 Abstract

The photo-degradation of newly synthesized of Zn doped and NiO nanoparticles were done by simple novel sol gel method, this method is low cost method and simple. Effect of different wt% of Zn dopant in NiO was studied on photocatalytic degradation of Toluidine Blue. The study suggested the increased photocatalytic degradation with increased time duration. The synthesized samples were analyzed by surface electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction studies.

 Abstract

Air pollution and its detriment to mortal health has come a serious problem in numerous metropolises at the world. In recent times, exploration interests in measuring and prognosticating the quality of air around people has spiked. Since the Internet of effects (IoT) has been extensively used in different disciplines to ameliorate the quality life for people by connecting multiple detectors in different places, it also makes the air pollution covering further easier than ahead. Traditional way of using fixed detectors cannot effectively give a comprehensive view of air pollution in people's immediate surroundings, since the closest detectors can be conceivably long hauls down. Our exploration focuses on modeling the air quality pattern in a given region by espousing both fixed and moving IOT detectors, which are placed on vehicles patrolling around the region. With our approach, a full diapason of how air quality varies in near regions can be anatomized. We demonstrate the feasibility of our approach in effectively measuring and prognosticating air quality using different machine learning algorithms with real world data. Our evaluation shows a promising result for effective air quality monitoring and vaticination for a smart megacity operation.

 Abstract

Borassus flabellifer is Greek word commonly known as Palmyra palm. Neera is unfermented toddy obtained from palmyra trees. Many of the people are consuming the sap in the form of neera or toddy. Palm jaggery is a sugar rich and high medicinal properties product. There is a huge demand in the market for high nutritive products made with jaggery in place of refined sugar. This study was conducted to develop palm jaggery based chocolates. The palm jaggery chocolates-based chocolates was prepared with different proportions of palm jaggery, i.e., 50% respectively. These developed palm jaggery chocolates were acceptable with good flavour and desirable textural properties.

 Abstract

The 2011 Indian census alone accounts for 4.9 lakhs of transgender people living in India which is allegedly only 1/6th of the actual population. Researchers suggest that most transgender people face harassment, abuse, and discrimination in the workplace. Therefore, the present study aims to understand transphobia among private-sector employees. The study was conducted on private-sector employees of Maharashtra and Karnataka (N=150) using the purposive sampling technique. The Genderism- Transphobia Scale by Darryl B. Hill and Brian L.B. Willoughby (2005) was used to assess transphobia. There is a significant difference in transphobia/genderism among private-sector employees based on employment type. Also, the findings suggest there is a significant difference in gender bashing among private-sector employees based on employment type and their location state.

 Abstract

In India nearly about 70 percentage of people are depending on agriculture. Numerous operations are performed in the agricultural field like seed sowing, grass cutting, ploughing etc. The present methods of seed sowing, pesticide spraying and grass cutting are difficult. The equipment's used for above actions are expensive and inconvenient to handle. So the agricultural system in India should be encouraged by developing a system which will reduce the man power and time. This work aims to design, develop and design of the robot which can sow the seeds, cut the grass and spray the pesticides, this whole system is powered by solar energy. The designed robot gets energy from solar panel and is operated using Bluetooth/Android App which sends the signals to the robot for required mechanisms and movement of the robot. This increases the efficiency of seed sowing, pesticide spraying and grass cutting and also reduces the problem encountered in manual planting

 Abstract

Social media is nowadays widely popular among the youngsters, mainly the students who are the keen users of the social media as the various social media apps lure the student to use it for different purposes. A number of social media apps like Whats app, face book, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and snap chats are the centre of attraction for the students all over India and the world. Students are accessing these social media applications for various purposes like entertainment, work and study. The average Indian spends more than seventeen hours weekly on social media. India stood at 310 million social media users in January 2019, which is expected to be 448 million by2023. This study is purely based upon primary data collected online on students from various parts in India and content analysis will be done on the basis of the data collected. The purpose of this research is to discover that whether social media helps or hinders the students in enhancing their academic performance and also the paper deals about the distractions which the students are facing due to inappropriate use of social media. The paper also provides recommendations and suggestions to make effective use of social media by the students

 Abstract

In this work, Graphene based Silica coated Chromium oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by biological method using Aristolochia Indica extract in which enzymes converted metal salts into nanoparticles. These particles were characterized by XRD (X-ray Diffraction), EDX (Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy), UV-Vis (Ultraviolet Visible), SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and Electrochemical Analysis. The size of nanoparticles of Cr2O3 core, Cr2O3 /SiO2 core shell and Cr2O3/SiO2 /GO were 58, 40 and 17 nm respectively. SEM showed well-defined and rods with width 27, 21 and 10 nm range. The Cr2O3/SiO2/GO core shell nanoparticles were studied towards optical, optoelectronic and specific capacitance for energy devices.

 Abstract

In these investigations, sufficiently large transparent poly crystals, free from micro-cracks were grown in a ceramic crucible using a simple low-cost chemical method of growing from the melt by rapid cooling. The X.R.D., D.T.A., T.G.A., refractive index and Luminescence study showed excitation peak at 244nm and emission peak at 360 nm which supports the formation of NaCl poly crystals. It is observed that in grown poly crystals NaCl, hygroscopic character has been reduced more over the micro hardness appears to have been increased. The work suggests to quantify the optical band gap of the grown NaCl polycrystal and its comparison with the reference standard to test the insulating property of the material. The value of optical energy gap is calculated & found to be 4.821eV & 3.288eV respectively for excitation and emission luminescence.

 Abstract

The advent of new woman has been extensively discussed in the contemporary world. New woman is self-assured, aggressive, and self-reliant in every aspect of her character. She is extremely ambitious and does not rely on any man. She is well equipped and capable to deal with her issues. She competes with men in all walks of life. Women are suppressed in the patriarchal society. The need for empowerment is highlighted in the modern world. New woman desires for emancipation, upliftment, and progress. She prefers to have social, economic, and cultural liberation. She feels that it is practical only through the empowerment of women. She questions all norms and rules laid down by the male-dominated society. Shobha De, the Indian woman novelist, delineates most of her female characters based on empowerment and liberation. Sultry Days by Shobha De is an attempt to project various means of oppression of women in patriarchy.

 Abstract

Brain organ details are observed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The brain organ has various spiral shaped features which get mixed with tumor features. This increases the complexity during classification while detecting brain tumor by processing brain MRI images. The right candidate feature selection is important step before classification which increases the accuracy of tumor detection. The local binary pattern based (LBP) features extraction and candidate feature selection using particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used in the work presented in this paper. This paper contributes in performance evaluation of brain MRI images tumor image classification with optimized features and support vector machine (SVM) based classifier. The results obtained are satisfactory in terms of accuracy.
