 Abstract

The dromedary camel (Camelus dromedaries) tolerates hot semi-arid climate conditions of Rajasthan and reproduces successfully. The camel plays a significant role in the people's social and economic lives and is extensively distributed throughout the north-western regions of India. Camel is used for transportation. It provides milk, wool and leather so it is a great source of livelihood for rural people. Bikaner district has the second highest contribution in camel population in Rajasthan which is 57%. The current study was carried out to classify the camel diseases and provide a picture of the skin disease issues in the Bikaner region. This would help to identify the risk factors of diseases as well as develop future preventative measures. A field survey was carried out in a few villages in the Bikaner region from October 2021 to February 2022 to assess the prevalence of camel skin disorders in the several breeds (Bikaneri, Jaisalmeri, Kutchi, and Mewari). A total of 173 camels were surveyed. Out of 173, 157 camels were found affected with skin diseases. The current study focussed on the gender-specific prevalence of skin candidiasis, contagious ecthyma, sarcoptic mange, and camel pox throughout the winter season. Overall proportional prevalence of Mange, Camel pox, Skin candidiasis, Contagious ecthyma and Dermatitis were 45.86%, 22.93 %, 10.19%, 7% and 13.64%. According to this study, females were more susceptible than males to be affected by diseases of the skin. Skin diseases were common in winter season. Camel skin conditions result in severe financial losses due to decreased working capacity, growth, and production. Our work indicates that additional investigation is required to address camel skin problems in the Bikaner region.

 Abstract

COVID-19 was recognized in December 2019 in India and affected the entire population of the country. The cause of this was a novel coronavirus, which shows structural similarity to the virus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). The objective of this investigation is to analyse COVID-19 spread according to age by thoroughly study in Bikaner from May 2020 to January 2021. This study is based on real time data. The data were obtained from the CMHO office, Bikaner, Rajasthan. The first case of COVID-19 was reported in April 2020 in Bikaner, though we noticed a significant rise in the number of cases until October 2020. The present study reported that both the number of cases and the death rate increased gradually over time. The number of positive cases rose sharply in October 2020. The death rate also jumped in October 2020. This study covered the age dependent risk of COVID-19 and the percentage of mortality in different age groups. Available data point towards an increased risk of disease in the 17-40 age group and higher mortality in the older age group above 60 years.

 Abstract

Abstract: In this profound research endeavor, we embark on a journey to explore the acclaimed theatrical masterpiece of Christopher Marlowe, the illustrious play titled "Dr. Faustus." Our focus lies unwavering on the central theme of necromancy, an arcane art that beckons the boundaries of human comprehension. Within this tragic opus, we encounter Dr. John Faustus, a man of extraordinary talent and erudition, whose prodigious gifts he recklessly misapplies, leading inexorably to his damnation. With unyielding determination, we delve into the protagonist's unquenchable thirst for ultimate dominion through the murky realms of dark arts, meticulously analyzing Faustus's enchantment with necromancy and its inexorable repercussions. Our quest is to shed light upon the play's scintillating portrayal of the beguiling allure that forbidden knowledge possesses, and the tragic descent that befalls those audacious enough to dabble in the occult.

 Abstract

From the past earthquake, it has been observed that if the bridge are not properly analyzed, designed and constructed with required quality, it may lead to great destruction and loss of human lives. It has been proven that many of the bridges are fully or partial damaged due to earthquakes. This work is divided into two parts; the first one is design the RCC bridges using CSI-Bridge software and the second part is about non-linear Time history analysis. Seismic analysis of the structure is carried out for determination of seismic responses by time history analysis which is one of the important techniques for structural seismic especially when the evaluated structural response is nonlinear in nature. As time history is realistic method, used for seismic analysis, it provides a better check to safety of the structures as compared to equivalent static analysis and response spectrum methods.

 Abstract

Cilnidipine is a dihydropyridine class of calcium-channel blocker. Cilnidipine prevents intracellular calcium influx and results in vasodilatation. Prescribed for the medical management of hypertension in adults. Cilnidipine is BCS Class II drug having low solubility and high permeability. Its bioavailability is 64-90%. In present study attempt has been made to prepare and characterize inclusion complexes of drug with Beta Cyclodextrin (?-CD). The phase solubility analysis indicated the formation of a 1:1 molar inclusion complex of drug with ?-CD. Apparent stability constant (K C ) was 1578 K -1 for ?-CD complex. The inclusion complexes were prepared by two different methods viz. coprecipitation, and kneading method. The prepared complexes were characterized using dissolution study, FTIR and X-ray diffractometry. The inclusion complex prepared with ?-CD by kneading method exhibited greatest enhancement in solubility and fastest dissolution (T 90 = 20 min.) of Cilnidipine

 Abstract

COVID-19 has created a global emergency of unprecedented degree and scale. While re-establishing worldwide wellbeing remains the primary objective, the exacting esti-mates required are causing enormous economic and social shocks. This pandemic triggers a global lockdown which destroys lives, lowers earning capacities and flattens the econo-my. However, childrenare more vulnerable to the long-term consequences and will suffer the most severe adverse effects. As a consequence, children in child labor risk grave physical and mental health problems. Child labour limits children's education, restricts their rights, and limits their future opportunities, and contributes to intergenerational poverty. The number of children in child labour has risen to 160 million worldwide - an increase of 8.4 million children in the last four years - with millions of risk due to the impacts of COVID-19, according to a new report by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and UNICEF. Thousands of match industries are based in Sattur taluk and employ a large number of child labourers and provide moral support to their families. This virus, which has shaken the entire world, is one of the most deadly and has infected everyone, including vulnerable peoplein the match industry who have lost their earning capabilities. In this light, the current paper aims to assess the impact of the COVID-19 on child labour in match indus-tries at Sattur Taluk in Virudhunagar District.

