 Abstract

Customary law constitutes a prominent part of the culture, especially in North East India ie the tribal society. There is also an interesting interest in the customary law of tribal societies. Customary Laws are the customs, traditional practices, and rules followed by the tribal society from time immemorial. It reflects and represents the distinct a unique features of a tribe because customary law differs from tribe to tribe. If we investigate the definition of customary law there is no accepted definition, Customary laws include principles or values rules, and code of conduct, and established economic practices. They are enforced by community institutions and can have sanctions attached. They are locally recognized. Orally held, adaptable, and evolving (Swiderska,2009). The present paper aims to study the customary laws relating to women's inheritance and marriage in the Lotha tribe in Nagaland. The primary source was collected through the interview method and for secondary source it was relied on studies that were conducted on similar papers relating to tribal areas. The Lotha society is patriarchal and patrilineal so according to Customary law dealing with property rights in traditional Lotha society it was the son who inherits the immovable property. Women had less say when it came to property inheritance. The daughters have no share in it. In the absence of sons to inherit the father's property, then the properties are divided among the father's immediate relatives. All properties are exclusively inheritable, both movable and immovable goods, according to the Lotha custom. Women can purchase any property by using the money given by their parents or self-earned money. Yet her sons can only inherit those properties. In no case or condition, these properties can be diverted back to her parents or to their family members. (Athungo,2015:140) Equality and equal treatment of genders have become universally accepted norms. The women's rights movement has gone through a long struggle to achieve this recognition. More efforts are needed to ensure the proper implementation of equality and equal treatment of genders. There is a question of whether customary law relating to gender should be discarded and given up in order to achieve gender equality.

 Abstract

Background The Trigonella foenum-graecum plant is also known as methi and used in Ayurvedic medicines for the treatment of bronchitis, rheumatoid arthritis, abscesses and digestive abnormalities. The review article has been made for the standardization and phytochemical evaluation of Fenugreek seeds and this one is comprises of powder microscopy, fluorescence analysis. In modern food technology Fenugreek is used as food stabilizer, adhesive and emulsifying factor because of its gum, protein and fiber content. It is a rich source of calcium, iron and other vitamins. In this study after a general discussion of physio-chemical constituents, the biological and pharmacological reactions of Fenugreek. And to investigate the anti- inflammatory activity of suitable gel formulation. Method The polyherbal gel formulation was designed by using Carbopol 934, Sodium CMC, Trigonella foenum-graecum, Fenugreek extract, Ethanol, propylene glycol 400, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, and required amount of distilled water. The skin pH (6.8-7) was maintained by drop wise addition of tri- ethanolamine. The prepared polyherbal gels were evaluated for physical appearance, pH, spreadability, skin irritation to observe side effect. It was inferred from the results that polyherbal gel formulations were good in appearance and homogeneity. The overall result of this research the prepared poly herbal gel formulation shows significant anti-inflammatory activity. Results Gels were prepared using carbopol-934, HPMC K4M individually as well as in combination as gelling agents. Prepared formulations were evaluated for various physicochemical properties. The topical gel prepared from mixture carbopol-934 and HPMC K4M will be better gelling agent for making an ideal topical preparation. F1 batch shows the good results than other batches so F1 batch is suitable for anti- inflammatory use. The prepared formulation was evaluated various parameters. All of the evaluation tests were passed by the formulation. Conclusion Fenugreek has high potential as an anti-inflammatory agent when formulated as an herbal gel for topical use and can be effective in acute inflammatory disorders. The main purpose of this study was to formulate a stable and functionally effective anti- inflammatory gel with addition herbs with synthetic chemicals. The present study showed that the fenugreek gel possesses higher anti-inflammatory properties when compared with standard diclofenac sodium/Ibuprofen.

A mixed-method approach was employed, including surveys and data analysis, to gather insights from a sample of 123 consumers. The results indicate that the most significant factors influencing consumer preferences are pricing, food quality, delivery time, and app interface. Consumers prioritize convenience and variety when choosing a food delivery app, with a strong preference for apps that offer fast delivery and a user-friendly interface. Furthermore, the study found that consumers are increasingly concerned about food safety and hygiene, with many expressing a preference for apps that prioritize these aspects. The findings suggest that food delivery companies can enhance their services by focusing on these key factors and tailoring their offerings to meet consumer expectations. Overall, this study provides valuable insights into consumer preferences towards online food delivery apps, offering practical implications for businesses looking to improve their market position. By understanding what drives consumer preferences, companies can develop strategies to attract and retain customers in this competitive landscape.

