulin on higher performance in middle distance running event. On other hand, an insignificant relationship was found between hemoglobin and performance.