 Abstract

Indian tropical fruits are abundant in seeds that can be sunflower, mustard, nigella, guava, papaya, mangosteen, honeydew, pomegranate, fennel, fenugreek, cumin, sweet orange, cucumber, jackfruit, mango, melons, and avocado. These items, for example, the seed piece, which comprises around 10-35% of the weight, offer high dietary benefit and helpful applications. The seeds of some fruits are examined for their functions and applications as sources of food value and bioactive phytochemical constituents, as well as their functional properties, medicinal, therapeutic, and nutritional applications. The seeds contain fundamental bioactive parts like alkaloids, carotenoids, flavonoids, glycosides, saponins, terpenoids, tannins, steroids and polyphenolic mixtures and that display magnificent calming, cancer prevention agent properties, anticancer, against diabetic, hostile to hyperlipidemic, against corpulence, neurological issues, cardiovascular, skin infections and ongoing sicknesses. They are packed with vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and remarkable physicochemical properties. However, extensive research can be carried out to ascertain the bioavailability, potency, and efficacy of the nutritional and bioactive components found in various seed varieties. The medicinal and functional potentials of these fruit seeds can be identified through extensive research using the parts of the seeds. The therapeutic applications and functional properties of seeds found in fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants are discussed in detail in this review. This review discusses some edible seeds' medicinal and nutritional value, phytochemical composition, bioactive phytoconstituents, therapeutic activity, therapeutic applications and uses, proximate analysis, functional properties, analytical and spectroscopic methods, and human clinical trials.

 Abstract

Abstract: Caesarean section is an operative procedure whereby the foetuses delivered through an incision made in the lower segment of an abdomen through a Trans -peritoneal approach. It is the method barely practiced in the present-day obstetrics for saving the lives of women and their new-born. The aim of this study is to determine the indications of caesarean section among postnatal mothers at the selected setting, Chennai. Objectives: 1. To identify the indications of caesarean section among primi and multi para postnatal mothers. 2. To associate the demographic variables of primi para caesarean section mothers with multi para postnatal mothers. 3. To associate the indications & non indications of caesarean section with primi and multi para postnatal mothers. Materials and Methods: A quantitative non-experimental comparative analysis style was used to identify the indications of caesarean section. 200 individuals were chosen through the non-probability purposive sampling technique and data was collected using a structured questionnaire. Result: The leading indications of primi and multi para CS were previous caesarean section 35 (17.5%), Malpresentation 34 (17%), CPD 26 (13.0%), failed acceleration 19 (9.5%), placenta praevia 16 (8%), foetal distress 15 (7.5%) and MAS 10 (5%) and the least indication were cord around the neck and post-dated pregnancy 1 (0.5%) respectively. With regard to demographic variables, there was a statistically significant association between age in years and type of caesarean section at p<0.05 level. Conclusion: The predominant cause for caesarean sections is previous LSCS irrespective of second normal pregnancy. On that account, it is mandatory to gauge the antenatal mothers at the initial check-up and recommence at the intranatal level to stave off from any unforeseen emergencies.

 Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of variations in the input of the mono-crystalline silicon PV cell under different temperature and irradiance levels using LabVIEW as the simulation tool. The base of the study is mathematical modeling of PV cell characteristics using one-diode equivalent model in LabVIEW. The tool which is designed to compute and it can displays various parameters like Current-Voltage (I-V) curves, optimal load and Number of Panels, open-circuit voltage (Voc), short-circuit current (Isc) and saturation current (Io) over a range of cell temperature, irradiation levels and development of a LabVIEW model for number of solar panel required for load requirement. The user need to provide the essential parameters as inputs on the front panel in LabVIEW which we can obtain from the datasheet which are given the for standard test conditions (STC) by a manufacturer. The project aims to simulate and explore the potential of solar PV system in different Temperatures and Irradiance using LABVEIW.

 Abstract

Metal complex formation may be considered to be due to the displacement of a proton from the ligand by metal causing a drop in the pH values of the solution. Equilibrium constants are related to the complex formation. The stepwise formation of mononuclear, binary and tertiary complexes may be described by a set of equilibrium constants. The change in concentration caused by a complex formation are reflected in the potential of a well chosen electrode where electrode reaction must be reversible. The electrode potential is well defined function of the concentration of the ion to be determined. Rossotti1 have given a method for calculation of stability constants of complexes by pH-metry (Potentiometry). Calvin and Bjerrum2 also followed pH-metric technique for study of stability constant of metal complexes. Martell and Calvin3 have done potentiometric study of metal complexes of a large variety of polycarboxylic acids, oximes and phenols. Various experimental methods are also used for determination of composition, and stability constant of complexes, such as potentiometric (pH-metry) method, spectrophotometry, polarography, ion exchange method, kinetic measurements, colorimetric and extraction methods. The number of methods are related with only to a well defined group of equilibrium system and so their application is restricted. Potentiometric technique is more suitable but it requires that electrode reaction must be reversible. The law of mass action strictly determines the concentration of the reactants and products in every reversible chemical reaction. The numerical values of equilibrium constant depends on the concentration.