Probiotic supplements have gained popularity as a way to improve immune system performance, digestive health, and general well-being. Probiotics are live bacteria that, when consumed in appropriate amounts, can provide health advantages. The growing demand for probiotic solutions makes it imperative to fully comprehend the variety of microbes that are included in these formulations. This study delves into the microbial diversity of various commercial probiotic formulations, aiming to shed light on the composition of these products and their potential implications for human health. Through the utilization of advanced high- throughput sequencing techniques, the microbial profiles of different probiotic supplements are examined in detail. The findings of this research reveal a wide range of microbial diversity among the various probiotic formulations analyzed. Each product exhibits a distinct microbial composition, with differences observed in the abundance and diversity of bacterial strains present. Some formulations are dominated by specific bacterial species, while others exhibit a more balanced microbial profile comprising multiple strains. However, with globalization people have started residing across the globe for work but their desire to learn music has never decreased, also some great artist who propagated music with their talent and wisdom of knowledge like pandit Ravi Shankar, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Ustad Zakir Hussain and Ustad Allauddin Khan have actually helped music to immerse into the heart of the people. Indian classical music reached out to masses globally due to the efforts of these artists and people started liking indigenous art forms, especially Hindustani music. They were curious to know and learn the art from learned Indian musicians. The major barrier in learning was the distance factor between the student and the resource person. A few decades ago, the musician Guru's would travel abroad to instruct many students through the workshops, but it would happen twice or thrice a year each one longing for a month or so. In this process the students and gurus both remained unsatisfied with the teaching learning experience. Constant monitoring of the students was not possible. With the advancement in technology, availability of the internet and its supportive devices and increase in the purchasing power of the people, facilities like video conferencing came into existence. With time the video conferencing experience improved a lot and people started using it so much so that in COVID 19 the whole Music ecosystem survived economically due to the usage of technology.

 Abstract

The demand for skincare products is rapidly increasing, driven by a desire to enhance appearance while maintaining skin health. Cosmetic science encompasses various disciplines to create products that improve aesthetics without compromising skin integrity. A cosmetic serum, often an oil-in-water emulsion, offers deep skin penetration, rapid absorption, and a non-oily finish, containing a high concentration of active ingredients. This study aimed to develop a serum utilizing polyherbal extracts of Nutmeg and Saffron and Mucilage of Saffron. Nutmeg, with its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, was chosen alongside flax seed mucilage for UV protection and saffron for skin brightening and anti-aging effects. Phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of alkaloids, saponins, glycosides, flavonoids, tannins, and phenolic compounds in the aqueous extract. The formulated serum underwent standard evaluations for pH, homogeneity, viscosity, irritancy, spreadability, and physical stability, exhibiting promising results. This research suggests the potential of the formulated serum for cosmetic product development.

 Abstract

This research presents findings on the adoption of internet banking in India. Internet banking provides great benefits to banks; cost savings, improving customer relations and differentiating the banks' products from competitors. Although internet banking in India has improved over the last decade, the adoption of retail banking remains low. This study aims to identify the factors affecting Indian banking customer's intention to use the internet. The data presented inn this survey is based in 34 surveys collected by the people in the city of Pune. The results of the research confirm the relationship between identifiable resources and their impact on the adoption of Internet services. This study contributes to the literature by providing a new research methodology for forecasting internet spending in India and its findings are useful for bank for better planning in internet banking services.

