Unified power flow controller (UPFC) is one of the most advanced flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS) devices that can simultaneously and independently control both the real and reactive power flow in a transmission line. The utilization of UPFC can result in significant reliability benefits in modern power systems. This paper proposes a novel reliability network model for a UPFC, which incorporates the logical structure and the distinct operating modes of a UPFC. Two-state or three-state models have been used for UPFC by previous researchers. The proposed model divides the UPFC operating modes into four states, namely the UPFC up state, STATCOM state, SSSC state and UPFC down state, in order to improve the accuracy of the model by recognizing the practical operating states of a UPFC. The new model also incorporates an AC flow-based optimal load shedding approach to assess the impact of bus voltages and reactive power flow on UPFC in order to decide appropriate load curtailment in the reliability evaluation process. The performance of the proposed model is verified using a test system, and compared with different reliability models of UPFC. Various operating schemes, such as different placement locations of UPFC, and different capacities of UPFC are used to illustrate the advantages of the developed models, and to examine the impacts of UPFC on the system reliability.

The main aim of this study is to analyse the work-life balance of fisherwomen in unorganized sector. In this purpose Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh state has been chosen as the study area, where 12 villages of 6 mandals mostly fishermen community populated located in coastal zone are selected. A sample of 600 working women of fishermen community selected randomly 50 from each village with stratified method. Thus, the selected women are engaged in fish marketing activities and work for unorganised units like shrimp hatcheries, cold storages, etc. The data was collected about personal information of the sample respondents, along with work environment, facilities at workplace, work performance and work-life with the help of an interview schedule and processed with SPSS for analysis. The results revealed that better performance of fisher women gives the more satisfaction and managing their family emergencies becomes easier them to handle outside work with better work practices. Moreover, comparison of work performance with others makes their life more relaxed and they would be less stressed in their job with good work practices. Since, fisherwomen don't get reasonable remuneration for their work better work practices improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their work-life.

Tree trafficking has been a long-standing and regrettable problem. Cutting trees such as red sanders, teak wood and sandal wood is still a challenging task. Despite many advances in technology, ensuring the protection of trees in a vast region like as a forest is difficult. It is also opulent to put into practice. We are working on a method to prevent tree trafficking in the forest. Arduino is used with a flex sensor humidity sensor , mems sensor and power supply to create the systems. At the point if any malfunction, the tree unit module and that the specifical geographical location will be communicated via GSM.gsm is also being used to restructure real-time data from the tree unit to that the monitoring section. This ensures data security as well as privacy.

Analog-to-digital coverters (ADCs) are used for digital signal processing in biomedical wearable devices,in implantable medical devices such as pacemakers, sensor interfaces such as in temperature and image sensors, and in the Internet of Things ( IOT ) applications . Several works have aimed to reduce the power consumption as the previously mentioned applications require low power for long term operations where the primary source of power is usually batteries. This introduces a new successive approximation register circuit ( SAR ) for SAR analog to digital converter (ADC) based on Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) cells. Based on the proposed DRAM based SAR ADC and a differential capacitive DAC, a 10-bit ADC is designed in 0.18um CMOS technology.

Dermis problems are dangerous and often contagious, especially melanoma, eczema, and impetigo. These skin diseases can be cured if detected early. The basic problem with it, only a dermatologist can diagnose such a disease. At times, doctors also fail miserably to properly diagnose the disease and thus give the wrong medication to the patient. Our paper proposes a way to diagnose skin disease based on Image Processing and Deep Learning Strategies. Our system is based on mobile phones so it can be used even in remote areas. I the patient needs to provide a picture of the infected area and is provided as an input application. Graphic Processing and In-depth Learning Strategies process us and bring us the most accurate output. In this paper, we present a comparison of two different real-time skin diseases to find an algorithm based on accuracy. We compared the Navies Bias Classifier. Results for real-time testing is introduced.
