There are increasing applications which require biometric methods for identifying and verifying a person. A biometric system using a single physical characteristic does not have good performance parameters, which can be improvised by using a multimodal biometric system. Palm prints and palm veins have many biometric features that are unique and distinctive. They can be acquired in a touchless acquisition setup. This paper investigates the performance of multimodal biometrics with fusion of palm prints and palm vein images. The fusion can be carried out at sample level, feature level or score level. The effect of fusion on identification as well as verification is studied and evaluated. The analysis of results obtained is presented in the paper.

Ensembling is a system that aims to maximize the detection performance by fusing individual sensors. While infrequently mentioned in deep- literacy papers applied to remote seeing, ensembling styles have been extensively used to achieve high scores in recent data wisdom com desires, similar as Kaggle. The many remote seeing papers mentioning ensembling substantially concentrate on medial resolution images and earth observation Operations similar as land use bracket, but noway on veritably High Resolution( VHR) images for defense- related operations or object discovery. This study aims at reviewing the most applicable ensembling ways to be used for object discovery on veritably high resolution imagery and shows an illustration of the value of similar fashion on a applicable functional use case( vehicle discovery in desert areas).

The Indian Contract Act 1872 is a well detailed document that has governed many contracts over the years. It has been so detail drafted by the legislative makers that it has not invited any major changes in its usage in over so many years. It has been governing contracts in the Indian Corporate Sector for an exceptionally long time. However, with the advent of blockchain technology and emerging players with changing contours, it becomes imperative to amend the Indian Contracts Act to incorporate the dynamics of 21st century. It is also in the interests of modern corporate governance that Indian Contract Act is introduced with some changes. This paper talks about the incorporation of smart contracts based on blockchain technology, amendment of contracts for surrogacy in the medical sector, new dimensions related to article 11 and 27 of Indian Contract Act, new provisions for digital contracts and a relook at section 74 of the Indian Contract Act. All of these are major topics that need amendments for plugging the loopholes in the century old Contracts Act. This paper also provides suggestions that needs to be incorporated into the Indian Contract Act 1872 so that new global companies find it easier and helpful to engage in a wide variety of domestic and International contracts with Indian people. Finally, this paper provides a wide overlook at the Indian Contract Act along with the difficulty in interpretation of certain provisions mentioned in the aforementioned act I argue that reforms in Indian Contract Act based on smart contracts arising out of blockchain technology is the way forward. In addition to that, I dive into the topics of problem of consideration and contract formation in surrogacy. Alongside a revamp of the existing sections, I argue the benefits that one might find in updating the archaic Indian Contract Act 1872.

A power system is becoming more complex and heavily loaded day by day. Earlier electric power systems were small and localized. Thus, real and reactive power compensation in transmission line is essential which will improve the stability of ac system. Flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS) technology provides new opportunity to control the power and enhancing the capacity of the present as well as new line sit is used to investigate the effect of this device in controlling active and reactive powers as well as damping power system oscillations in transient mode. A transmission line needs regulation. This can be achieved by FACTS controllers. The employed compensators are three phase (IGBT) based, PWM operated converter (VSC). The proposed control employs proportional integral controller to generate a constant error

In India, air pollution is increasing day by day at the rate. The major reasons for increasing in pollution level are crops remain burnt, smoke from the motor vehicle, open defecation of smoke in atmosphere from the industries and burning the garbage openly. Internet of Things(IOT) based pollution system mainly issued to detect the current level of harmful gases in the atmosphere. In our day to day lives the quality of air determines the most because every living organism needs fresh air to live. This IoT based pollution monitoring system will help us to collect the data from any of the location where device is being installed. All the data will be visible in the smart phone app. In this project we have used the mobile application called Blynk . By the concept of IoT we can use various pollution devices at different locations and get the data to the smartphone through the app.

