It's crucial to prioritize a person's health for several reasons, including preventing illness and disease, promoting well-being, and improving quality of life. Along with preventive measures like screening tests, vaccinations, and controlling risk factors, regular health checkups help in increasing life expectancy. In case of uncertainty, securing our health is critical. To face the uncertainties, several health insurances have been introduced. As several health insurance schemes do, Ayushman Bharat, officially named Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), is a flagship health insurance scheme in India that aims to provide financial protection against healthcare costs for the poor and vulnerable population. This scheme aims to provide comprehensive healthcare coverage to the economically weaker sections of society, making quality medical services accessible and affordable for millions of underprivileged individuals and families. In Coimbatore City a vibrant city where contemporary economic development comes together with ancient cultural values the degree of awareness and understanding of the (PM-JAY) scheme is the determining factor in the impact it will have on securing medical uncertainties. It used a mixed-methods research design, combining the quantitative data collected from standardized questionnaires from 180 respondents from mixed socio-economic backgrounds with qualitative information obtained through journals and primary and secondary data. The results show that although a moderate level of consciousness exists among the urban masses, there are wide gaps in the detailed comprehension of the outstanding features of the scheme. As a result, it is observed by the study that awareness has a positive correlation. By addressing the areas, the scheme can provide better healthcare access and satisfaction for beneficiaries, and it is also observed that many have benefited from hospitalization services, with most saving between 1 and 2 lakhs rupees.

As the reliance on cloud computing continues to grow, the security of sensitive data stored in cloud environments has become increasingly critical. This project presents a robust solution for enhancing cloud data security through the integration of Dynamic AES Encryption, Blockchain-based Key Management, and the Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) algorithm. DAES encryption extends the traditional AES encryption by distributing the encryption process across multiple nodes in a cloud environment. This approach not only improves security by eliminating single points of failure but also enhances resilience against various cyber threats. By encrypting data using DAES before it is uploaded to the cloud, we ensure that only authorized users can access the sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality and integrity. To manage encryption keys effectively, this project utilizes a blockchain-based key management system. Blockchain technology provides a decentralized and tamper-proof ledger for storing and distributing encryption keys. Each key generation, usage, and access request is recorded on the blockchain, creating an immutable audit trail that enhances accountability and transparency. This decentralized approach mitigates the risks associated with traditional centralized key management systems, ensuring that keys are securely distributed only to authorized users.

The construction industry heavily relies on concrete material which provides durable performance but deals with three crucial drawbacks of micro-cracking and brittleness alongside environmental sustainability issues. Researchers explore the addition of Micro-Fibrillated Cellulose (MFC) which stems from plant fibers as a nanomaterial for reinforced concrete to boost mechanical performance along with sustainability. MFC shows excellent bonding properties along with high surface area which leads to better strength levels and toughness and enhanced durability performance. The research investigates MFC concentrations from 0% to 0.5% and 1% and 1.5% and 2% to determine optimal performance levels. Experimental testing encompassing compressive strength and flexural strength testing as well as toughness evaluation and durability assessment and microstructural analysis through SEM occurred at ages of 7, 14, 28, 56, 90, and 180 days. The combination of 1.5% MFC created the optimal reinforcement effects resulting in a 40% increase of flexural strength reaching 6.3MPa alongside a 62.5% growth of toughness reaching 195kN-mm at 180 days. The maximum compressive strength of 40.4MPa occurred with 1.5% MFC and water absorption decreased to 3.8% while chloride penetration fell to 700 Coulombs. Results indicate that MFC proves as an effective sustainable material because it delivers promising characteristics to enhance mechanical properties and durability for high-performance concrete applications. The analysis delivers new sustainable construction materials which demonstrate better resistance to damage.

The August 2018 floods that destroyed Kerala were among the worst in the state's history in nearly a century. The 2018 Kerala flood had a severe impact, leading to widespread displacement, loss of life, and extensive damage to homes, infrastructure, and agricultural land. The disaster disrupted daily life across the state, overwhelmed public services, and caused long term economic and environmental consequences. This dissertation critically analyses the political role in managing this disaster in the post-disaster period, with a specific focus on the role of political leadership, institutional governance, and public participation in contributing to disaster response and recovery. Based on extensive reports of relief operations, intergovernmental relations, and engagement of diverse actors such as the state government, local self-governments, opposition parties, and civil society organizations, this research investigates the effectiveness and shortcomings of politically motivated disaster governance. The study highlights the critical leadership of Kerala's political leadership, especially the initiative of the Chief Minister and other major actors to mobilize resources, maintain open communication, and link decentralized governance structures for prompt response. It also assesses the relationship between the government and opposition, interaction with the civil society and volunteer networks, and the coordination with national agencies like the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the central government. From this perspective, the research showcases the strengths and weaknesses of Kerala's political machinery in dealing with an unprecedented human crisis, providing insights into the wider implications of political agency for disaster resilience and recovery. The results underscore the significance of inclusive governance, inter-party collaboration, and decentralized administration in informing an effective post-disaster strategy.

Humans and other biological entities are at a great risk from microplastics, which are ubiquitous in both marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Their capacity to transport and absorb harmful substances is demonstrated by recent research, which suggests that they may be the source of a number of health problems. By offering insights into the fundamental molecular processes and aiding in the development of abatement techniques, computational biology has emerged as a critical method for identifying important genes impacted by microplastic exposure. This work uses databases and bioinformatics methods, such as MalaCard, GeneCard, and OMIM to find and examine the genes that are affected by exposure to microplastics. Additionally, utilizing 12 distinct cytohubba characteristics, the protein-protein interaction networks were examined in order to identify the hub gene. "TNF" protein was identified as the key regulator of the network. A list of phytochemicals was also carefully selected after a thorough review of the literature in order to determine which ones would be useful in protecting against the exposure to microplastics. Using ADMETLab 3.0, the drug-like properties of these phytochemicals were tested. The structure of the key hub gene, that is, TNF was modeled using Swiss-Model. Molecular docking studies were done to explore the potential of phytochemicals against TNF. Molecular docking studies revealed the potential role of "Ellagic Acid" that has the highest binding energy of "-9.36" in the management of microplastics exposure in human. This study underscores the pervasive threat of microplastics to both human health and the environment, highlighting their ability to transport harmful substances. Computational biology has played a pivotal role in identifying key genes affected by microplastic exposure, with TNF emerging as a critical regulator. Through molecular modeling and docking studies, Ellagic Acid shows promising potential as a therapeutic agent against microplastic-induced health risks.
