 Abstract

Today sports are not just limited to recreational events but have grown into a billion-dollar industry. The industry laden with money depends on the promotions and marketing of sports and the performance of an athlete at times. The athlete either in this lure to shine bright or to make money often opts for the means which are prohibited in sports codes. One such illegal means used by athletes is doping. This article aims to highlight the menace of doping in the Indian sports industry and its impact on the integrity of sports as a whole. Technological advancement has brought new revolutions for detecting such foul play but also has enhanced the probability of failure in detection because of new drugs and asteroids which are hard to detect. Thus it becomes imperative to have an effective legal means to cater to the need for maintaining sports integrity. Henceforth this article is an effort to shed some light on the issues of doping in India.

 Abstract

The project aims to create and evaluate an anticollision system tailored for heavy-duty vehicles like trucks, buses, and construction equipment. This project seeks to enhance safety, minimize accidents, and boost operational efficiency in the transport and logistics sectors. Key elements include improving safety, economic benefits, regulatory adherence, environmental advantages, technological progress, and reducing human error. The methodology integrates advanced technologies such as radar, lidar, ultrasonic sensors, and communication systems into a cohesive anticollision system. A microcontroller will handle data from these sensors to make real-time collision-prevention decisions. The project involves a literature review on existing systems, system design for sensor integration and control algorithms, and practical implementation with thorough testing. The system will issue warnings and initiate partial braking at 15 meters from an obstacle, intensify warnings and apply moderate braking at 11 meters, and activate full braking at 7 meters. The control system will process real-time data, evaluate collision risks, and implement avoidance strategies, incorporating adaptive learning capabilities and fail-safe mechanisms.

 Abstract

This article explores the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in Indian politics, highlighting its integration into governance, electoral processes, and policy-making. AI technologies are revolutionizing the political landscape by enhancing administrative efficiency, enabling data-driven decision-making, and personalizing voter engagement. In electoral processes, AI aids in voter registration, fraud detection, and strategic campaign management through sentiment analysis and predictive analytics. Furthermore, AI-driven tools such as chatbots and virtual assistants are improving citizen engagement and public service delivery. However, the rapid adoption of AI in politics raises significant ethical and regulatory challenges, including data privacy concerns, algorithmic bias, and the potential for political manipulation. Addressing these issues requires robust data protection laws, algorithmic transparency, and ethical guidelines. The article proposes policy recommendations to ensure the ethical use of AI in Indian politics, emphasizing the need for comprehensive data protection, fair AI algorithms, accountability mechanisms, and public awareness initiatives. Looking ahead, the future of AI in Indian politics promises advanced predictive analytics, enhanced electoral integrity through blockchain integration, and AI's pivotal role in crisis management. Ensuring ethical AI usage will necessitate continuous collaboration between policymakers, technologists, and civil society to safeguard democratic values and citizen rights while leveraging AI's potential to enhance governance and public services.

 Abstract

The world was changed--in other words, a new one was created--by the COVID-19 pandemic. According to some accounts, the greatest human tragedy of the past century affected every aspect of human existence. Despite the fact that the globe is getting ready for another post-pandemic historic calamity. People won't fully understand the serious ramifications of a catastrophic nightmare for years, even while the globe is getting ready for a new post-pandemic normal. The pandemic provided a much-needed house shaking in many facets of our social and personal lives, despite the lasting and irreversible harm it caused. The education sector was one of the most severely hit initially, although it is anticipated that it would recover with time. What the epidemic taught us about professional development and instruction for second language teachers is outlined in this chapter. The volume's contributors, who were among the first to focus on the problem of language teaching during the epidemic, also take this into consideration.

 Abstract

This research investigates the comparative effectiveness of pharmaceutical marketing strategies for metformin in the antidiabetic drug market, particularly focusing on generic versus branding approaches. The study explores how factors such as cost-effectiveness, accessibility, and perceptions of quality and efficacy influence consumer preferences in choosing between generic and branded versions of metformin. Through a comprehensive literature review, various aspects are examined, including branding and generic strategies, dynamic brand choice processes, competition in pharmaceutical pricing, and safety and efficacy comparisons between generic and branded metformin. The research methodology involves conducting a survey among physicians, patients, and pharmacists in the Vidarbha region of India to gather insights into their preferences and perceptions regarding generic and branded metformin. The findings from the survey indicate a preference for branded medicine among physicians and patients, with concerns about the efficacy and safety of generics. However, there is a lack of awareness and misconceptions about generic medicines among the surveyed population. These findings underscore the need for increased awareness campaigns to promote the use of generic drugs, emphasizing their safety and efficacy to improve accessibility and affordability in healthcare.

 Abstract

Food plays a crucial role in the growth and development of the body, essential for human survival by providing necessary nutrition. Fast food, being convenient and ready-to-eat, is widely consumed. The primary reason for society's preference for fast food is the fast-paced nature of modern life. However, this convenience comes with significant negative impacts on both physical and mental health. Nutritionally, fast food is deficient, containing high levels of unhealthy substances such as sugar, salt, saturated or trans fats, and various processed preservatives. The body's reaction to the lack of essential nutrients manifests in both short-term and long-term effects. Short-term impacts include fluctuations in blood sugar levels and blood pressure, while long-term consumption can lead to digestive issues, weakened immunity, inflammation, heart problems, respiratory issues, and more. To mitigate these effects, it is important to shift towards a healthy diet and ensure adequate hydration. Replacing meals with nutritious options like fruits, low-calorie foods, fresh juices, and low-fat dairy can help in this transition. Research on this issue has been ongoing for many years, particularly in the United States and other countries. The research primarily utilizes secondary data and gathers primary data through questionnaires. The focus is on adolescents and middle-aged individuals, who are the highest consumers of fast food. This paper emphasizes the importance of raising awareness about healthy eating habits to avoid the detrimental effects of fast food on physical and mental health.