Confidentiality is major task for every sector, keeping things confidential among the organization is the most important factors. Providing security for information is also major concern for the fast growth of the digital exchange of data storage and transmission. As there is rapid growth of using images in many fields, so it is important to protect the private image data from intruders. In this paper, we propose Email authentication for encrypted and decrypted image. In our framework, first, the confidential image will be encrypted using a symmetric key algorithm, Advanced Encryption Standard (abbreviated as AES) by the sender and the encrypted image will be send via Email to receiver. The Cryptographic algorithms provides security to the image, as we proposed AES to our framework it will become more difficult to crack the original image for intruders. Moreover there are some other encryption algorithms to encrypt and decrypt the image but Advanced Encryption standard has its unique features like it protects from brute-force attack and image takes less rounds to encrypt, etc. that gives more security compare with other symmetric algorithms. And Email provides a secure transmission of encrypted image. The above results and analysis for crypto system based on AES algorithm give a high performance. So we have reason to believe that use of this method to encrypt and decrypt the image and sending via Email will have a very good prospect in the future.

In modern days, person-computer communication systems have gradually penetrated our lives. One of the crucial technologies in person-computer communication systems, Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) technology, permits machines to correctly recognize emotions and greater understand users' intent and human-computer interlinkage. The main objective of the SER is to improve the human-machine interface. It is also used to observe a person's psychological condition by lie detectors. Speech recognition has been used in medicine and forensic medicine.Automatic Speech Emotion Recognition(SER) is vital in the person-computer interface, but SER has challenges for accurate recognition. In this work to resolve the above problem, automatic Speech enhancement shows that deep learning techniques effectively eliminate background noise.Using Deep leaning models for four states were created: happy, sad, angry, and intoxicated. Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) algorithm used to reduce the possibility of over fitting by randomly omitting neurons in the hidden layers. For accurate classification results, preprocessing filters extract voice and non-voice features from speech. Then feature selection is extracting the speech relevant features to predict accurate results. The proposed RNN method could be implemented in personal assistant systems to give better and more appropriate state-based interactions between humans. In the simulation results shows Improving accuracy, Time complexity, Error rate is also reduced to using the proposed method.

Early life has increasingly been recognized as a time frame in which nutritional requirements rise and lifetime diet and lifestyle taste and preferences are founded, not just as an initial moment of opportunity for catch-up growth (Goldberg GR et al. 2013) but also as a period in which nutritional requirements growth and long-time dietary interests are established. These practices can have an effect on the health status of teenagers and also coming generations (Viner RM, 2013). The aim of the study is to assess awareness on the ill effects of street food among school students. Descriptive research design been used in this study. It is concerned with describing the social demographic characters along the economic, street food issues, spreads germs and bacteria, hygienic methods, and the problems related to consumption of street food among school students. The universe of the study is 9th standards boys and girls who are studying in private higher secondary School in Trichy. There are 124 boys and 86girls who constitute the universe of the study. The researcher selected 50, 9th grade students for this study by using simple random sampling (lottery method). The research used self-prepared questionnaire covering their awareness on the ill effects of street food among school students. Major findings of the study is discussed in the full paper.

A Environmental protection is an important issue in 2 recent decades, and renewable energy is an ideal solution for eco-friendly power generation. Solar-power generation is a popular renewable energy with low cost and small environmental footprint, which leads to exponential growth and high industrialinvestment. A mature solar business model has been established, but some uncertainties hinder the development, especially whenfocusing on the lack of solar-radiation. To address these issues,in this paper we propose a hedging system to hedge the low10 radiation risk for solar-investors through the designed IoT-basedata, edge-based models for predicting solar-radiation as well as hedging options. Our experimental results show that the edge-based predictive models can obtain an R-squared value of 0.841 and a correlation coefficient of 0.917. For binary options designedin the hedging system, the broker can obtain stable payoffs withthe highest Sharpe ratio of 3.354, and the investors can obtainlarge payoffs during low-radiation. Our simulation results showthe effectiveness of the proposed hedging system for investors(buyer-side), simultaneously, present the motivation of the broker(seller-side) to join the designed hedging system utilized in solar21 power generation.
