Abstract: - Melon (Cucumis melo L.) has a high economic value, and its production has increased in recent years; however, a portion of the fruit is wasted. During processing and consumption, inedible parts such as peel and seeds are typically discarded. Melon residue extracts were studied and their phenolic compounds, antioxidants, and antiproliferative activities were investigated. Melon, due to its pleasant taste and diverse chemical composition, is an excellent source of biologically active compounds for humans. Melon contains glucose, fructose, vitamin A, D, C, K, E, and some vitamins from group B. Total phenolic compounds were discovered in hydroethanolic, hydromethanolic, and aqueous extracts, particularly melon peel (1.016 mg gallic acid equivalent/100 g). The total flavonoid content of melon peel aqueous extract was found to be 262 mg of catechin equivalent (CA)/100 g. Significant amounts of gallic acid, catechin, and eugenol were found in all melon peel extracts. Total antioxidant capacity, expressed as ascorbic acid equivalent, was 89, 74, and 83 mg/g for hydroethanolic and hydromethanolic extracts in peels and hydromethanolic extracts in seeds, respectively. Cold pressing was used to extract the oil from the seeds, which was then tested for parameters such as iodine value, saponification value, and fatty acid profile. The findings revealed a high iodine value as well as the presence of polyunsaturated fatty acids like omega-6 (linoleic acid) and monounsaturated fatty acids like omega-9 (oleic acid). It also contains saturated fatty acids like palmitic and stearic acid. The seeds offer potential for development as value-added products, dietary supplements, and medicines.

Road accidents have become a common phenomenon in these modern days. Reasons for road accidents are many. Driver drowsiness can be considered one of the major distractions that may lead to a road accident. To reduce the frequency of road accidents driver drowsiness system is made. This system is a safety alarm system that indicators the driver every time the driver feels drowsy. The eye movement of the driver is monitored and each time the driver feels asleep or closes their eye for a certain frame then it signals the driver with the help of an alarm. This is carried out by means of the usage of a machine learning and deep learning model to identify the face of the driver using a camera and analyze the state of the driving force. Two different algorithms are used to raise the detection accuracy, namely, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Convolution Neural Network (CNN). SVM uses an Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) for training the model. CNN uses the MLR eye dataset is used to train the model. The findings of this study show that CNN achieved the best result compared to SVM.

Since low-energy emulsification methods like spontaneous or self-nano emulsification were reported, there has been a resurgence of interest in nanoemulsions for diverse medicinal applications. Self-nano emulsifying drug delivery systems (SNEDDS) are anhydrous homogeneous liquid solutions of oil, surfactant, drug, and co-emulsifier or solubilizer that spontaneously produce oil in water nanoemulsions of 200 nm or less in size when diluted with water and gently stirred. The selection of SNEDDS components is heavily influenced by physicochemical features, drug solubilization capability, and physiological destiny. Phase diagrams may be utilized to optimize the composition of SNEDDS, while statistical experimental design can be used to further optimize SNEDDS. Nanotechnology has become a buzzword in the pharmaceutical sciences, and attempts are underway to broaden its uses across the board. Over the last two decades, nanotechnology has had a significant impact on drug delivery research, and numerous nanoscale technologies/carriers have been and are being investigated for increasing medication therapeutic performance. SNEDDS conversion from liquid to solid Researchers have also produced SNEDDS dose forms that may be taken orally or in solid form. SNEDDS has the potential to improve patient compliance while also reducing the difficulties that come with liquid SNEDDS-filled capsules.

Millions of people around the globe suffer from various disease per annum. Extensive part of these infections is hand acquired infections. World Health Organization suggests hand hygiene as a primitive precaution focus to decrease the infection rates. We evaluated various aspects related to the occupational behavior and prioritization regarding hand hygiene measures among the College students, Department of Microbiology, Dr.N.G.P Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Gram positive cocci were found in abundance followed by Gram positive rods. The antibiotics resistance profile showed that the isolated bacterial strains were mainly sensitive to Streptomycin, whereas, majority of the isolates were resistant to cefixime - a third generation Cephalosporin. Methicillin resistance was also found common among Staphylococcus spp.The study indicated the resistance spread among the opportunistic normal flora and the role of unhygienic hands in their transmission.

Solubility is the process of soluble solids in a liquid phase to give the same system. Solubility is one of the most important parameters for achieving the desired concentration of a drug in the distribution system to reflect the drug response. Water-soluble drugs usually require high doses to achieve plasma concentration after treatment orally. Low-melting aqueous melting is a major problem encountered with the construction of new chemical enterprises. Any medicine to be absorbed should be present in the form of an aqueous solution in the place of absorption. Water is the solvent of choice in the manufacture of pharmaceutical liquids. Most drugs have a weak acid and a poor foundation water melting. Therefore various methods are used to improve the solubility of soluble drugs including micronization, chemical modification, preparation, solid dispersion, compaction, mixing, micellar solubilization, hydrotropy etc. The purpose of this review article is to explain solubilizaton techniques for effective absorption and improved bioavailability

Iot Based Greenhouse Monitoring System using Arduino primarily focuses on the improvement of current agricultural practices by using modern technologies for better yield. This work provides a model of a smart greenhouse, which helps the farmers to carry out the work in a farm automatically without the use of much manual inspection. Greenhouse, being a closed structure protects the plants from extreme weather conditions namely: wind, hailstorm, ultraviolet radiations, and insect and pest attacks. The irrigation of agriculture field is carried out using automatic drip irrigation, which operates according to the soil moisture threshold set accordingly so as optimal amount of water is supplied to the plants. Based on data from soil health card, proper amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other minerals can also be supplied by using drip fertilization techniques. Proper water management tanks are constructed and they are filled with water after measuring the current water level using an ultrasonic sensor. Plants are also provided the requisite wavelength light during the night using glowing lights. Temperature and air humidity are controlled by humidity and temperature sensors and a fogger is used to control the same. Using Wi-Fi module data from sensors can be observed in our mobile phones and so efficiency is improved. Hence this project improves plant quality and yield.