: The Purpose of Quiz Management System is to automate the existing manual system by the help of computerized equipment and full-fledged computer Software, Fulfilling their Requirements, So that their valuable data/information can be stored for a longer period with easy accessing and manipulation of the same. The required software and hardware are easily available andeasy to work with. Quiz Management System, as described above, can lead to error free, secure, reliable and fast management system. It can assist the user to concentrate on their other activities rather to concentrate on the record keeping. Basically the project describes how to manage for good performance and better services to the peoples who are taking part in the quiz. The system will show result after the examination is finished. A teacher has control in the question bank and is supposed to make schedule for the quiz. The system carries out the examination and auto-grading for multiple choice questions which is fed into the system. Administrative control of the whole system is provided. The "Quiz Management System" is a collection of number of different types of quizzes like technical, games, sports, etc. A user can access/play all of the quiz and can attempt any of the one. There will be limited number of questions and for each correct answer user will get a credit score.According to college need we will add further features. We create quiz application because of that , All Student/ user get extra knowledge and skills. Administrator has a privilege to put as much as question in any category given in application. User can register, log-in, and give the test with his/her specific id, and can see the results as well.

Mouth dissolving pills are a type of solid medication dosage form that dissolves quickly on the tongue when applied, usually in a few seconds. Due to its simplicity of administration, it is becoming more and more popular among patients who have difficulty swallowing, especially those who are young, elderly, or have dysphagia. This article's goal is to investigate the application of natural polymers as mouth dissolving tablet superdisintegrants. The physicochemical properties of tablets are improved by natural polymers like locust bean gum, fenugreek gum, dehydrated banana powder, orange peel pectin, Mangiferaindica gum, Hibiscus rosasinenses mucilage, and soy polysaccharide. These polymers also add nutritional value and increase the solubility of poorly water-soluble drugs. Compared to synthetic polymers, natural polymers are more dependable, safe, non-toxic, biodegradable, and ecologically friendly. They are also less expensive.

 Abstract

Cosmetics are the preparations which are used to beautify and enhance the human appearances. The aim of the present research was to formulate and evaluate the sandalwood and almond oil cold cream, prepared by using water in oil method for the purpose of nourishing, moistening and anti-aging the skin. The cold cream was prepared by using the Almond Oil and Sandalwood oil. Quality evaluation of the formulated product was assessed by using different evaluation methods. No change of the physical properties was observed in formulated cream. The formulated cream showed good consistency and spreadability, pH and viscosity, no evidence of phase separation was seen during study period of work. Stability parameters like visual appearance, nature, viscosity and fragrance of the formulated cream showed that there was no significant variation during the study period of research. The herbal extract containing cold cream gives the cooling and soothing effect due to slow evaporation of water present in the emulsion. The cold creams are more moisturizing as they provide an oily barrier which reduces the water loss from the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin. They are water-in-oil emulsion and intended for application on skin or accessible mucous membrane to provide localized and sometimes systemic effect the site of application.

 Abstract

Sirohi is one of the smallest districts of Rajasthan and also a district among the scheduled areas of Rajasthan. Rajasthan is the home of so many tribal communities. Rajasthan is the 6th largest state of tribal population. Sirohi is mostly populated by the Garasia tribe. Mainly, they belong to Rajasthan and Gujarat (Tripathi, 2016, 113). The Garasia tribal community has gained a place of prominence in Indian culture due to their lifestyle and culture. The reference to their origin is yet uncertain as there are a lot of theories of their genesis. Some of them believe themselves as descendants of the Rajput community. Some consider themselves as Bhil. As per the Census 2011, total population of scheduled area is 64,63,353 out of which scheduled tribes population is 45,57,917 which is 70.43% of the total population of the Scheduled Area(census of India, 2011). It has been lacking socio-economic stability, the Adivasi community has been systematically marginalized for many years by the nexus of state and machineries of capitalism. There are different shades of orientation and beliefs among the academics and intellectual community. Some believed that the exploitation and atrocity against tribal communities are the after-effects of the colonial policies for forest and its products. Another chunk of scholars say that the exploitation has been documented after independence by the integration policies of the Indian state (Sabharwal, 1994, 65). Due to difficult and arduous geography and lack of economic opportunities, They are forced to migrate into nearby urban settings with a hope of a better life (Tripathi, 2016, 114). Ahmedabad is the nearest employment hub for these tribal migrant workers. Almost a substantial chunk of these workers are indulged in construction industries, hospitality industries and textile industries of the city. The focus of this paper is to investigate the work and migration pattern among Garasia tribes. The migration pattern leads to a cycle of exploitation for these tribal migrant workers and leads to the burden of this exploitation