 Abstract

Gymnanthemum amygdalinum (Delile) Sch.Bip. ex Walp. (Asteraceae), better known by its former name Vernonia amygdalina Delile, is a small shrub with wide medicinal properties. The aim of this work is to screen the extracts of Gymnanthemum amygdalinum leaves for phytochemical and physiochemical composition mainly to establish its earlier claimed usage as traditional and modern medicine. The preliminary phytochemical analysis of ethanol and petroleum ether extracts showed the presence of tannins, flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, and carbohydrates. The phytochemical compounds especially alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, glycosides and carbohydrates were detected in both pet ether and ethanol extracts of leaves. Quantitative determination of the phytochemical compounds found in the barks and leaves of the tree revealed that the extracts had significantly higher values of alkaloids, flavonoids and glycosides than barks. Saponins and anthraquinnes were found to be significantly more in barks than in leaves. The total ash, water soluble, acid insoluble and sulphated ash in leaves were measured to be 12.14%, 5.53%, 2.04% and 14.02% respectively. The results obtained were remarkable and the plant can be further explored in the treatment of oxidative stress and other related disorders.

 Abstract

This study has been undertaken to investigate the system on developing an AI-powered exam proctoring system designed to ensure the integrity of online exams. The system uses artificial intelligence to monitor students during their tests, detecting any signs of cheating or suspicious behavior. It employs facial recognition to confirm student identities, tracks eye movements, and analyzes background noise and movements. It can recognize suspicious behaviors, such as looking away from the screen frequently, talking, or having other people in the background. By using AI, the system provides a reliable and scalable way to ensure exam integrity. This automated approach aims to provide a secure and fair testing environment, reducing the need for human proctors and making online exams more reliable and accessible. The project also takes privacy concerns very seriously by implementing strong data security measures and strictly following all relevant laws and regulations. It ensures that personal information is protected at all times, giving both students and institutions peace of mind that their data is safe and secure. This approach can enhance the credibility of online assessments and support the growing trend of remote learning.

 Abstract

This project delves into the innovative domain of image synthesis using state-of-the-art techniques in artificial intelligence. By harnessing the power of the Diffusers library, we embark on a journey to create vivid and lifelike images from textual descriptions. Through the utilization of DiffusionPipeline, a pre-trained model adept at understanding and generating images, we explore the seamless integration of natural language prompts with image synthesis algorithms. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as transformers and accelerated computing, our project aims to push the boundaries of creativity and realism in AI-generated imagery. The project methodology involves initializing the DiffusionPipeline with specific parameters, including the choice of model variant and computational precision, to optimize image generation performance. We meticulously craft textual prompts, providing detailed descriptions that serve as the creative blueprint for the generated images. Employing advanced techniques in machine learning, our model learns to interpret and translate these prompts into visually captivating representations. Through iterative experimentation and fine-tuning, we strive to achieve a balance between coherence to the prompt and artistic diversity in the generated images. Evaluation metrics such as image quality, diversity, and adherence to the prompt guide our optimization process, ensuring the production of visually appealing and conceptually faithful results. Beyond its technical intricacies, this project explores the broader implications of AI-generated imagery in various domains, including digital art, visual storytelling, and content creation. By showcasing the potential of AI as a tool for creative expression and innovation, we seek to inspire dialogue and collaboration at the intersection of technology and the arts.

 Abstract

Soil is a vital substance for all creatures in the world, soil has vast usage in different parts such as agriculture, civil work, foundation, bridges, embankment, buildings, canals, tunneling etc. Soil has different types and all the types of soil cannot fulfill all requirements of engineering properties and cannot stand against the properties such as mechanical strength, permeability, compressibility etc. among the different types of soils expansive soil is a weak soil which has less shear strength and should be stabilized for various construction purposes. Stabilization is the process of blending materials with soil in order to improve certain properties of soil like plasticity index, gradation, texture or act as a binder for the cementation of soil. Normally stabilization of soil is done by adding additives like lime, cement, etc. Cement stabilization is one of the effective stabilization processes but proves to be very costly in a long run. So, it needs an economic replacement by such materials which possess the same properties as that possessed by cement. It is being found that Pond ash possesses pozzolanic properties having silica as main component and Egg shell powder is having calcium oxide as its main component both being the main constituents of cement. Therefore, cement can be replaced partially or fully by these two waste materials in soil stabilization. A huge amount of eggshell and pond ash wastes is produced every year and there is an absence of effective waste disposal. Hence it is proposed to utilize ESP and pond ash for soil improvement which serves two purposes like waste utilization and also soil stabilization. In this present study, the two waste materials used are PA and ESP in different proportions. PA is first added in natural soil in different proportions like 3%, 5%, 7%, 9%and 11% by weight of soil and 5% PA was found an optimum proportion based on UCS values. After finding the optimum proportion of PA-soil mix i.e., 5% Then ESP was added in different proportions like 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% to the Soil-PA mix. From test results it was found that the UCS got a maximum value of 271.24 KN/m2 at 6% ESP.
